I came to order carry-out last Wednesday and ordered a vermicelli salad with eggrolls (bun cha gio). I asked the lady if she had spoken Vietnamese and she did. She asked me if it were okay that my food would take 20 minutes to make and I told her it was no problem at all. She told me to have a seat and get comfortable while I wait for my food. I left a tip on the charge slip, but noticed today on my bank account that she never took it. She seemed very grateful for every customer that walked in, just how every business should be. I left with my (what felt like) a 10 pound box of food. When I opened the box, it was packed to the brim with delicious goodness. I wish I could rate this restaurant with more stars, but I cant. I had to split my box into three meals because it was so much food. I will definitely return for the wonderful service.

Two stars, and I am being generous. The food is decent quality, but they are using cheap filler ingredients, such as celery in everything and a lot of noodles. The sauces are tasty, but they do not rotate the selection ever. I have been there many times and the food selection as ALWAYS the same. To try and mix things up I decided to get Pho and it was a mistake. The pho was bland and needed a lot of doctoring up to make even moderately palatable. I have not had anything other than these two selections, so perhaps their regular menu items are more redeeming. The buffet is alright if you only go twice a year; it will seem new. Suggestion to management: rotate the buffet items and use them as an opportunity to showcase your specialties. It might motivate people like me to order off the menu instead of visiting other places.

It is near my office so we get take out often for lunch and I pick it up to take home for dinner too. Flavors and quality are good and portions are large - definitely shareable or for leftovers. Favorites: Chicken Pho (still the best I have had anywhere and I try it other places), House Special Lomein, Pork with Peapods, Mongolian Beef, Steamed dumplings. I like spicy so if you ask, they will make it hot! Owner is so nice and has an amazing memory...she always remembers everyones names and what food they like. Even though she has never met my kids and has only heard me say what dishes they like -- when I place a to go order, based on what is in it, she says things like oh your daughter must be home from college. Always impresses me.

I usually dont do reviews but this was a bad experience. Ive had take out orders take about 25-30 minutes to come out, but this is my first bad dine in experience. Instead of going for the buffet (which I wish we had) I decided we would check out their pho. My girlfriend and I were the first two people there and yet it took roughly 30-35 minutes to come out... really? On top of that the pho was way too bland for my taste. Chicken wings and steamed pork dumplings were mediocre. I would suggest you go elsewhere for pho. Maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant. Good place to go to lunch for buffet, but Im going to have to pass on the pho and waiting times.

Ive been eating at this place since I was just a toddler. My grandmother loved the food, my mother loves it and so do I. My grandmother used to order from here several times a month. When young I used to go to the buffet with my family very frequently. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I love the pad Thai. Ive moved across the country multiple times and This is always a first stop when I get back to Minnesota. Now that I live farther away from it I dont get it as much but I still make a point when in the area to get some take out. The owner remembers me by name, and my whole family. Always asks how we are doing and is very caring.

The Caravelle on Little Canada Rd has the very best Asian buffet I have ever tasted. The selection is not so large as some buffets, having only 10-12 steamer trays, but the quality of what they offer is first rate. The service is better than most buffets, in that they seat you at tables already set with silverware and bring your drinks. The lady who runs the place will greet you when you enter. If youve been there before, she will remember your name, your drink preferences, and any special requests that you may have had. I have never been to a buffet, other than this one, where Ive felt so welcomed or so valued as a customer.

I generally order takeout from here, and rarely dine in. The owner is always very nice and remembers my name and what I like to order. The food is always fresh and the vegetables are nice and crunchy. It is a small hole in the wall place, but I am happy with the variety of food offered. The Vietnamese egg rolls are second to none. Their special combination, which is an main course, fried rice, and egg roll is a great deal for the large portian received. The pho always feels good after a wild night. I only wished they opened on Sunday, because I typically like to eat out after Church.

I called and after I placed my order they told me she couldnt tell me my price than hung up in my face. Than I went and picked up my food she yelled at me saying 10 more minutes just wait. Than when I got my food it had big chicken pieces in my fried and the rice was white manly and disgusting. I also told her thats not what I ordered she told me to go on go lol rude ass place of business so nasty I wasted all my food. Than their spring rolls was slimey Never will I ever go back their Yuk

Skip the lunch buffet. This place is close to work so we come here frequently. If there is one piece of advice I can give you, order food off the menu instead of hitting the buffet. Their food ordered from the menu has generous portions and is fairly good tasting. Is it the best food youll eat this month? Certainly not, but the buffet is always bland and mediocre. If you are looking for a decent lunch that isnt fast food in Little Canada, this is a decent option.

I love eating at Caravelle. They have the best service ever! Dont go here if youre looking for a quick meal. They make your experience about the food. It will come out hot, fresh, and delicious. I love their pho especially. Always have leftovers, which are even more yummy the next day. I have only been here a few times as I go with relatives who live close by, but the owner always makes sure to greet us by our names, which is rare now days.

How does this place have so many 5 stars? You guys are f#!@ng nuts. Outside of the building is kept up nice which is very misleading. Inside is teeming with cobwebs and filth. It stinks, and would imagine a health inspection would not bode well. Cant imagine what the kitchen looks like. Food was completely bland and processed crap. Waited 45+ minutes for takeout with a total of 2 occupied tables in the restaurant. Garbage.
