Ordered food over the phone and waited 30 minutes to pick it up. Everything wasnt in my bag. Make sure to check your food. Girl at the counter was nice but manager I assume with glasses had a poker face. Instead of refunding me they tried to put my credit in some book. Sushi guy was extremely loud when he read me back my order even though I wasnt the one who forgot to put cream cheese on 3 rolls. Then they forgot to put 1 diner in the bag so I had to wait again. Not 1 time did they say "lets make this a great experience for you" even though we screwed up on your order, or sorry for the wait. Total time was 1 hour and 15 min before I asked for my money back. I spent $76 and over an hour. Manager gave me back my money and continued to have a poker face. She would be great at playing poker in the casino. They need training on customer service and smiling. Or just quit if your not happy to have your job. She should be in the back cooking so no one can see her face.

Stellar food, horrible service. My husband and I came in on a Saturday around 2:00 in the afternoon. There were two servers and a light crowd, but apparently that was too much to handle. My husband and I sat in the sushi area for about 20 minutes before our order was taken. I had asked the other waiter could you please take our order because our waitress has not returned. When he went to address the waitress she replied to him Ill get there when I get there. If this happened at the Sterling Heights location that server wouldve lost her job immediately. There is extremely high turnover and the service simply does not care. This is very unfortunate because show gun does have a good reputation, the food is awesome but this location is killing their reputation . I will take my business to bluefin from now on .

HORRIBLE, FILTHY and Poor service. If it could be given a 0 star rating I would. Old food all over the floors, Greasy film on just about everything, the bathrooms look and smell like they havent been cleaned since the place opened. Apparently the health department hasnt visited this place lately. We ordered food at 2:10 and sat there for 30 minutes before they even came to cook and there was no one else in the place. At 15 dollars and up to eat there youd think theyd sweep the floors once in a while or vacuum. After 45 minutes of being in the restaurant finally out food was done. You couldnt pay me to go back here ever Id rather have your corner store Chinese or cook myself.

Ive eaten here with my family many times. This location is a hit or miss as far as service. It really depends on how busy they are. If they arent really busy, service can be nice. The more busy the less care youll receive. Ive only once returned my food here and that was the one time I ordered Chinese take out. My kids sweet and sour chicken was old, over fried and hard as bricks. They replaced it with a new order, but that was a day a later as leaving home and going back out that same night was just too much for me. It was a major inconvenience so I will never, never order take from them again; that experience says take out orders pay the same but get trash food.

It was underwhelming. super slow for the place to only have 5 customers and the food wasnt that great. I had to stop the chef from over cooking my salmon and the waitress was pretty forgetful. All of that would be fine if they werent so expensive, it was more expensive than some nicer chains and price wasnt communicated properly. I ordered a side of salmon and asked for the price. the salmon wasnt delivered until I asked the chef and I wasnt aware of the price until i saw the $14 add on price. It wasnt horrible but I wont be going back.

went to shoguns with my 9 year old son and my brother in law as i was watch the cook and eatting my fried rice i look to see the grease trap in the exhaust hood leaking oil on my napkin beteween me and my son it was bounce on are plates i told management and they told me it was just dark water...... WTF re got up and went outside to wait for my brother in law .,. They charged him for his meal and also put my beer on his tab...Ill never go back there again what a joke

Worst service ever! I was told 25 minutes for my order on the phone got there after 30 minutes and waited another 20 minutes....This is awful. The hostess hardly apologized and when I nicely told her that this was crazy to wait literally double what I was told and I wouldnt come back here she said "ok thats fine" and walked away Im sure her boss would not at all be happy to know that. I will not be back here again I dont care if I do like the sushi.

My Sushi was amazing and as always I have leftovers so you definitely got quite a bit for your money. I just wish I didnt have to pay extra for fried rice and I wish that I did not have to watch the chef like a hawk do to my mushroom allergy period more than once Ive ended up having to have my food made in the back in order to prevent getting sick. I dont have the same problems at other restaurants of the same type

Absolutely awful. Terrible service, waited forever just to order our drinks, nevermind food. Bathrooms were both stick and gross. Waitress was a complete ditz who brought my girlfriend the complete wrong order and tried to pretend like it wasnt. Then she took 20% off our bill for it. Also, the udon was very watery, did not taste good, and the seafood in the udon was like rubber. 0/10. Do not go.

1st impression means a lot and this was my 1st time eating here and it will be my last time eating here. Worst service ever, the waitress snatch my menu out my hand, and on top of that the food was terrible my food had no flavor. It not worth the money. The manager did nothing about anything. i reported it online too everyone on the web to do not go here. i will never go here again.

Friendly Waiter! Worse Sushi yet. Chinese dishes had nothing special to them. And they only had Ice Cream for dessert and then ran out and only had Vanilla or Green Tea Ice Cream. Both of us tried the Sushi and threw away the rest of them. Even the Hot Tea was extremely Weak. NEVER Going back. The only good thing... our Waiter was very nice!

You received the same food but for almost half the price if you get here between 11 and 3 p.m. which is when they have their lunch special. If you wait until after 3 p.m. it cost a bit more but then you also receive a better show from the chefs when cooking your food right in front of you. No place is perfect but I love this place...
