Went to dq and received horrible service. The guy who took my order thru the drive-thru did not give me a total. My gf and ordered a medium reeses blizzard and pecan mudslide with peanut butter. We get to the window and the girl taking order made the pecan mudslide without peanut butter and comes to the window and asks was there anything else my gf said yes there was supposed to be peanut butter on that she goes and puts it on the top , then I said my blizzard???? Then as she is making the blizzard some kid was poking her in her side with the broom he wasnt sweeping the floor with. I got a look at his name tag it was Tyler. Then the girl who was not wearing the name tag comes back to the window and says hold on let me ring that in the total came to $8.24 I received a small blizzard not a medium. I was disappointed and will not return.

Well, unfortunately that was the last time I will be visiting this DQ. Now I will have to drive the extra distance to Lyndale or just make my own blizzards at home. The hiring manager needs to do better screening on these employees who lack communication skills or provide more training. Order is wrong every single time I come to this location. And they dont even apologize or seem to care they messed up. My request is not nearly as difficult as some that I have encountered working at a fast food place in my teen years. Its not really even fast food if I have to repeat the order multiple times, pay and get my drinks, then pull up and wait additional time, then have to go inside because its still wrong. Get it together guys. Worst DQ Ive ever dealt with.

As we approached the drive thru we were greeted with a "hold on" not even a welcoming greeting and waited approx 5 min for someone to say "ok ready" we confirmed our order and made sure twice if our order was thorough. We waited ten minutes for food which i can complain cause I went through a fast food place but as I sat there I watched the employees goof around and watched one employee drop the chocolate scoop on the ground and a plastic blizzard mixer cover on the ground. We ensured the wait was because our food was "hot & fresh" and as we recieved our food it was cold, the order was wrong and I couldnt find one fry longer than one inch in the basket. Terrible. Go to the DQ in Edina if live in the area.

I am a 13 year old male and there were out of a lot of things wrong with my visit.on my third attempt on getting a blizzard flavor, they had the ingredients. when i got it it did not look like cookie dough, and it wasnt. it was like a peanut butter cookie dough. i waited on the side of the counter (which wasnt very clean).there were some people behind me. the people working there were asking the people behind me what they needed.(i was in the front) then i was just there in the front of the line. workers just walked past me giving me glances. (all i needed was a cap) then it took a while to get me a cap that i could see. (the person at the cash register didnt know what he was doing, needed help)

I live nearby and have been going for years. More and more its going downhill. My husband waited behind just one car for 14 min to get a blizzard and then the order was wrong. I went to get 6 dilly bars and when I got home there were 5 in the bag. Blizzards arent stirred any food order takes forever. Lots of things go on. Its a gamble to go. They run out of ice cream and ingredients for certain blizzards a lot. When you peak in the window its a gross mess and the workers are NOT happy to be there. Most dont even talk. We live 2 blocks away and drive to the Lyndale location. Plus the Lyndale one has the two for one blizzard coupon that is for an entire year. Avoid this DQ!!!

I have had 4 bad experiences in the last month at this DQ and looking at the poor reviews, I am not the only one. One star is way to generous for this poor excuse for a DQ. Very poor service, long waits waits. No training. Staff could care less. This DQ should be closed, cleaned up, and start over with a new staff from the mgr. on down. It is so bad that I question the upper management at DQ as to how they can let a DQ that is this bad, has so many bad reviews, continue to stay open.

Came here Saturday at 9:45 pm. Google says close at 10, sign on door says close at 10, and was told that they are closed! Then came Wednesday at 9:26 pm to the drive thru, they close at 10 but they said they "actually close at 9:30" and couldnt help us because "their clock is off and their doors shut automatically." They then shut off the speaker and ignored us. WE WERE AT THE DRIVE THRU 35 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR SIGN SAYS THEY CLOSE!!!

I dont consider what they give customers to be actual ice cream at all....it is melty before I finish getting out of the restaurant into the parking lot...how is that possible in an air conditioned place with lots of freezers? The food is mostly tasteless, unless you could the high amount of sodium put onto and into everything. If you really have a crazing for DQ, I would still recommend the cakes they have in the take home freezer.

I cant believe I wasted 30 min here. All I wanted was a drink, a Blizzard, and some fries, and it took then 15 min until they had it all done, but they did not give me my fries, which I saw them make, until 15 more minutes had passed, when the gave it to me. I knew about the long waits, and I only went because McDonalds closed early. Also, the freestyle drink machine only had coke, and nothing else.

I think its funny that this review section asks what I like about it. I can honestly say nothing. I have been here four times and each time the wait gets longer and longer. I am sitting in the car as I write this and we have been sitting in this drive through for a half hour. DO NOT EAT HERE. I hope everyone here loses their job starting with the negligent managers moving down to the little kids who run it.

Many times my order has been forgotten and when it comes its wrong. Five people in the dining room; two received the wrong order and two peoples orders were lost. They take your order and delete it from the order board to keep the wait times sent to the corporate office low. They focus on the drive thru so if someone ordered the same meal there as you did in the dining room your food goes to them first.

Been there about a half dozen times because Im a sucker for the cookie jar blizzard. But the last few times Ive always been met by the most unprofessional and incompetent high-school idiots who, unfortunately, handled my food. It took nearly 20 minutes at an empty store to get my order because they were goofing off and singing right in front of me. Absolutely unacceptable staff and management.
