Eaten at this awesome place hundreds of times for a decade and they are unbelievably consistent from day to day, and year to year. The best American style chinese food and lowest cost combined. For example, $4 combination lunch specials with fried rice has beansprouts and green onions and meat, sweet and sour sauce has peices of lemon, shrimps are fat and fresh, bbq pork chunks are huge and plentiful, and large portions all around. The owners husband/wife team are fast and professional.

First off the food was wonderful but the customer service was the absolute worst. I asked a few questions politely regarding the soup and crab Rangoon . The lady was white not Chinese and obviously was never taught or informed of what manners are. Purely insulting great place for quick take out as long as you arent stuck waiting with these people your good. Customers pay your employees you might want to remind them of that. Have a blessed day.

UPDATE: Been about 6 years since my last review, and Ill say I STILL stand by it! I still love the food, the service and the value! Theyre my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Metro Detroit, hands down! ------------------------- Ive been dining at China Garden for YEARS! Like the other reviewers, Ive found them to VERY nice, very clean, fast, and the best tasting food around! I HIGHLY recommend trying China Garden, TODAY! :)

I loved their food but after today theyve lost a faithful customers. When it come to food, two things will make me never eat at an establishment again ; bugs and hair! Guess which one they had! BUGS! EXACTLY! I am upset because she exclaimed there wasnt any way possible they have bugs but when she looked at my platter, she refunded my $20 back quickly! If I could of voted 0, I would ! Bye, Bye Shrimp Egg Foo Young!

Honestly there rice is dry, there portions arent that big compared to others, especially there lunch specials. The attitude of every employee needs much much attention to and over all if you cant find anywhere else and your low on petro the this is your best bet. But if you can drive to the one off wayne and glenwood, id advice you do so. There attitude sucks too, but atleast you get your moneys worth.

I visited China Garden for the first time and ordered a carry-out order. It was quite amazing how quickly they made the food, from the time I order to the time I walked out the door was less then 10 minutes. Also the prices are very reasonable, they seem to be cheaper then other local chinese restaurants. Finally the food was great, along with the service. I would highly recommend trying China Garden

I moved to Michigan from California 6 months ago and have been looking for a good Chinese food place. I have tried a lot and none of them have been good. This place is a gem! It reminds me of places Ive eaten in San Francisco and they know how to do Chinese food there. I will definitely be back. I had the General Taos chicken and pork fried rice. Both were awesome. Highly recommend it.

We do not go this restaurant anymore. But the food is great but one of the cook is very rude. He had incident(my mother-in-law point out what he did wrong to owner and he told to the cook)with me and my mother-in -law and he walk out from the kitchen and try to punch her face. The worst thing is he only spoke Chinese he do not speak English.

My mother has been ordering from this restaurant for many many years now I believe almost 20. I have been eating here since I was a teenager. It is a great Chinese restaurant with large lunch and dinner portions well worth your money they also have a great house lo mein.

The lady or girl working at the counter is HORRIBLE. She should never be working with ppl, and if you scroll down. The food is good but everyone is saying the same thing about her. I will NOT GO BACK, and will let everyone i know how rude she is. Go somewhere else

Love the food here. Probably one of the best chinese take outs around. They are not the most sociable staff here. However I am here for the food. Its tge only place around that makes a sweet crab rangoon. Its a must try here.

Eat there regularly and havent found anything I didnt like. Customer service on the whole is good as long as you dont expect them to kiss your back side. Theyre very hardworking and usually busy, a popular local spot.

I love this place! Ive been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and chicken mushroom dinners all were excellent. Theyre fast too. 10 minute.

Not very good. The almond boneless chicken was sweet and the gravy was sweeter. The egg drop soup was terrible. The only thing l enjoyed were the spring rolls. Not enough to keep me coming back.
