went here a few weeks ago. the best tom yum Ive ever had. only a couple issues. asked for no peanuts on a dish and when it arrived it still had peanuts so either the waitress forgot or the dish was already made and they werent able to get all the peanuts out of it before serving it to me. ordered a chocolate milk for my daughter which we were charged for. when we explained this, instead of them taking it off the check they brought it to us in a to go cup (and it was literally white milk with a bunch of chocolate syrup in the bottom). after this a friend went to the front and explained we didnt want it since we were leaving anyway and they then agreed to take the $2+ drink off the check. but another problem with the check was there was four of us and we wanted separate checks, instead she just split the check four ways which bothered everyone but we paid. i feel like she just didnt remember what each of us ordered. She was VERY nice though and we did tip despite the mistakes. And all the food was delicious. HOWEVER. The reason I write this review is because today (sunday, may 29th) I drove well out of my way to get some lunch (per the website indicating open) when I called ahead there was no answer that should have been a red flag (but as some other reviews state, there is often an issue with being seated promptly so I thought maybe someone was just busy or not out front. when I got there the door was locked and the place was dark. no sign saying why it was closed, just a hours sign taunting me and indicating they should be open. So I wasted my afternoon driving to a a restaurant that was closed without notice. I dont know if it was because of the holiday or what but I will definitely ask for an explanation if I go back, and I hope to because the food really was good. I will give 3 stars for now and will update if any changes happen.

I crack up reading the complaints about the owner of the restaurant on here. He is in my opinion and others I know, a little different and rude in some ways. However, the food is so high quality and good tasting, I LOVE it. I opt for take out from now on, and am very happy with all the dishes I order. In my opinion, this is some of the best food I ever have had anywhere. Some places cut corners for cost, but not here, all the food is fresh. I love the ginormous cream cheese puffs, and of course the pad thai. The shrimp is larger in the dishes than in other dishes of other places Ive eaten. The broccoli is nice and green, not cooked to shame. As far as my experience with the owner, I have stories to tell my family about my interesting evening. One includes not getting a menu, and him telling me "you have been here before, dont you know what you want?". Well, sometimes I still like to look at a menu Ive seen before, and make new choices, lol. Also he follows with telling me to wait to order till after he goes to pick his kid up from school. I have nothing against the guy at all. He takes a little getting used too, but I think his food and business are the the best in the area and this overpowers the "interesting" dining experiences Ive had. I give him 5 stars all the way for the amazing food.

I would give the food 3/5 stars, but the owner was so weird and so abrasive Im giving this one star. When I walked in no one was at the register or anywhere in sight in the restaurant. I looked at the menu for 2 minutes and heard the toilet flush in the bathroom right next to the register and he walked out and greeted me and then rubbed his stomach and made a joke about pooping. Then he was pretty abrasive with my questions about the menu. He had a gun on his hip. He was making conservative and sort of conspiracy theory sounding comments and conversation on recent current events. He really weirded me out. And it seemed like he also weirded out the other customers he served while i was waiting with his weird conversation and stories. I wont go back there. Go to Bo Bos across the street, much better. I only tried this place because bobos was closed.

Both this restaurant and the original in Albertville, MN appear to be uninteresting hole in the wall businesses from the outside. But inside with the charming authentic Thai decorations and the outstanding food, (which the owner and his Thai wife direct and prepare), it is a cant be missed experience. The food is excellent The atmosphere is nice and simple The portions are large The price is reasonable. I recommend trying the spicy wings and the sticky rice for appetizers (although my wife is partial to the pork satay) and any of the menu items are delicious. If you ar unsure of what to order the owner or the wait staff will tell you about any of the dishes and help you make a selection that you are sure to enjoy!

My husband and I went to this place on a whim when I was having a craving for Thai. Ordered potstickers,Thai Fried Rice (house special), and Rad Na with chicken. The restaurant itself does not have the most appealing atmosphere for a longer, relaxed dine-in, and the service was a bit disappointing, but the food was delicious. Both of us agreed we would definitely return and try additional menu items. In fairness, we havent visited other local Thai restaurants (Osseo for example), so we cannot compare possible alternatives, but I would recommend giving this place a try. Portions were good. Food was flavorful and fresh. Cost was moderate and fairly priced.

Right after we placed our to-go order, the man behind the counter loudly told us he was very proud of what the President said this weekend (in regards to the alt-right nazis in Charlottesville). I told him Id rather not talk about it because I knew we werent going to agree on anything, and he said, "WELL I WANNA TALK ABOUT IT, THIS IS MY RESTAURANT." as I went to take a seat. We promptly decided to leave as he continued shouting at us, "WHICH SIDE IS MORE VIOLENT, THE ALT-RIGHT OR THE ALT-LEFT?!" I said the Nazis probably were and then we left. It was surreal.

A group of us from work ordered off the menu available online, it turns out that we ordered of the Rogers location menu and actually cost $4.50 more for the cream cheese wontons and red curry with butternut squash. It turns out that the to-go portions are half the size of competing Thai restaurants. $18 for lunch is terrible value proposition. I was disappointed with curry, far too many onions and not enough squash or other vegetables. This review would be 1-star if the Cream Cheese Wontons werent amazing.

Well, we dropped in on our way to Fargo. It was about 2:30 pm and it has good reviews. No one was at the front to greet us. We sat down and waited 10 min. Someone was working in the back and could obviously see us waiting. No one came out to ask for our order. Also, there was a couple tables that still had dirty dishes on them. We walked out without talking to one person. We then went to BO BO Restaurant. They we much more professional and courteous with excellent food.
