Food was looked okay; but the service quality and atmosphere is absolutely pathetic. The place is cockroach and rodent-infested. I would give them no star if possible.. worst place ever.. Started with staff: they are not professional, rude and un-accommodatin. 1. We had a group of 14 people, and were the only people there. They would not seat us together. 2. Menu were not a passed out. One choice buffet style. When we asked for menus we where told no cooks.. 3. Waiters seems not interested in any service, and frankly everone was dress in plain street clothing and looked unprofessional. We asked for a clean glass of water.. never got it. Some asked for ice in there water never got it.. they simply never bothered. 4) the soup cups looked like they have never been washed. EVER. Remembered me of a coffee cup thats never been watched. 5) Next; when why brought the water glasses they were holding the water glass from the rim of the glass.. yes tips of fingers inside. 6) THIS IS THE BEST.. as we started eating a MOUSE is walking across the floor. Yes a live Mouse. Several people started to screen and panicking. The wait staff and manager did nothing. They simply shut the door as the mosue rain into a storage room.. they pointed at mouse electric device plugged into the wall to out they are aware of it and they devices will keep dining room clear. Several people refused to eat and wanted to leave. Wait for it. They were charged full buffet price without eating.. 7) Lastly; we walk up to counter to make the payments and tryed to talk to the manager. We were told he gone and whats the big deal. Its a tiny mouse. This was disgusting. It shows their attitude towards work, and cleanliness. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Indian dishes out here.

I have visited this place a couple of times. service is horrible, place is not neat, food quality is not consistent. Same dish tastes different every time. I tried biriyani, omelette, Dosa, Veg Kothu parotta, Aloo paratha, Chilly chicken, chicken 65, gobi manchurian on different occasions. Biriyani was just white rice + baked vegetables most of the days especially if it is nearing closing time. Dosa, omelette and Veg kothu parotta were all too salty. When complained, the guy says i will tell them inside. Dosa was so dry and not at all hot. Spiciness of chicken dishes varies from nothing to too-spicy even when I said medium spicy every time. Once I took a visitor with me. I asked for a piece of lemon, which was missing in chicken 65. The guy said something to the other waiter in native tongue and they both started laughing. Very rude unprofessional service. Mostly Omette will be very salty. Make sure to tell them to check the salt level. Once I asked for extra biriyani sauce. I was willing to pay for it but they kept saying its coming or they are making inside until i reached the moment of frustration and completed the biriyani without a raitha or sauce. Service is so poor, people serving are bunch of rude teens and they look like they have o training. Dont ever visit on a Sunday evening after 8pm, they will rush you like anything. I have been a regular customer of this place. Food quality and service has gone from Good to worse. Im not sure if there has been a change of management. The one thing at this place that will not go bad is the weekend or weekday lunch buffet because you dont have to interact with waiters. Menu for a buffet is good too.

Unbelievable that this place is open to the public.. If the Health department will not do anything about this place hopefully a call to channel 2 fox news will... it’s absolutely filthy and disgusting. See a quote from the health department website.. 6-501.111f The premises shall be maintained free of insects, rodents and other pests. Food was okay; but the service quality and atmosphere is pathetic. Looks like the owner hardly visits the outlet hence the problem. Here is what I noticed: 1) Two of the waiters seems more interested in texting, being engaged with their phones instead of taking care of customers needs. I had requested thrice for Napkins; and the guy never bothered. 2) Next; when why brought the juice I had ordered it was literally overflowing on the side of the glass. 3) My order was served after a wait of almost 37 minutes; when the restaurant hardly had 3 guests. 4) Lastly; I had to walk up to counter to make my payments when there were hardly 3 guests. Two of the guys; one with funky red colored shoe soles and another was only interested is texting and speaking on their phones. This was disgusting. It shows their attitude towards work. I would not recommend anyone from tying Indian dishes out here.

Food is great and the hot bar has a great selection. My problem is that everytime I go in their it is so DIRTY. The walls, the bathroom (no soap in the ladies room) the rug, the utensils EVERYTHING is filthy. I never drink the water because the water magnifies the dirt floating in the glass. I have never gotten sick so I guess it is safe to eat there. It is my husbands and daughters favorite restaurant so I have no choice but to dine there. They did update the restrooms beautifly but they are still gross with tampons on the floor and rings on pink mold in the toilets. Eat at your own risk and if you get sick you will at least know how and where you got that way.

This place has good food but does not know how to run business. First of all they take forever to bring food, sometimes they are even run out of the food you wish to order. When you order mango shake, you get milk with mango flavor. Specially when you order to go, they always make mistake. Either you get wrong order or you get something lesser than ordered. And when you tell them their mistake they argue with you. I am sure, if they wanted to be successful they would treat you with courtesy especially when you are paying to eat, "NOT EATING FOR FREE". I am going to BBB after the last incident happened to us where we were given non-veg instead of veg.

Very nice restaurant. V had been searching for Egg Puffs in this country from the time v landed here and they have very good egg puffs. I cant even think of who wrote the bad comments on here. I went during a lunch buffet time and this place was packed and ppl were actually queueing up for a spot, so that should explain it. And the food also very delicious. Cant wait to be back in Sterling Heights for getting some more tasty food. Best south indian food I have ever had in this country. Guys at Meghas, ur doing a great job, thanks.
