Will never recommend this restaurnat after my visit (with family) yesterday.. I have furnished all details so that people know that this is real. Following are the reasons - 1. I called around 8:10 PM asking if thali was available. They responded that Thali is only for lunch and they have A La Carte, the menu can be found online. 2. We reached around 8:35 PM and after we settled down, started ordering south indian - vada n dosas. Immediately the manager who spoke to me over the phone came over and said dosa batter is over and vada is also over. When we asked why this was not informed 20 mins earlier when we called, there was no supporting answer. It was already late, we did not have an option to search for another one. Not sure if this was a plan to make us come over! 3. The chole was good but the batura was very hard and literally had no taste to it (very plain). The egg biriyani did not have adequate salt on it. The highlight was the Butter Naan. 4. It was so hard and thick and tasted bad. We then asked for the cheque. While paying, I informed the manager Shushank that the naan was horrible. He then informed me that it was readymade frozen naan since they ran out of naan as well. Request each one of you having your family and small kid to imagine being in this situation and having such an experience. I could have rather bought this frozen naan in an Indian store and had it at home then spend $50 here.. 5. The only good thing here was the veg puffs and the manager Shushank was polite and courteous. How else can you be when you do all such stuff at the background! Mr. Shushank, I am sorry if your job is on the line after reading this comment, but Im sure you will find a better place, if you do not own that restaurant. If you own it, its high time you start doing something good for the customers!

It was a very disappointing afternoon for our family at Red Chillis. I took my family and parents to Red Chillis for Sunday afternoon lunch and it was very disastrous. Ambience : This place is not very welcoming. We did not get any good vibs as we entered the restaurant. No smile from front desk person or music in the background. Service : Front desk associate is not trained to handle the front desk. She just poured water in the glass and kept a picture of water in our table. She even did not ask whether we need any thing to drink. Food : We ordered two Goat briyani and two south Indian thali. Meat in the briyani was so hard that we were not able to chew or cut, we asked for replacement and it was done. ( but we are the first one to complaint about the meat quality, its the fat. it the bone blah blah blah - front desk associate ). Replacement was Chicken biryani which was very close to tomato rice ( I swear) South Indian Thali - except Chicken curry and Payasam, it was not not a great meal. We wont go back to RED Chillis again and wont recommend to my friends.

Very Poor Service, The receptionist was very rude to the customers. She gave a pathetic look as if she is serving for free. We were served cold food, the sambar, rasam and all the curries were cold, only rice and papad was hot, so much delay in refill, you have to wait for 10 min before any thing was refilled. Asked for payasam, i was told it is packed for next day. The whole fun of Sadya was ruined, we had good experience last year therefore visited this time but will never go there again.

I may not be able to talk for all the dishes but if you are from Kerala or like Kerala food, this is the only place you can get extremely tasty Kerala dishes around here. The food is fresh, tasty and authentic. I have friends who come there every week from Anna Arbor and I go there most of the weeks too. They have all sort of Malayalee food. Appam, Kerala Porotta, Kappa Meen Curry, Varutharacha Curry etc. They are all really good.

Great atmosphere and very great service! I started with the samosas as I usually do when I eat Indian, these were just ok. I would suggest a different appetizer. Then I got the Malai kofta and some naan which were both pretty average, but still good! They have numbers by everything on the menu so its easy to order if you cant pronounce the item. 5 star service, 3.5 star food. Still worth a visit, the prices are very reasonable.

The service was superb. The young man who waited on us was very courteous and gave us a red carpet treatment. We have not seen this level of details at other area Indian restaurants. Very well kept cute little place. We loved the atmosphere. Been there only once so far. I strongly recommend their Kerala dishes. Especially the seafood. Very delicious. We will return to try other dishes in their menu.

Best and Tasty authentic Kerala food, clean and friendly environment. The restaturant has less space but they have maintained the area nicely. They have a huge variety for vegetatrian dishes. Quantity for each dish is enough for two person. Comparing to rest restaurant quantity is less but taste different. I Suggest this place to go with family and friends.

I was referred here by a patron at another Indian restaurant. I love trying food from different regions in India. Im glad I took that strangersadvise. Great food. I only had vegetarian food this time but next time Im going full in. Very friendly staff, probably the friendliest Ive encountered. Ive found my place. Looking forward to Kerala food.

The food portions of this place is horrible for what your paying for. I ordered a carry out for butter chicken. The guy gave me a really small box of white rice with little chicken pieces, like im not exaggerating. The spicyness was so non existent. If you want to blow money on poor quality indian food, be my guest.

Well, easily the most authentic Indian cuisine Ive had so far. Also, a warm welcome and decent service made the experience much better. The locals Im sure would be surprised with the specials. All in all, mango lassi at the climax was a decent good bye. Cant wait to be here again.

I went there couple months ago. I ordered spring dosa. I got dosa with carrot shredded (uncooked) and onion sprinkled with red peppers. No chutney or Sambar. Thats after waiting for over hour for one dosa. had to wait another 20min to get silverwares. Very disappointed.

Everyone is extremely nice, so it almost feels like eating with extended family. The food is absolutely delicious, everything was quite authentic, some of the best Indian cuisine in the area. I will be a continued customer and cannot wait to go back!

The food is good but the server is a little annoying. He constantly keeps hovering around the table and nudges one to order early when the kitchen closing is still 1 hour away. The only reason we come out this place is for the great tasting food.

Food is tasty! They use only fresh gravy and ingredients. Appetizers and weekend specials are the highlight of this place! If you are throwing a party, they provide catering services as well. Please do try this restaurant!!!
