I went with a small group for dinner on a weeknight. We missed the rush, which was wonderful because our food arrived piping hot from the kitchen with very little wait. Our dishes (coconut curry, deviled chicken) were both deliciously flavorful and clearly used fresh ingredients. Our server was attentive, kind, and generous with offering refills of both water and sides of rice throughout the meal. The only downside was that the portions were smaller than expected -- the shrimp curry we ordered had only 7 shrimp within the large bowl of curry, compared to the menu picture which displays a much larger portion. We usually leave restaurants with leftovers, but everyone in the group finished their entire meal. Next time, well start with an appetizer to ensure everyone feels "restaurant-full."

House of Curry is one of my top restaurants in the entirety of the metro. We absolutely love the food they serve, not one bad meal has been eaten there. The recent addition of the Tuesday buffet is amazing and very well priced at around $13/person. Its a great way to try out some of the meals you wouldnt be quite ready to order a full plate of on a regular day. The staff is very attentive and always ready to refill or clear plates away. The atmosphere is quaint and quite, perfect for enjoying the delicious food. The only problem that I see is I didnt know about this place years ago!

Unlike what most people may think Sri Lankan cuisine is NOT Indian cuisine. Its pleasantly different and offers some really interesting options. We come here all the time for our comfort food fix. Be it their potato based curry, their beans subzi or their meat based curry offerings, everything is very well made. They did carry Lions beer and stout, Sri Lankas popular brews for a while and then apparently due to a distribution snafu out of their control they can no longer get it. This is a pity for this along with their food was a great combo! Hope they can get it back soon.

My friends and I make a habit of visiting all the Indian restaurants we can in the cities. However, there arent really options to find good Sri Lankan food, so enter House of Curry! The food is authentic and so delicious! The only downside for me is that theyre a bit of a drive out of the city but the food is worth it. Their chicken curry, string hoppers, godhamba roti (super thin, soft roti) and kottu roti (godhamba chopped into pieces with meat, veggies) are stellar and always my go-tos. I cant recommend it enough!

If youre looking for your average strip mall restaurant you will be disappointed... this is much much better. While little on the expensive side, especially for lunch from what you would expect for your typical stripmall restaurant the quality and quantity of food makes it worthwhile. We have eaten here several times and been pleasantly surprised each time at how good the food is and plan to make it a regular stop on our evenings out. Most definitely one of my new favorites in Rosemont.

I have eaten here several times and I have a good feel for the place. The service is very friendly and the food is quite good. I recently had the chicken kottu and it was absolutely delicious and enough food for two hearty meals. Everything I have tried has exceeded my expectations. The prices are reasonable for sure. It is a small restaurant in a strip mall....but its nice to find a place like this among all the terrible chain restaurants along Rt-42.

Absolutely delicious Sri lankan cuisine in Minnesota! House of Curry will not disappoint! The service is attentive, food amazing, and atmosphere delightful. If you have never had Kottu Roti, I would strongly recommend it! We also had rice and curry that was great too. We cant wait to plan our next trip back to House of Curry, and I hope you do the same!

I love this place! We are so lucky to have such delicious and exotic food right in Rosemount. I lived in Sri Lanka and this food is like a taste of home for me. I just recommend you ask for extra spicy of you really like spice because it think theyve toned it down for Minnesotans!

An authentic south asian experience! While curry is a varied experience across many cultures, the Sri Lankan curry taste is vivid and generally a lot spicier than most. I hope that the House of Curry can sustain a presence in Rosemount. It is a welcome diverse option.

All the curries have the same base taste even chicken and mutton tastes same except for the meat. The kothu roti and spring hoppers were very good. The spring hoppers tasted fresh. The coconut sambol also tasted authentic

Take out on one occasion. The chicken kottu was great. The chili shrimp had an amazing, intense spicy sauce, but the shrimp was a little dry. The coconut dahl (lentils) were good. Looking forward to going again!
