First off, Google Maps has the address right, but the location on the map all wrong. It really is on the corner of Rochester and Hamlin in Rochester Hills. So, Hamlin Pub is a good place to hang out and they have great food specials during the week. Right now, they have $5 burger & a beer Mondays and 1/2 off pizza Wednesdays. Im sure the specials change throughout the year, but theres always something going on. The burgers are pretty good, but the pizza is truly excellent! There is also usually some kind of drink special on beer. They have NTN trivia, which is cool (Wednesday night is officially trivia night). As far as the atmosphere is concerned, this varies depending on the day of the week and whether or not there is live music. It varies from smoky to very smoky. If there is a big game on, there are usually loud cheering bar-goers. If there is live music, it is usually a good guitar-player/singer although there was one night there was a terrible, loud "band" singing along to pre-recorded tracks (ugh). Overall, I like going to Hamlin, enjoy their food & drink specials, and usually enjoy the live music.

Just mehhh. Nice atmosphere. Buddy loved his meal I wasnt crazy about mine. His meal looked at tasty and moist. The portions were nice sized. The chicken well left a lot to be desired, looked a little freezer burned on the outside. I would not recommend it. Buddy I was eating with didnt like it either. The broccoli was a tad bit under cooked. The sweet potato fries were actually good and tasty. Service was bad just when the meal wasnt well if I wasnt out of town eating with a buddy Id have sent the chicken back.

My fiance and i absolutely love this place. We come here about weekly, sometimes more. Its a great place to watch a game, not to mention soccer. Overall, a great laid back place with one of the best wait staffs - theyre awesome. The food is really good for what youre paying. Its not a 4 star restaurant, but it definitely beats all other pubs out there. Tap selection is well rounded. Try the Italian Grinder, fish n chips, AND their sweet potato fries... so good.

Great burgers and specials. Very reasonable prices. I happened to sit at the bar so I wouldnt take up a whole table by myself. The place was not busy since it was a beautiful day and I was there at an off time. Watching the staff, everyone had great service except the few of us at the bar. The other servers were very attentive, friendly and Id recommend this place not only for the food but general service. Recommend.

Went there last night 8/31/16 with four people. I dont usually leave negative feedback but after the poor food quality twice i figured i had to. We ordered hamburgers that were way under cooked. Asked for well done and blood was running out of them. We sent back and waitress said cook is remaking, well and once again meat was not cooked to well done standards. Wont be going back.

Specials have several exceptions that are not explained on menus or by wait staff until after orders are placed. One bartender told us all drinks are half off, then we ordered a mojito and she brought it out and told us it wasnt included in the half off drinks. All well drinks were $2 so we ordered a amaretto and coke, only to find out that well amaretto was not $2.

My wife and I ate at the Hamlin Pub today. The table we sat at was sticky on the bottom. We ordered a medium pizza for $11.00, each item on the pizza costs $2.00 no matter what the item is. The size of the "medium" is questionable and the way it was sliced to make six pieces is a joke. There are many food establishments to eat at, Hamlin Pub is low on that list.

Bad experience all together. Waitress had an attitude & rude. Took FOREVER to even get drinks. Food took forever & was bad when it arrived. Took the family of 6 out for a Sunday lunch and was so disappointed. Nothing cooked properly, served barely warm, didnt bring enough plates etc....totally unacceptable.

Always a great pizza option, especially on Wednesday when any pizza, any toppings is half price. There are specials every night & ones during Tigers games & other sports. Also during games, you can get a medium one topping pizza for $6 with extra toppings for $2 each.

I have only been here on nights that my friend is doing Karaoke, so i cant speak for every night. That said, the service is a little slow sometimes and it can be pretty loud. The food is what youd expect from a bar/pub scene but the price for drinks wasnt too bad.

Love the pizza here; drink prices have crept up in recent years. Guinness is $6.75/pint - easily the most expensive in town. We visit Hamlin Pub mostly out of convenience, but prefer other nearby pub/restaurants such as Too-Ra-Loo or Rochester Tap.

I came there with some of my friends, all around the age of 22. Their servers and bartenders were incredibly rude and disrespectful, playing practical jokes on our table. I would recommend a different bar in Downtown Rochester, anywhere but here.

Cool spot but there is a 4 year old that stands at the door chewing on the plastic remnants from his freeze pop checking your id. Looks so unprofessional. When I wasnt distracted by that the music vibe was nice.

It had been some time since I last visited here. Four of us all ordered something different so we could each share a portion. We thoroughly enjoyed the reuben, club, Italian grinder, and boneless wings.

Foods great try the chicken dumpling stew. I wish they had it in a bowl size like the shelby location.. they use the same size bowl as the shelby location and will charge you for a quart size

It was ok I got the California turkey burger ! Poor waitress because I ordered water and i never got it and i had to get up and Ask the bartender to get me water . Poor waitress staff
