You just cant beat the Blue Moon. Ive been living a few blocks away from it since its inception so many years ago. I must say- its a great place for almost anything-- chilling out and relaxing alone--- getting some homework done-- meeting with a friend for quiet, serious conversation-- meeting with colleagues to work on a project-- or going on a date-- its cool, (and often has really attractive baristas) but non-judgemental, not pretenious. And the lattes are excellent.

Reading the reviews, this sounded like a really great shop to experience. Unfortunately it was far from that; service was barely existent, slow and completely unengaged. The coffee was disappointing, on the same level as a low level starbucks. I dont feel like this is the everyday experience, because the shop itself has a great colourful decor and it was fairly busy, but definitely not an experience worth going out of the way for.

Very pleasant coffee shop. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is top notch. They usually have a tastey selection of cookie, cakes, bars, and such. It can, however, be one of the quietest coffee shops Ive experienced. While not bad, if youre planning to meet someone for a chat, you can feel a bit out of place. Otherwise, great place.

Carmel Mocha, Is my favorite thing at this place I always get one on my way back from a run or just riding around on my bike. Janis and I like to sit here at do a little bit of internet searching in our free time which we have a lot of. The wi-fi is pretty good and I will always get my mochas from here when I am around.

I dont love the food choices, but this is my favorite cafe nonetheless. All are welcome--and theres usually a sign on the door saying just that. Families of all kinds often spend a Sunday playing one of the many board games available. The table lamps and rotating artwork make the atmosphere both cozy and fun.

Blue Moon is a very nice, cute little place that is right in my neighborhood, the prices are great and the food and drinks are incredible! They always have such great service and it is a very friendly environment. I would defiantly recommend to go here! I for one love it!

This place is reliably quiet and friendly and makes good coffee. Theyre also among the few places with a Thai Coffee on the menu that can make it well. An East Lake Street institution whos quality and experience has held since my first visit in the mid 90s.

A bright little beacon of sanity with comfy seating, plenty of electrical outlets, reliable wifi, great tea selection, tasty baked goods, and friendly ambience. A great place to read, visit, or get some work done. Highly recommended.

WiFi is always solid. Great mix of folks. Good place to set up work on a laptop alone but also a fun place to grab coffee with a friend. Yummy snacks. Awesome teas and special seasonal drinks. Staff is kind and quick.
