for our anniversary we decided to go to the china house my waitress was absolutely wonderful! the food was perfectly fantastic, but unfortunately owners are the rudest people I have yet to me! they actually made the waitress pay for us to take our beverages in to go cups so I paid for the to go cups so our waitress did not have to. I have been going to the china house for 15 years now. I am very well known in flat rock and my family has owned a business there for 50 years. I would definitely make sure that the whole city knows how rude owners at the china house are. they treat their workers like dogs, and there customers like pigs.

New to area, first-time customer. The young lady who took my carryout order over the phone and then handled the pickup was very polite. As for the food, its pretty good. I usually get almond chicken when eating Chinese but decided to try cashew chicken instead. Lotsa food for 6 bucks (luncheon special). Hint: get an extra (or 2) soy sauce packets as the rice and main dish can use more seasoning. Overall, Ill be back.

The young girl who served me was very friendly and polite, she was knowledgeable about the food and how it was prepared. Also I am from out of state and was looking for stuff to do in the area she was very informative. She gave good recommendations and pointers, the owner was standoffish to non locals until you approached him then getting him to stop was impossible.

This is my favorite Chinese place. The szechuan chicken has a really nice flavor, unlike some others in the area that just taste like it was cooked in soy sauce. I love the egg roll(sprouts, if youre into that) and plum sauce, and the hot and sour soup is tangy with just a little heat. Ive turned other people onto this place and they really enjoy it.

Fast food Chinese. So, the service is fast. Small for dining, only seats about 30. The food is 50/50, meaning some fresh, some frozen pre-fab. Lunch about 6 bucks , dinner about 8 bucks. They are stingy with the chop sticks, so ask or youll be eating with your fingers.

I go there on occasion, and almost every time, I find myself thoroughly enjoying my food. The medium spicy General Tso chicken the only item you should order; along with fried rice. Overall decent food, friendly employees, and cozy atmosphere.

Personal downriver favorite. Never had more than a ten min wait for pickup... friendly service too if dining in. Food is always delicious and in large, heaping portions. Cashew chicken is bomb
