If I had to rate this place solely on ambiance and setting it would hands down get five stars. However, that is simply not the case. My family and I dined here recently to celebrate a few birthdays and because the weather was pretty damn perfect we opted to sit outside on the patio by the water. The views were the only good thing about our experience here. When we were sat it took close to 10 minutes to be greeted by our Server. I have waited tables in the past and pretty much every place has a 90 second standard to at least acknowledge the table and at the bare minimum let them know you will be back in a few minutes to get things started. Not here apparently. The entire time we were there our Server was very inattentive and we had to flag her down multiple times in order to get refills. When she finally got to us she made no apologies for taking that long. Instead she took our appetizer (I will get to that more in a bit) and drink orders in which she got some of them wrong and blamed the bartender for the mistake. If you give someone the wrong mixed drink because it looks the same as something else, then yeah, blame the bartender for not pointing out which was which. This mistake though was with bottled beer that was clearly labeled. Little things like this shouldnt happen. Back to the apps. We opted to take advantage of their "1/2 Off Appetizer" Happy Hour promotion that they have. Let me start by saying that at the time we were there, no where on the physical menu nor on their website did it state it was for "Select" Appetizers only that were half off. We picked a few options and then placed our main entree orders. Fast forward to when we get our bill we see that only some of the apps we picked were discounted to half off. The Smoked Salmon Spread we had was listed as full price. We kindly pointed this out to our Server and she got a cocky attitude with us and said that there was nothing she could do about it and that only certain items were half off, and this was not one of them. My wife proceeded to pull out her phone, log on to their site and show her where it it specifically stated "Half-Off Appetizers during Happy Hour, 3:00pm - 7:00pm Monday - Friday." If you go there now though, it has recently been updated to state "Select" apps. Again she refused to do anything and said that we could talk to the Owner on our way out after we have paid if we wanted to. This got all of us a bit heated so we asked to have the Owner come over now so we could discuss this with him. She turned around and wasnt more than three feet from our table before she started to bad mouth us to herself thinking we couldnt hear her, The Owner came by and he too started to argue with us in regards to the promotion only being on select items. We showed him the website and after a bit of back and forth he decided to honor what was listed and corrected the bill. Now on to the food. It was all just very average, bland, and disappointing in some cases. One of the people in our party ordered the Asian Noodle Bowl and when they brought out our food informed her that they only had half a portion of noodles and therefore they would comp it off the bill. While that was a nice gesture, they should have come to her before they started to make it and ask if she wanted to choose something else. Instead they just assumed shed be okay with half of a portion because after all it was free... My wife ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and it was basically just a $17.00 bowl of Mac and Cheese. The amount of Lobster they gave her was less than half of a typical sized knuckle. To give you some form of visual, there were about four dime size pieces and that was it. This was also pointed out to both the Server and Owner and nothing was done about it. Overall it was a giant headache and I dont think we will be back, even for the amazing views they offer. There are plenty of other places in the area with way better food and service to choose from.

We normally love this place, but had a terrible experience on 7/3/17. We arrived at 8:00pm after trying another local restaurants, brownies on the lake, which was full. We headed out to the waterfront patio to get a table for 6 and were told the kitchen closes at 9pm. Its a holiday weekend and although its a Monday, we were hungry for dinner at 8pm on this hot summer night. There were a few 4 tops available outside, but since none would fit 6 of us, the hostess took our information and encouraged us to start with drinks at the bar outside. We decided to head inside since it was getting chilly and we found a spot at the corner of the bar. We asked if we could take a table (since the front said to ask for a hostess). The manager said we could and when we asked if wed have a server, he stated "well do the best we can". We decided to stay at the bar and a lot 20 minutes later when this same manager greeted us, we got our beer orders. We requested food Menus a few times and quickly placed our orders since we were told the kitchen closes at 9. After 59 minutes, 1 couple received their order of chips and cheese (this likely only required a 30 second heat up). The same couple recieved their Greek chicken order 15 minutes later. The 2nd couple waited another 20 minutes for a Burger and fajitas. The burger did not come with the requested fries and when we asked the Manager, he signaled to a server to "grab an order of fries and come right back out". When the 3rd couple received their food about 10 minutes later which was chicken sliders (chicken strips + biscuits) and burger sliders, the sliders came with 12 fries (as if he slid the fries off of his plate for the other). We each had empty beers for 45 minutes and the entire indoor section was empty aside from the bar, consisting of us 6 + maybe 10 other people total. Luckily Charlie and creston helped us by providing waters and laughs. Louie, the General Manager who was originally serving us, left before we got our food and never came back. (We asked for extra tortillas and got tortilla chips. We had to make our fajitas on a fork). and we were not taken care of in any other way. Nothing compd, etc. This is absolutely unacceptable. Everyone has had their fair share of busy nights at a restaurant. Its a managers responsibility to make sure their guests are happy and taken care of. But not even comping a simple chips and queso? Sugguesring another app, or even buns which require less effort than the 30 second cheese heat up? Or even just an apology or explanation? All he said was "the kids are angry they actually have to work today.." and then left before we got anything. Terrible.

Waiter Was Very Rude Didnt Come Back To Check; On Us Until It Was Time For us to Get Our Bill.I usually leave tips, but she never came until it was time to pay and it wasnt even busy inside. But I did personally give tips to the additional ppl who help me.There was one older lady that could be the assistant manager with sun glasses on and was waiting 4 other tables, while we where outside eating very nice. Also a Girl Name Alley Stop By and asked was we ok and she provided us with carry out boxes and bags, while I was there was another friendly gentleman name Ethan_was helpful I Dropped My Fork He Was There Within Seconds To Pick It Up For Me and I Honestly Believe these two Just Bust Tables,But Should be waiters that was the best service that I received while I was there.Great Food And Fresh I Could See Over The Years That The Service Of Some Of These Waiters Is Horrible,Maybe There Short Staff Not Sure,But Something really Needs To Change,Its a great relaxing location very nice scenery.Food Was Fast
