We stopped in for lunch today and boy were we pleasantly surprised; the food was excellent! My daughter has special-needs and struggles with certain food. We greatly appreciated their flexibility in accommodating those needs by creating an enchilada dish that would work for her. Of course, I had to do my fatherly duty and sample her food to make sure it wasnt too spicy, or poisoned... Ok thats not true, I just wanted to taste it; man, it was good! My better-half ordered the fish tacos. Of course I had to do my husbandly duty and taste these as well. I was surprised as to how fresh and insanely delicious they were. I ordered the Tacos Al Pastor with a side of rice and beans. Like everything else we were served, these were also really good. My only critique is that the Tacos Al Pastor needs something added to it to lift the flavor of filling past the slightly over-powering corn tortilla. Dont get me wrong, it was really good and Im not unhappy at all - I just think there is a way to make it better. That being that issue, for lack of a better term is not worthy of lowering my opinion of this restaurant. In conclusion, Las Enchilladas is a hidden gem of Mexican restaurant and the Farmington/Rosemount area is lucky to have it! We will definitely be back.

Salsa has no flavor. Tastes like tomato paste. The burrito is full of just fillers, rice - beans. I ordered a steak burrito and it was loads of rice and very little what I think was ground beef. Terrible. I thought I would give it a second try after my first attempt. To my disappointment the quality went down. I think previously the steak burrito was with a steak flat, this was now ground beef. The chips are so over powering and they gave me 1 rammy of hot salsa only after I asked. I had to come back in to ask. I really wanted this to do well, but for a $10 crappy burrito, I will stick to chipotle or Qdoba. Not worth $10. They even upcharge you if you want fajita and steak. So my crappy $10 burrito just became $12.50. Qdoba it is $9 for steak burrito with fajita toppings and a cheese sauce. This place will not do well unless they add flavor and stop ripping off with fillers and over charging for crappy food.

Ive stopped here a couple times and the service has always been good. The fish tacos are excellent and probably my favorite menu item. On my last visit I picked up three Mexican style tacos, each with a different protein. They all tasted good, however there about one tablespoon of meat in each taco. The rest was all filler. After eating the tacos I was still hungry, which is never an issue with their fish tacos. Ive tried the mild and medium salsa. The mild was very bland, tasting too much like tomato paste. The medium had a unique flavor and just the right amount of heat. Due to the small portion size, I need to knock off two stars. $8 is too much for essentially three empty corn tortillas. If youre in the Farmington area, its worth giving them a try.

Stopped in for a late lunch and I had the 3 tacos. You can pick different meats for each taco. I had one Chorizo, Al Pastor, and Steak taco. They came on a small corn tortilla with lettuce and cheese. Al Pastor was my favorite, but they were all very tasty. My wife ate the Enchiladas Verdes. The chicken was very airy and perfect for lunch. It came with the option of beans or rice. The rice had the proper amount of spice. Prior to our meal, we munched on lightly salted tortilla chips with three different types of salsa (mild, medium and or spicy). The medium was our favorite as it had a smoky flavor to it. The others were delicious. We will be back in the near future and wish Edgar and his staff many prosperous years in their new location.

Our familys absolute favorite restaurant! They cook the highest quality, most authentic, delicious Mexican food Ive ever had. The owner is so incredibly friendly and loves every single customer that walks through their door and the food shows. I can not rave about this place enough!! Also, order a pina colada-- you wont regret it.

Wow, delicious! Had a dish called alambres with steak and it was to die for!! The cook came out from the back and asked how I liked it and the cook ended up being the owner. The man takes serious pride in the food he cooks. We will be back to this family restaurant for sure!! Great happy hour too.

You walk into the restaurant without expectations and walk out thinking that youve found the best Mexican food in the state. All from this little, family owned restaurant in Farmington. The limited menu allows this family to serve great quality. The margaritas are good too.

Service was extremely slow. My wife had the fish tacos that tasted really good. I had the Alhambres beef (plated fajitas) which turned out to be mostly onions. Picture is of that. Probably would not return on our own. We will be more apt to go to Las Tortillas.
