Being a foodie would like to give 3.5 star for this restaurant and i dont prefer to eat indian food in Minneapolis with my horrible experiences with bombay bistro, india palace (plymouth), bavarchi and many more but this restaurant tops my list for now for indian food and persis in Plymouth ranks next in the neighborhood. Ordered 3 dishes butter chicken, rasmalai, bhatura it was delicious. The chicken was tender and it has right consistency for curry which goes well with rice and any indian breads probably not a bhatura(the bread was awesome) but should have chose some other bread. Rasmalai was really good which is my wifes favorite. Overall food quality was excellent tonight. The downside of tonights visit was the wait time and i would not prefer to visit the resturant for a peaceful dinner on a saturday night especially the kids were running around all over the place. Kids running around is not the resturants problem but they should find a way communicate to the customers and i think it is customers who are visiting the resturant. There is no privacy whatsoever but for a take out it is great place. I hope the comments by reviewers of metal in chicken doesnt happen as small kids eat this tasty food.

i rarely do reviews but this one got to me. We went to the restaurant with the usual cautiously optimisitic mind set. We were literally floored with the absolute lack of customer service. It took them 30 minutes to seat us and another 30 minutes to get the order in. We were still maintaining our optimism that atleast the food will be great. Then comes the food. To sum it up Service: took 30 mins to get seated and another 30 minutes for the waiter to get the order in. Cleanliness and Hygeine: The water pitcher was dirty and the guy who got us the glass for water held the glasses by putting his fingers inside just like how they do it in a road stall in India. The water pitcher was dirty and later we found a womans hair in the food and there was no woman in our table either. Quality and Quantity: We ordered 3 entrees and 3 appetizers. All 6 of them had the same color testure and taste but for the meat that went into it. The quantity served was not proportionate to the pricing either. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME... ASOLUTELY WORST SERVICE AND WORST FOOD EVER. Even McDonalds tasted better. Another one of those fly by night guys who want to make quick money . The absolute worst restaurant ever.

Ill start by saying the food is superb. There are no better options for Indian food in the west/NW suburbs. The problem is the people working there. Every time I leave shaking my head. Two times in a row at the lunch buffet Ive waited behind one of the aproned staff as he has slowly and methodically took every last piece of pakora for his own lunch. Twice! Its sort of comical. Today, as I attempted to sign my credit card receipt, the cashier tried to forcefully guide the pen in my hand towards the signature line. I had to yank my hand away from him and tell him to knock it off. So strange. Prior to that, as I was pausing my solo lunch and was composing a work email on my phone, the guy reached between my face and phone to grab my fork. I told him I wasnt done but he took it anyway, but left my knife and plate. Sigh. For the record, the place was dead right at noon and I was in a booth in back, working quietly on my phone, so I wasnt in breach of etiquette. Come for the curry, stay for the comedy.

Good location and ambience.Mediocre food. Some buffet items like chicken tikka masala and pulihora are decent, but I find most of the other buffet options overly spicy. People with a spicier palate may enjoy this, not to my taste and definitely not a favorite with kids owing to higher spice levels. A la carte fare is marginally better, decent indo-chinese food, though on the spicier side (even if we opt for mild spice level). Attached Indian style bakery is a much better experience. If there was an option to review it separately, I would rate it at 4. Wide variety of pastry flavors with delicious eggless options available. I have even ordered birthday cake here and it was significantly better than standard grocery store cakes.

The two starts i have was for the some previous good experiences!!! I used to come almost every week, sometimes twice a week, due to my craving for dosas!!! The service is getting worst woth my each experience now a days!! I waited for my appetizer for almost an hour and than when i asked for, was told that they forgot to write down that order( though they have ipads for order and not a paper).. and that was not it, i ordered my dinner at the same time i ordered appetizer.. and when i asked after almost 2 hoirs waiting, the reason they gave me was.."mam, its too mess up in the kitchen, sorry abt the wait" and i eneded up loosing my patience!! They have definitely good food(dosas) but not enough and active staff!!

Let me summarize my visit last Saturday night. - Wait time was really bad.15 mins to get a table, another 20-25 mins to take order and another 15-20 mins to deliver. They definitely need to hire more people. - Inexperience of Host/servers. I guess most of that comes up with initial days of a new restaurant. They forgot to give flatware and plates to us even after the food was served. - And finally the most important part, Food..and it was tasty! Liked the Indo-Chinese items and Biriyani, though the serving portions were a little lesser than similar Indian restaurants around. Overall the tasty food will make us to visit again and expecting faster and better service in future.

I ordered veg puffs, Alu chilly puffs, bhel Puri and pav bhaji through online. When I went there to pick up they showed me a record that I didnt order pav bhaji then I had to find proof that did order and pay for pav bhaji. They were short of veg puffs too. Bhel Puri tasted ok, veg and Alu puffs tasted bland, worst thing they heated the puff in a microwave and served one to me. It was oily and spongy, tasted bland probably a shame to call it Indian puff. Gave some pastries instead of pav bhaji, which tasted ok. Overall pretty bad take out experience, especially when you are super hungry to pick up some evening snacks

I came here by driving 20 miles just because my colleague referred. But total disappointment, not at all worth. I came here for lunch buffet and surprised to see the plate size. It was very small and we are intelligent enough to guess why that small. Not enough options in lunch buffet No starters- common they have just chicken kabab which they say as starter ; total disappointment. All most all the dishes will be always empty and we have to wait for a long time to get them filled back. Gave 2 stars just for the taste, thank god food is not that bad but again not so good enough

Vegetarians- This is an ok place. My first visit here and I was excited... The food menu is about average... Spice and salt levels are next to bland for most of the items... Like the daal vada felt like daal with a tinge of salt in it... I did not find a good veggie starter... Naan and curries were just about okay... Lastly the only item I found perfect was the Rasam with about the right amount of spice and zeera that titilates the nostrils... Again for a vegetarian this place is average... Visit if you have no other options...
