After hearing that they have some of the best burgers in town, I decided I had to check this place out, unfortunately I never got to try their burgers! I love Brines and am a regular customer there, but decided I needed a change. The service was very poor and the waitress unprofessional. The place was not that busy and after we were given our drinks she just disappeared. After about 10 minutes she reappeared and was helping other patrons that had just arrived. She then starting takes orders from other tables and ignored ours. After 15-20 minutes, enough was enough so we got up to pay for our drinks and leave. The same person that greeted us as we entered thought we were new customers. The workers there are just not professional and seem to spend more time talking than actually working and serving customers. Its unfortunate that I never got to try their burgers, but given the service, I have no interest in going back and will stick with Brines $2 burger nights.

yes i understand that today is new years day and there was allot of people there but come on. I was asked three separate times if i was finished already and asking me to leave if i was. when in reality i had not even been waited on the first time, the second time i was waiting for my food and the third time i was waiting for my ticket, i believe the owner, whom was asking also was hovering over my table the entire time clearing things immediately when we were finished, He asked if there was a problem i felt like saying that i would just like to enjoy my food and Im sorry Im still in here because your cooks and servers were slow and i also felt like saying i dont want to pay 11 dollars for my haystack that was the extremely small and my ice cold toast, I will never eat here again i used to like that place but not any more. I was very unsatisfied with my service, my meal and my entire experience with the river oasis cafe thank you for your time.

I love coming to "The O" for breakfast on the weekends. Great way to recover after a night out. The portions are hearty and the service is great. It is best to arrive before 9AM as it gets really busy at that time and you can usually expect a line out the door. The fact that people are willing to stand outside for 30 minutes (sometimes in the cold or rain!) to eat here is as much of a positive review as you will ever see online. Please ignore the bad reviews for people that are whining about the minimum wage increase. This is a small, locally owned business with hands on owners. If you dont support the owners decision then feel free to take your business elsewhere but writing a bad review based on your political opinions is childish and petty. Edit to add: Look at all the reviews of people that actually eat here. It is all 4 and 5 stars. We come here for the food and leave the politics at home.

Visited the Oasis last Saturday with a friend. We both LOVED it. The food was awesome and our service was excellent. We were waited on by no less than a team of 4 people. None had name tags but the server name printed on our receipt was Jay. So a big shout out to Jay and his team! We never wanted for anything, our coffee cups were never empty, the french toast was fantastic, the biscuits and gravy the bomb, and the bacon, well, the bacon was cooked perfectly. Just exactly how we asked for it. The prices are very, very reasonable. Just the weekend before we went to a chain beginning with I and ending with Hop. The prices were higher, the service not near the level at the Oasis, the food was passable but not comparable to the Oasis. Not to mention, at this little gem of a restaurant, there is a fantastic view of the river this time of year.

This was an absolutely wonderful cafe! The prices are so cheap for the quality of food! I had the salmon and asparagus eggs Benedict and my friend had the hangover sandwich, there was so much on our plates we had to get To go boxes but it was so tasty we kept opening them up on our drive home to eat more. We both were very impressed with the staff! The place is a cute atmosphere with a very retro/vintage feel and has a beautiful cliff right outside. The patio is perfect for coffee or milkshakes and after you finish you can drive 15 min to a beautiful waterfall. Not only did the owner ask us how our food was but our server had so much character and soul that he made the experience feel like we fit in with the regulars even though we were just passing by on a road trip. Love it!

They are cheaters/beware when you pay, keep an eye on your statement if paying by credit card. I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered a Veggie grilled sandwitch, picked up/was take out on 03/23 afternoon time. The amount I paid was less than 9$ (there was no tip option on the receipt I was given to confirm amount, 8.94 or was close to that amount the total for pick up order). The same I ordered few days back from them first time, it was 9.00 round total I did. Now for the same ordered, what I am seeing 11.94, they cheaters added the 3$ of tip without my knowledge. Cheaters they are, beware if doing payment through card. Nope its not a mistake, it was cheating with the customer. Dont buy anything from this guys with Credit/Debit card.

This is my favorite brunch spot, its summer lets go out and have a bite spot, and its 6PM and I want breakfast spot. They always have great service and amazing food. Pictures below: burger with red sauce and what looks like breading is the Chainsaw Burger, the Breakfast plate is steak and eggs, and the other sandwich is just a plain yet amazing BLT. I have no issues with this place and love talking to the staff. The owner is around from time to time and we chatted once in a while because my father used to work at the gas station that was located right beside the little dinner years ago. Its small but comforting, Ill go here whenever I have a chance.

The Oasis Cafe was a pleasant place to eat from right when we got there to when we left. The host (possibly owner) told us for 2 people it would only be about a 10 minute wait and we got in quicker than that. Its also cute that when they take names they took our favorite cartoon character. When we were seated we had an awesome waitress even when she was super busy with how packed the cafe was at 10 am on a Sunday. The breakfast food was amazing & the host came over and gave us a candle because we were a couple showing affection which made us laugh. A cafe that feels like home, well be back!

Loved it! Great small town feel. Staff was super friendly and always kept our coffee full! Had a bacon blue cheese burger--the best Ive had in a while! My wife had a breakfast croissant sandwich covered in their hollandaise sauce, called "holly" sauce. We could not have been happier with our meal. The other major thing this great cafe has going for it is that it is south of town. Yes! Thats right! Dont like the near ridiculus lines and crowds of packed tourist on main? Then check out the River Oasis Cafe! We plan on hitting them up tomorrow on our way out of town too!
