I Saw a man eating an avocado. I didnt like it so I started Fire Roasting him. Now Im here. Dont know how I got here, but I cant get home. Must have been the Fire Roasts. Someone help. UPDATE: I still cant get home, no matter where I turn, Fire roast cafe is on the same block. Ive been Here for three days now and coffee is getting kind of old. I should try a different direction tomorrow, not four lefts. UPDATE 2: Sorry I have not been posting, it has been a year since my last post and I am sick now. It is the first time because these crumpets have kept my immune system high, but there is no medicine here, only 4.6 star service! Ill Update you later. UPDATE 3: Tis bean 4 yeers, loosing tyiping abiilrty. Louw Meantel Stemulashun Es Taaring My Braain apart. Goiing too WiiKiiHoww To lern Hoiw to Tiype agen. UPDATE 4: Learned how to type through the plethora of WikiHow articles and now I am fairly educated. Still havent gone any direction except four lefts. Coffee is getting old and Dark thoughts are entering my mind. I need help. FINAL UPDATE: I am dying. I have been measuring my heart rate and it is slowing. Soon it will stop. I am 42 now, and entered this place 28 years ago. It is now my home. BUT I WANT TO BURN IT DOWN. In conclusion, do not Fire Roast anyone. You will suffer for 28 years in this cafe. Except Jennifer Lawrence. Please Jennifer Lawrence I need human contact. ALL IN ALL: I WOULD GIVE THIS A 5 STAR RATING FOR SERVICE AND STAFF ALIKE. ANY GREAT COFFEE LOVER HAS TO VISIT HERE SOMETIME. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT COFFEE. THANKS FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I just discovered this wonderful cafe yesterday. I live only a few blocks away from the place but did not know it existed until I googled for a coffee shop nearby. I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in. Its cozy and gets tons of light. My husband & I sat there for almost 5 hours working and really enjoyed the space. The coffee & baked goods were yummy. I havent yet tried anything on the menu yet. The owner did mention that he was trying to start a board games night on Fridays, which sounds exciting. I left feeling very happy and warm because it was such a great space to hang out. Overall, a great find. Ill definitely be back! Update on 1/6/14: the owner contacted me after my review to let me know that they do have GF bread for any of their sandwiches, which is a winner for me. So, it is now a 5 star coffee shop for me :)

Very tasty avocados, I have to love the coffee as well. Fun place to pull out some roasts too ;) However, a man tried to roast me which made me feel very uncomfortable. Not sure what happened to him, he seemed to be having some panic attacks and a strong addiction for FireRoast Cafe coffee. Overall, very nice, while youre grabbing a coffee try an avocado from the salad bar! Just a followup, I do have to agree with Logan, the herbal tea was very good. Would post a smiling avocado emoji, but since I cant I just have to say: definitely 5 stars :)

Keep in mind I am only speaking to the quality of the espresso, any coffee shops cornerstone. OK I dont want to sound like a ranter but come on! I felt obligated to comment, as a previous posters review led me here. What a douche that guy was. So, this double abomination, served in a tanker size mug, was around 5oz of liquid (no there wasnt 35g in the portafilter) and I cant say with certainty, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 275F. Burned lips and coffee was a real culinary double whammy. However, they have a great atmosphere.

This place is great, Ive been twice this weekend and plan to keep up my trend. I love coffee but I Hate strong tasting coffee, sorry Meets :). Fireroast Cafe makes coffee just right for my taste and it doesnt come blistering hot either which I also like. I also have to second Diana in saying the guys that work there are definitely mi clientele! Food or snacks would be a nice option. See you soon Fireroast Cafe!!!

I had a great experience at this cute neighborhood coffee shop. Even though the grill was closed when I visited, the owner made an exception and cooked me food anyway. The chicken quesadilla was delicious, and when the cook mentioned that he had accidentally included the wrong ingredients, he offered to make me a new one. I declined, so he comped me a cookie. This is a great place, and I will be back.

I love this place. Every time I visit this wonderful cafe, the owner and staff greet me by name and know some of my favorite drinks and eats. (ice tea, gluten free peanut butter cookies and amazing homemade soup) It’s the perfect place to relax, do some work or just meet friends for lunch or coffee. Try it and I guarantee you’ll like it, maybe even love it and make it your new hang :).

Two out-of-this-world favorites here: coffee floats (ice cream in coffee: why has no one done this before?!) and the rosemary chicken salad sandwich. Wasnt very impressed with the presentation, but one bite of that sandwich and I no longer cared. Hands down the best chicken salad I have ever had. Lovely strong rosemary flavor, fresh tasting chicken, and perfect texture.

When new ownership took over a few years ago, I was afraid that theyd erase the funky, artsy, cozy ambiance of the place. Well, they sort of did but replaced it with an upbeat, modern vibe thats still very cozy and intimate even though the tables are close together and youre never far away from anyone. Sill a delightful, refreshing stop in the neighborhood.

Their coffee, especially macchiatos are some of the best! Their other drinks too, are very exceptional and may even surpass that of Sook, a cafe in the area. Ah well. Although, I must say, there were two men eating avocados, one very disheveled that appeared to have been there for about 28 years and the other had had fire spit into his face.

Ive been here a 3 times now. Great atmosphere inside and outside. Cortado was great, lemonade refreshing and the bacon breakfast sandwich was delicious. Hasnt been crowded when I was there. When I was there in the afternoon I saw many people come in to get ice cream, Im going to have to try one soon. Maybe with a shot of espresso on it.

I love their herbal tea here, best Ive ever had. Definitely recommend it. Funny story: I was once sipping some chai herbal tea sitting in a chair near the window and across the room I saw someone spitting fire at a man who was calmly eating some avocado. Not sure what happened to either of them but wow that tea was good. 5/5

The smiling avocados were zesty af. Definitely try the hard boiled avocados. The pit tasted like shrooms. :P The herbal made me very zen. North Korea sent a nuke but the herbal tea protected my peers and I. Now I post this review to half send a survivor warning and to half tell the survivors how good the tea is.

Jeff Fisher has put a ton of work and energy into turning this location around the last 5 years. In addition, the coffee is excellent; Jeff is a great community member that often donates to local community events; and it is a laid back, relaxing place to spend time with friends. Kudos to you, Fireroast Cafe!
