$29 for an hour of bowling, not including shoe rental. WOW EXPENSIVE. Run the other big bowling alley in town out of business and then jack up the prices. This weekend myself and 2 friends bowled for 45 minutes (the shut your game off exactly when your time runs out, in 15-minute intervals) and two of us had $3 shoe rentals. No drinks and our bill was $13 PER PERSON. ... for 45 minutes? Were not amazing bowlers so we *only* finished 1 full game and 7 frames into the 2nd one before our lane got shut off. Nice. On a positive note, the arcade was fun. My girlfriend could be entertained there for hours! Also, like stated by others, I dont necessarily mind a waitress coming to your table and asking if you want drinks, but Im not going to tip you for the 10 seconds time... so the fact that Perfect Games sets out these table card holder things (at EVERY table) which state "it is polite and proper to tip 15-20% if the service your waitress provided was positive" is aggravating to say the least. To top it off, on checkout your receipt you must sign at the register has a blank line for "tip". Fat chance!!

This place is completely overpriced, and going here is NOT worth it. Nothing special compared to any other bowling alley but wayyy more expensive. Dont waste your money. I bowled 1 game, rented shoes, and split 1 pitcher of beer with 3 other friends last weekend, and our total was $11 per person. Ive been here a few other times too, and with or without beer, its too expensive. The "waitresses" that come over to your bowling table and bother you asking if they can get you a beer are useless and oftentimes rude; I can walk over to the bar and buy one myself thanks. And then I dont have to waste more money and give you a tip. Seriously, if you want to bowl in Ames, go to the MU or go to one of the nearby small towns alleys...unless you want to get nickled and dimed for everything at Perfect Games. The MU doesnt have the best lanes, but they charge way less for bowling AND beer.

Its a good place to go with a group of friends. Today we ate Pizza, played mini golf, and played in the arcade while waiting for Lazer tag. The only reason I didnt give it a five star is because I was playing the hunting game in the arcade and was upset to find half dressed girls dancing on the screen as I waited between shooting rounds. I enjoy shooting bucks, but I dont enjoy seeing womens bodies used to attract an adult/teen male audience. Women and children like to go hunting too. Signed, a woman.

Love the Fly Me to the Moon Pizza (taco)! Looking forward to trying other specialty pizzas. The arcade and laser tag were very fun. I like that there are bumpers on the bowling alleys for the young kids. We took a group of six kids and two adults for a birthday party. We walked away with full bellies, and a lot of memories for a very affordable price. The party hostess kept order to our chaos and was very attentive to our needs. I will keep this place in mind when planning our next big get together.

We have never been when all the games are working, and its usually the games we like most that are out of commission. Also, the volume on some games is unnecessarily loud, even for all the commotion. We never bowled or ate here, so I cant speak to that. We only visited on Sundays for half price games. (But only for card-swipe games, tokens arent half off), since theyre otherwise overpriced. The prizes are pretty decent, especially compared to other arcades weve been to recently.

Ive gone there several times. If you are a serious bowler, forget it with those lanes. The oil on the lanes is hit or miss. The service has always been TERRIBLE. Servers texting all the time while the beer I ordered is getting warm by at the bar. The place would be awesome if it had better management or they took more than 30 seconds to train the staff. I like going there to bowl because there is no smoking, but I have never actually left satisfied. Good luck!

They offer bowling, laser tag, an arcade and food. Bowling: medium-sized selection of lanes. Laser tag: lower quality equipment and facilities. But little wait times so you can play a lot. Arcade: Pretty good selection of games. The prizes (like most places) however, are cheap quality and break easily. Food: Only ate the pizza and I was pretty bad pizza. Dont eat it if you have the choice. I think the cost was reasonable.

Its big, its new and really clean. Theres lots for the kids to do and everyone else too. The kids liked the pizza and burgers and there was a good variety of other stuff on the menu. We bowled free using our Kids Bowl Free coupons and then played laser tag. Its better than Incredible Pizza and worth the trip from Des Moines.

Just say no to synthetic approaches. I thought Nationals in Reno was bad, but this place takes the cake. Ive bowled on some pretty crappy lanes but for as nice as this place is, the lanes are horrible! Id rather go back to Ottumwa where the lanes were *rippled*. Next year Im taking my straight ball.

Long line on a Saturday night at 10 pm. Fun place - music, lights and VIP lanes -- if a little pricey ($4 tap beer + $5 games) but they advertised several special deals like $2 games on a 2 for Tuesdays. Lanes were great and we had to put on our shoe sliders but that was fine. Hubby bowled 191!

Had a party for my sons Bday and it was a mess! Bowling lanes wouldnt work correctly, pizza was undercooked, paid for more people than were allowed to play laser tag. Attempted multiple times to contact a manager and no one would take my call or call me back. Never going back!

Our daughter had her birthday party here and LOVED it! We had our own party room - the pizza was great and the girls had a ball bowling & the laser tag was a BIG hit. I would highly recommend this place for a party or just night out with great entertainment..

This place is slightly more elevated than a regular bowling alley. There is a small restaurant, a full bar, arcade, pool tables, & lazer tag. We ordered a pizza and it was very good. I plan on coming back real soon.

This a great place for a family friendly outing or event. We tried the mini golf and the course is fun. Seems a little price, but overall we enjoyed it. Love the arcade, bowling, laser tag, etc. Good food as well.

Great bowling atmosphere with the benefit of a pizzeria and bar, and arcade games. Two alleys to segregate younger and older crowds. Best to call ahead to check wait on weekends as it can get very busy.

The games are cheap. 19 cents for kids? Great. The pizza is pretty good. Try the Scarface. Very yummy. They have sooo many deals, its easy to get free pizza or bowling if you plan it right.
