Working very close to Ho Ting, myself and staff have probably eaten there at least 100 times in the last year. My observations: very nice family, young guy "David" will make fabulous recommendations....but you have to ask, buffet is fairly good....for the price, place can get busy over lunch........yes, dishes not on buffet are even better............made to order. Try hot tea when you go..........olong is the best! There family definetly can make supreme food, using better ingredients, but you would have to pay more. I like their business plan. Buy a more expensive dish off of the menu to see!

Summary - slightly below average American-Chinese buffet. Went here for a lunch buffet. Place is tiny, as was the buffet. Was fairly busy, but noticed several bad signs: - Food slots in buffet were sitting empty, and werent refilled until I was leaving - Only one guy providing customer service (greater, waiter, bus-ing tables, filling buffet) On the up side, while there wasnt a wide selection, most of the food was of average or better quality. Probably wont be back for a lunch buffet - plenty of better options around.

Best Chinese food Ive ever had!!! Cant speak highly enough about the food and service. The food is cooked fresh made to order. Owner is outstanding, friendly, outgoing, and personable! We ordered the steamed potstickers, pork egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, chicken lo mein, general tsao chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was superior!! We will not be going anywhere else for Chinese food, this is our hot spot. And they deliver!!

staff was nice. Price for quality of food was WAY too much. $55.00 for 2 main dishes and one appetizer. could only choose small or large size. no clear definition of what those sizes meant. food was prepared in a much different fashion than normal would I recommend this to a friend.NO. unless you are someone with a lot of excess funds. Should have known what we were in for. we were the only ones in this small space.

This restaraunt is not a good value at all food was bland and didnt have much variety or fresh vegetables. Fried rice was poor and not up to my usual standards. Not to mention it was overpriced I can get the same amount of food plus a side of egg roll or wontons for $2 cheaper at the Chinese restaraunt I am used to not to mention the food is way better. Not recommended Lee Ann Chins is a better option than this place.

It feels funny writing a 5 for a restaurant that is not super excellent Chinese Food. Yet it is super excellent for what it does. The food is very well prepared, my kids love the non-spicy tangerine chicken and the cream cheese wontons. I like the Cashew Chicken and I think their egg rolls are excellent. Overall they only thing they could do better would be to deliver.

I gave it a shot even though there were quite a few negative reviews. They were friendly and the wait time was great. I ordered the general tso chicken lunch and was not impressed. It tasted like they precooked the meat the night before and let it sit in the grease in the cold. Even the fried rice was a bit of a let down. I will probably not return any time soon.

We had Ho Ting for the first time last night, we spent over 55.00 for small orders of food with egg rolls. The sweet n sour tasted like candy, not sweet and sour. The fried rice tasted like it came out of a bag, not fried. The pricing is too high, the food is not good. I will never buy from them again. I will go drive some where else. We live in Eagan.

Called to order a Sesame Chicken with white rice lunch special with some cream puffs to go. Got there and the total was $19. Wow. EXPENSIVE! The seasons chicken was super soggy with no sesame seeds Egg roll had the old very preserved taste and the cheese puffs were ok. They did point out they gave end silverware which was straight up from WENDYs!

I wanted to like this place, because I have an inherent bias for small, family-owned Chinese restaurants... but going to the lunch buffet was a mistake. The food was decent, but almost always empty. Whenever the single server would bring out a dish, everyone would line up and hope to at least get a piece of the refill. Very, very disappointing.

I work near Ho Ting, and every time I have the chance to take a lunch there, I take it. Their food is marvelous; fresh and delicious. Their cream cheese puffs are some of the best Ive ever had. I havent had a better lunch buffet, and at less than $9 for as much as you can eat + a drink, I wouldnt recommend anywhere else in the area.

Ho Ting is fantastic, we order take out 2-3 times per month...only problem, it is addicting. This is a suburban gem for Chinese takeout. It is not an exaggeration when people say "best Chinese ever" The food is consistently top notch! We highly recommend the Sa-Cha Chicken and/or the Mo Shu Chicken...lunch buffet is great too.

Scott and I have had take-out and eat-in meals here many times over. The ingredients are fresh and dishes are well seasoned. You can ask for mild, medium or spicy. The shrimp items are especially delicious. Judy is friendly and kind! Better quality for the price. We support small independent businesses whenever we can!

Seriously great Chinese food. Im so happy to have found the nearby about a year ago. Their sesame chicken is especially delicious -- its not very spicy, but it is the best! Their lunch buffet is also good -- not the greatest service during the buffet, but for the price and the quality of food, its good overall.

I ordered a dinner for two with appetizers. The total was close to $50. We didnt even have left-overs for the next day. The fried rice has no vegetables in it. The cream cheese wantons are small and have no taste. The cashier promised the food would be good; it was sub-par. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!

Overpriced. I buy something for &9.59 using my card but they said it must be $10 to use the card. I told them I dont have cash and tried to push me to buy rice or soda which I dont need. Come on only 40 cent. They not let me buy it. Come on

Not sure, I called 20 times over a 45 minute stretch during the middle of the day and no one would answer. No online ordering either. So basically they refuse to my order. What a joke. Either get into 2017 or get out of the business. yikes.

BEST Pork Fried Rice in Eagan/Woodbury/Eden Prairie! I also appreciate that they are happy to customize my order. Consistently pleasant staff, quick service, hot and tasty food. My take-out treat to myself every Saturday.

Ho Ting is very good. Weve been ordering delivery and take-out from them for over 3 years and have had no complaints. Food is very good and the people, both in store and delivery, are very nice and fun to talk to.

Was horrible rice was hard and cold, the chicken broccoli was nasty. The food tasted as if it was sitting for hours. I will never go there again I was mad I wasted my money because food went in trash.
