So, this place, to be honest, is how I judge every other dining experience. I just want to come out and say that at the beginning. I have had so many wonderful meals over the years at Punch, that I am forever grateful. When i say I judge every other restaurant by Punch I mean that if my normal Margarita Pizza with sausage is $7.50 and I eat out at, oh say, the Bachelor Farmer and my meal there costs $75, was that meal worth 10 Punch pizzas? Most likely not, and in the case of the Bachelor Farmer it wasnt even worth 1 Punch Pizza, but alas, Im turning negative. Punch Pizza is incredibly fresh, impossibly crisp and chewy at the same time. Theres just the right amount of sauce and toppings and the fresh mozzarella is to die for. They cook it in a wood fired oven for just 30 seconds at 850 degrees (Try doing that at home) which renders a crust unlike any that I can recreate. They take their pizza really seriously and even monitor barometric pressure for dough rising. We normally go and get the large Punch salad and one pizza and split it. I dont know much about the rest of the menu as I normally get the same thing every time. My kids like the Mimi pizza, but youll have to take their word on that. Punch was co-founded by John Puckett who started Caribou Coffee, so he knows his way around the business. Go and try Punch pizza and be ready to judge everyone else by them.

We received our approximately 10" pizzas practically by the time we filled our drink cups and found a place to sit (you order when you first come in) -- so perhaps 2-3 minutes. The brick oven is set to 800 degrees and produces a thin crust that is soft & chewy, and black (burnt) around the edges. Being so thin, it is relatively easy to eat the whole thing. The basic pizzas cost about $5. Anything with more than just cheese will cost $10+. The added ingredients do not add much to the overall weight. I found the flavor OK, but it certainly didnt have a punch. The sauce was thin and therefore it was difficult to discern much of any flavor. The toppings were again spartan and didnt enhance the flavor measurably (perhaps the idea was that the toppings would not be overwhelmed by the sauce). I had wished I had ordered the sausage, hoping that might have helped. If you like very subtle flavors, you may enjoy this. Given the light amount of ingredients, they would do better to use those that have a strong flavor for the cheeses and meats. Some fresh (or baked) fennel, basil or garlic would really help liven things up. All in all, it was worth trying, but it was over-priced and under-flavored. From others I have talked to, either they really like it, or they arent terribly impressed. I was hoping for better.

Best authentic Italian style pizza chain, hands down. Ive been to other style pizza places, and none of them come near to the quality that Punch pizza so easily delivers. Dont be put off by the fact that this is a chain - theyre a chain because theyre successful, and theyre successful because they know how to make some darn good pizza. This is really the only pizza place where all I order is a standard cheese pizza, because it doesnt even need anything else to be amazing. The crust is so perfectly charred on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Their tomato sauce is just perfect. Everything is excellent quality. This is not only some of the best tasting pizza Ive ever had, but its also among the healthiest pizzas calorie-wise. If youre visiting Minnesota and dont have Punch pizza where you live, I would HIGHLY recommend giving it a try. They have multiple locations to choose from, and theyre all equally delicious.

Just cant say enough good things about this small restaurant and the quality of its food. Some of my favorite pizza anywhere... and I eat a lot of it. Definitely a gem for Eden Prairie. If youre a fan of Neapolitan pizza, or even if youre not, I gotta believe youre walking out of here very happy. I love that they serve "half beers" for under $2 for people who are waiting for takeout pies... just something I havent seen before that makes you feel like they are catering to their customers.

I love the pizza here. We go regularly. The wood fire taste is delicious and they are fast. The one time they screwed up my pizza, they made it again without even brining it out and having me complain. They also gave me a free pizza without any prompt or questions. Probably the worst part is that because its such good food, its always busy and there isnt always a table available. Even that hasnt been a huge problem. 100% will continue to eat here.

Best italian pizza in town. I love a simple pizza--the margherita pizza at punch is amazing. So filling, so cheesy. Its oily, but in a good way. My meal here is always under $9, but thats because I keep it simple. Ive tried some of their fancier pizzas, but theyre just not for me. The staff at the Eden Prairie Punch is the BEST. Better than the other Punches in the Twin Cities.

Great pizza, but if you arrive on Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to order (before being seated at a table) and another 25 minutes to receive your pizza. They dont do take out or let you order ahead, so youll wait the full time whether you eat in or take away. And unless youre one of the lucky few, youll be standing.

I went to Punch not knowing what to expect or how to order. The manager, Kevin, assisted me in ordering and made my pizza himself. Kevin is an exceptional employee. Exhibiting grace and candor in his manner, I trusted him completely with my meal, and my life. I could taste the genuine effort in each bite of my perfectly crafted Neopolitan delight.

Punch Pizza is an "acquired taste". At first, its soggy, fork-needed pizza is a bit of a shocker. However, the delicious crust, yummy cheese, and casual atmosphere make up for the bland sauce. My favorite is the "Napoli" pizza. All in all, its pretty good, but for the best pizza in the West Metro, head on over to Joey Novas in Shorewood.

Am I the only one concerned that I did nothing with punch pizza other than swipe my card to pay and through credit card company wizardry, they now have my phone number and feel inclined to send me things such as this whether I have requested them or not. Please think about this in the future. I will not return if this is your sop

The place used to be one of the few offering wood fire baked pizza. Lately, their quality has gone down. Theres hardly any toppings on the pizza. They also do not take phone orders for take out and you have to wait atleast 20 mins to get your pizza. Probably there are other better options around.

Excellent euro style pizzas reminds me of the ones I fell in love with when I vacationed in europe. They offer pricey topping options but I personally prefer the simple Margharita for taste and value. They also serve excellent salads and you get free spiced pizza dough bread with every order.
