I moved to Athens 2 years ago and this was a pretty good place in terms of quality and price. Eventually they increased the price. Also, dinner is much more expensive ($23 for two) and the items are about the same. Two years ago my roommate and I went here once every 1 or 2 weeks. I stopped going there after 6 months, but because I was on a diet for my wedding. I recently went back there with my wife and it was less than sub par. We went at 9:45pm on a Saturday when they closed at 11pm. It wasnt crazy busy but there were other tables there. Overall, the food was a complete disappointment. Most of the food was dried out from sitting in the buffet for several hours. The hot and sour soup had so much pepper I actually choked on it. I would have gotten egg drop soup, but they wouldnt bring out more. The hibachi bar looked like "eat at your own risk." I couldnt tell you how long the raw meat had been sitting out and there was like 3 veggies to choose from. My wife complained about the cake tasting like it was 2 weeks old. Pretty much everything tasted really bland, greasy, over breaded, dried out, and overcooked. I LOVE broccoli and got some with some chicken, but some was mushy and some was hard and raw. Whats the deal? ALSO, the idiot employees started mopping everywhere at 10pm. I was in the restroom and some guy started mopping all around me. Couldnt he wait like 2 minutes for me to leave??? Plus the whole hallway was slippery and wet with no wet floor sign. I wont be going back there any time soon. Peking on the east side of town is WAY better.

THE China star, for China Star. There was NO golden men here. Only slightly yellow men. I left very disappointed. I came to men of gold and rice of white but left with neither. The rice reeked of stank. The fish looked like a cow. The cow looked like a fish. The fish TASTED like a battery! How are they even cooking this? I dont like it one bit. The plates were made of PAPER!!! PAPER!!! Not even good paper! USED paper! The silverware was all acceptable. It was only slightly dented. The restaurant was a big poo poo platter and the waiters refused to give us the mandatory birthday lapdance of love even when I asked TWICE and offered to pay her an extra THREE DOLLARS! THREE! It was a disgusting act on her part. I think her name was Wendy or Patty or Muhama. When President Trump appeared on the TV and one of the waitresses cursed him. When I told her that she was a fool, she had her grandmother throw me out of the restaurant for "harassment". President Trump will make America Great Again but he should not make anything great for these TRAITORS! Worst strip club ever.

Ive always took my family here to celebrate birthdays or special occasions..Well I took my husband and kids out to enjoy my husbands birthday this weekend, and I must say that will be the last time that they ever get anymore of my money or family and friends!!They were being very funny about serving the crab legs. They would wait every 15 to 25 mins to bring enough for two people to eat..So I asked my waiter when will they put more crab legs out,and she told me in 15mins and suggested that I go and stand by the bar and wait for them to bring them out..After waiting for 25mins it was only enough for two people, myself and the other young lady that was across from me waiting also..How disappointing was that??With a $45 bill we could have ate crab legs at home!!#Stop being stingy with the CRAB LEGS!!! lol

Over-breaded chicken tenders with different flavors (General Tsu, Sesame Chicken), overcooked beef (Mongolian Beef, Pepper Steak), heat-lamp-cooked pepperoni pizza, broken soft-serve ice cream machine, canned pudding - just a sample of what to expect from the average Chinese buffet and this one is no exception. The only notable exception is the slightly higher than average sushi rolls. The dual flat screen TVs in the dining room (both on ESPN) are a bit tacky. The restaurant is undergoing a "remodel" - if you need to use the mens bathroom, the stall consists of hanging sheets instead of traditional privacy partitions. Not a good first impression!

The last time I ate there, I was angry. We paid for the dinner buffet so that we could get the crab legs. They brought out a very few crab legs twice while we were there. Needless to say, they were all gone before they even got out there. We never did get any. When we went to pay our check, we mentioned it to them. They started talking about how expensive crab legs were. I said well, you shouldnt charge people for the buffet if you not going to put but a handful of crab legs out. Never again will I go there.

I wish I could give this place half a star more than I am giving it now. Its not a terrible place by any means. I have to admit that I have had some bad experiences here nearly a year ago, but Ive been back since and I see those more as anomalies than the norm. The food is pretty good and the waitresses are attentive. The restaurant is clean and I dont have a list of complaints (other than those things that happened forever ago). Its a solid place to eat for a good price.

We have been coming here off and on for the past 4 years. At first it was good but then it startet going down hill. The last time, and I mean, "last time," we went was just disgusting. It was about 5:30-6:00, there was very little food out and what was was there was ether cold or dry. If you cant enjoy your meal because of the nagging thought in the back of your head about your chances of getting sick later, its probably not somewhere you really want to eat.

This was disgusting! I went after seeing this menue. At first glance I thought awesome! But all of the sushi was dried out and that hard-crusty old. The pieces of salmon were transperant and hard, and there was nothing that wasnt almost empty and barely lukewarm. Glad that atleast the small plate that I was able to make of the only two cold crab rangoons, noodles, and surprisingly good spicy chicken on a stick, did not make me sick.

Some of the food was maybe half way decent. Some didnt look fit to eat. Some I dont know what it was. The chicken was not chicken, but it did sorta taste "like" chicken. This is one of those Chinese restaurants that gives all the rest a bad reputation. Dont look at the health score. Lowest in the whole county. I dont know how they stay in business. Rating: Was forced to give it one star, but it should get ZERO Stars!

This place is going down hill. We were very disappointed tonight the kids just realized they like crab legs and crawfish so we came here and they no longer sell crab legs and the craw fish are cooked in jalapenos making them to hot to eat. The shrimp with pineapples are dried out the last couple of times we have came.
