We ducked into Tin Bins after getting drenched from a downpour on our return trip from walking the partially constructed Loop Trail over the new St. Croix Crossings Bridge to Wisconsin. Very pleasantly surprised. You can see the river from Tin Bins while sipping coffee and hot tea. They also have a patio with a view to the river but we chose to stay indoors where it was dry. Would definitely return. Would have given five stars if the windows were bigger for maximum viewing of the river.

A little on the spendy side but you get what you pay for. Nice views and good food. Get the banana walnut chocolate chip muffin. Best. Muffin. Ever. Also, its a seasonal item, but when I can - I get the lavendar white chocolate mocha accompanied by a biscotti. It never disappoints. My daughter and I love going here in the winter. Its much quieter downtown and the snowy views are amazing with a warm mug of kids hot cocoa.

What a delightful find! I happened upon this cafe and was truly taken back by the charming ambience full of character in every aspect from the creative coffee cocktails to the delectable cuban sandwich to the generally relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to becoming a regular!

Lots of fresh choices. Nice atmosphere and ability to sit outside. One of my favorite places to grab lunch in Stillwater. Needs to switch their frappe mix without dairy. The frappe we got was quite icey and not belended well. But great place for brunch or lunch.

Excellent coffee and baked goods in the perfect downtown location. The old Commander grain elevator adds great historicity to the cafe vibe. Love to sit out on the deck in the morning and enjoy the quiet small town din of Stillwater.

What a wonderful café! I love the baked goods, fantastic breakfast and amazing coffee. Free WiFi and in a historic building. They get busy in the morning, which I can understand. I find I is still worth the wait, if there is one!

The food here was certainly tasty and the atmosphere is great, but it seemed a little over priced. I would still recommend it, however, because it was one of the few places with water views that wasnt super crowded.

This place is really cool and would probably get a slightly higher rating from me except that I miss the climbing walls that I used to enjoy. Get the cuban if youre hungry, and show up for the live music some night.

It was a weird mix of bar and coffee shop and restaurant. Decor wasnt that great. It didnt look new or modern. It had an old vibe to it. It didnt seem particularly clean.
