Full disclosure: this was with a group of about 10 that was inexplicably sat in the bar area (not our choice) around 9pm on a weekend. Service was painfully slow (about 15-20 minutes to place a drink order, another 15 to receive drinks after the order, ten to place our meal order, and 36 minutes to receive food). Ordinarily these times wouldnt be ideal, but we watched other tables place their orders, get their food, pay and leave before we got our appetizers, making it all the more frustrating. The waitstaff seemed as on top of things as they could have been, but our server appeared to have more tables than they were perhaps comfortable serving at one time. When we could get a hold of them, they were friendly and helpful, especially the hostess, who offered to fetch the manager. The food was good, what I expected, and filling. I was just very disappointed in the speed of service during my visit. I intend to contact the corporate office, a gentleman I believe was the manager came to the table and helped clear dishes, but did not seem aware of the delays, or didnt want to bring them up, and by that point I wanted to just get home! Ill update this review if I hear back from them.

UNBELIEVABLE! It was my first time ever at an Old Chicago, we were celebrating my nieces first birthday. It was a Friday night and it was packed. The hosts were so warm and friendly. Our server, Serjio (Spelling?) was amazing and didnt care one bit that we had a 1 year old smearing cake all over the table, (dont worry, I cleaned up!) The other servers in the restaurant always smiled when they walked by and complimented the birthday girl. The manager (awesome Irish accent) stopped by to ask if we needed the cake refrigerated. I had to speak with him before leaving and tell him how amazing his staff is. People always take time to leave bad reviews for places but rarely take the time to leave good ones. HERES a well deserved positive review! The food was phenominal and the customer service knocked me off of my feet.

OC was our favorite place. We had a large group go tonight and everyone was disappointed in the food. They have changed their menu and though we did appetizers and personal pizzas they were not that great. Example I got a sm. Pizza with sausage, ricotta, and provolone. The use to have blobs of ricotta and this time they placed it over the whole pizza as well as basically the pizza was cold. We also got Italian nachos and they put it on a pizza place most of the cheese was melted onto the paper on the plate not the chips. And the worse they changed their cookie so it’s choc chip and oatmeal, I don’t want warm oatmeal that for breakfast. It is no longer our place to go and we are done not only for happy hours but for regular nights out as well.

We came towards the end of their dinner rush and the sat us at a dirty table. We waited 10 minutes for a waitress to come to our table before we grabbed our own menus and about 5 minutes before our waitress came to greet us. It took about 10 minutes to get our drinks. Our food took another 45 minutes after we ordered. Our order was confused as well. My meat me calzone ingredients were confused with my friends build your own calzone. I had his veggies and he had my meat despite the difference in the garnishings.

Great pizza and amazing appetizers. They have an Around the World beer flight tour where you keep track of your beer flights over multiple visits with dozens of varieties to track. Great for a casual family night out and perfect for happy hour drinks and appetizers after work. The Italian nachos are phenomenal and the calzones are huge & delicious. If you like really spicy food their wings are very flavorful and you can order to your heat level for both sauce and dry rub.

This is a restaurant and location that does a lot of things well. Service is always good, and the beer selection is routinely one of the best in the area. The pizza is prepared and topped well. The taste never disappoints. And the bar food is consistently a crowd pleaser. In the summer the patio is a nice option. But admittedly youre not looking over a mountain canyon or anything like that. ;)

My wife and I frequent this location for late night happy hour. For some reason we find most Eden Prairie restaurants have consistently terrible service, but not here. We have be coming for several years and find the staff to always be attentive and friendly. The food is your typical bar food but always meets our expectations. And, of course, great beer selection.

The food and drinks are good, the service was less than good service. The paper with the list was thrown away before we were even called on a busy night, the plate was dirty still, the menu had a lime in it, the menu was also stuck together by gross stuff on one of the pages, and our waiter forgot our drinks to begin with. Not the best place for quality service

Old Chicago is always a great place to grab some food or a couple drinks. It was pretty empty when I went on a weekday, so I was surprised at how slow the service was. Despite that, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. They have a huge beer selection, which is a huge bonus to any restaurant. I highly recommend their pizza!

I have had some excellent service here, and I have had some less than stellar experiences. They tend to change their happy hour a lot, at least the late night one. Sometimes they have incredible deals, but they do not last very long. If you like Old Chicago and you are in Eden Prairie, there is no reason to fear this location.

The Old chicago in Eden Pairie USED to be our place to go, great food and servers. Now after there awful idea to remodel and change the menu, we went once after the change and wont go back!! Took the best apps off the menu and happy hour is worse!! The look of remod not bad but horrible idea on the menu change and prices!!

Used to come here all the time, but when OC decided to reformat itself definitely took a big downgrade removing some of the better apps off the menu. They decided to up the price on everything. Now there are much better places to go for the money. Bigtime fail with the revamp. Wont be coming back anytime soon.

They gave us a buzzer for our dinner table and 30 minutes later I went to check and they gave it to another party without stepping outside to call us in. They blamed the buzzer, but who knows. Luckily there were a few tables open, so we got right in after they apologized. Good pizza and beer. :)

Crowded place on a weekend. We had placed a pick up order. It was a busy night. We had ordered keg of wings. You can order 2 flavors in this - we tried Jamaican jerk and Thai one. Thai one is very spicy. Served with celery, carrots and ranch/bleu cheese. Good amount of wings are there in this.

Ive read all the positive reviews on Yelp, wanted a late margarita, and decided why not. The place is amazing for real! Great drinks, excellent service, easy workday evening atmosphere. Wow. Too bad I havent discovered it four years earlier. Will be back and you should come check it out too.
