Id been meaning to try this place out, but our family had gotten into a routine - my wife loves Panera, and the kids love their Mac & Cheese, so thats our "go to" in the area. Im not really enthralled with Panera myself, so I would typically duck out and run down to Smashburger for a Spicy Baja burger and Smash fries, which like much better. This last time, though, I had eaten at Smashburger just a week ago, and was in the mood for something different. Im a bit of a pizza aficionado (some say snob), so it was time to try Solos. I am SO glad I did. This place is awesome, and if you care to read on, Ill tell you why: 1) Individual offerings - the "personal pan" pizza seems to be a lost art nowadays. Its either too small or too expensive, or simply too restrictive - i.e., if you want a personal pan, you can choose cheese or pepperoni, but thats it. Not here! Solos focuses on a perfectly sized and priced personal pizza. 2) Speed - another downfall of other personal pizzas is it takes to long. Solos typically gets their pizza to you in 5 minutes or less! 3) Variety - Solos has a variety of really good and interesting specialty pizzas (although I was sad to see the Mac & Cheese pizza was retired). 4) Mello Yello - ok, this one is probably just me, but Im addicted to Mello Yello, and it is sometimes hard to find. 5) Taste - this is really the big one: Solos pizza tastes awesome. The crust is a perfectly golden "original" (i.e., not thin or deep dish) crust, and the toppings are first rate. 6) Cookie! - this is just icing on the cake, but when I checked in on Foursquare, I was rewarded with a free cookie! And it was a good cookie, not the bland prepackaged stuff you get from a store. Also, they have a "kids eat free" deal if youre part of their club, so maybe I can even lure the kids away from Panera sometime... Of course, everyones different, and pizza preferences vary wildly. But this place is definitely in my top list of Twin Cities pizza places, and I will be back.

I am a regular here at the Eagan location and I give it five stars. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in the store with a kind "welcome to solos". The staff is very kind and helpful during the ordering process. You can choose from any of the favs or make your own. There is a lot of variety to choose from. They also have salads, soups, and sandwiches as well as pizza of course. The pricing us appropriate for their delicious food. There is a new coca cola freestyle drink machine in the store so you can choose any flavor combination you wish. They serve your order right to your table. The pizza cooks from the inside out in a 470 degree oven, making it a fast and easy process. The entire store is clean, and the crew is constantly cleaning and prepping to make the store look the best. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is a pizza lover!!!

This is my favorite pizza place by far. Nothing is close and definitely not a place like Pizza Hut or Dominos. The build your own pizza option is great too. Fresh, delicious ingredients and the crust is perfect. You get your food almost immediately after getting your soda which is a cool machine that has almost every flavor imaginable. Staff greet you and are very friendly and if you havent been there before they help you out. If I could I would give it 6 stars

Really disappointed. Asked for the bruchetta salad and they did not have it, I then opted for the chopped chicken. This salad is well below average. The chicken is questionable at best, there I pieces I just will not eat. The dressing is not particularly appealing in my opinion. Positives were, the lettuce seemed of decent quality. Overall, there was nothing to my experience that would make me want to visit again or recommend to others.

Awesome customer service I ordered a pizza online and went to pick it up, but it wasnt done yet. The manager was working the front line and apologized for the delay and offered me a free soda, which I politely declined. It took only 5 minutes for the pizza to be ready. Then before I left he gave me two free sandwich tokens. The pizza was great, the staff were very nice, and overall wonderful service. Will definitely be returning!

This pizza was the best I have ever had! My husband and I went here and we both got different ones but both were delicious. The best part was they were not too greasy at all. The staff wasnt great and they didnt have clean dishes so we had to use plastic utensils and they had to scrounge for cups (even though they were not busy at all when we came in). The only reason I gave them a 4-star because the food was sooooo amazing.

Although my first experience here was not very pleasant, I gave Solos another shot after hearing from President of the company Brian Banick. He reached out to me and personally apologized because I posted a negative review. I am so impressed with his leadership and in his desire to improve. The second and third visits to Solos was delicious and the staff were very accommodating! Solos has won us back as customers :)

I never thought personal pan pizzas would taste so good! They have an excellent choice of delicious pizzas for everyone (meat, vege, spicy) The service is excellent and the wait time is less than 5 mins, every time. The large pizza size (10") is the perfect lunch size (with drink of course). Sign up for their email coupons and get $ off. Only complaint, not enough outdoor chairs.

Had the worst experience ever here today. Ordered a 10" pizza over the phone, picked it up during my lunch break, drove all the way back to work, and realized there were more than 4 pieces of hair pretty much baked into my pizza. Worst experience ever, ended up having to throw the pizza away! Dont think Ill ever go here again after today!! Gross.

Excellent value for a unique pizza experience. They build the pizza to spec while you watch (a la Chipotle), from a wide ranging set of sauces and ingredients. I particularly appreciate that they have gout-friendly turkey pepperoni, so that I can enjoy an old favorite without having to pay the price in arthritis pain the next day.

I wish I could rate the quality of the food but I didnt have a chance. I walked in just after 4pm today and waited for a minute at the counter without being greeted or even seeing an employee, so I left. This was my first visit but Im disappointed I had to walk out without anything due to such a lack of service.

This company has gone a long way from when it first opened. The pizza is quick and great the salad is fresh and the kids love the pop machine. They have gluten free pizza. It is also great for sports games if I have to go to a baseball game get pizza in 3 min and it still taste great.
