Wish I could give his place five stars and I would because I Absolutely love the food absolutely love the happy hour and drinks absolutely LOVE the Decor and the fact that if you have celiac disease you can eat here without getting sick its absolutely a dream BUT absolutely dislike the service. The waitresses are very rarely friendly they are EXTREMELY slow it takes forever to get water or any kind of drinks. I wouldve had three to four drinks compared to the one that I had at my last visit because I never saw the waitress. The table service is SO SLOW I never want to come back because of that ONE reason. Its really a shame because this is a awesome place to eat I really enjoyed coming here except for I can never get a drink. Ive been here probably five times and the experience has been the same. Ive been here three times with my husband and once with my in-laws, and once with my two girlfriends, so I think that shows how much I enjoyed the restaurant but it doesnt matter if theres just a couple people in there or if the place is packed it takes FOREVER to get a cocktail, water, beer etc. After the waitress takes your order it takes an extremely long time for the waitress to come back to you with your drinks and then anithervextremely long time for her to come back to see if you want another cocktail or beer, thats usually after your order is ready and even then its hard to get a drink because they put it down your food and you ask for another drink and you wont see the drink until after youre almost done with your meal. So frustrating because I absolutely love this place and would come back except that the service has always been slow every time Ive been here. Its a Fantastic place to eat especially if your Celiac and gluten-free theyre very accommodating that way and I absolutely love the food and the ambience of everything and the drinks are amazing its just too bad that the waitresses are so darn slow and it takes them forever to come back and see if you want another drink. Truly a shame. So if you want great food, great drinks and you dont mind waiting a really really really long time to get a drink and be ignored by your waitress till your food is ready, this is the place for you!

We went here shortly after it opened. The beer selection was good and they provided a sheet with all of the beers on tap. That was pleasant compared to the sloppy chalkboard buried in the rafters of most places with rotating taps. The beer was priced appropriately (not cheap, but not ridiculous either). They were running some kind of special where you get the appetizer, entree, and dessert for one price ($20-25). We got shrimp for the appetizer. It tasted good and the presentation was nice, but it was very sparse. I got salmon and my wife got the Easy Rider combo (BBQ combo). Again the presentation was nice but the portion size was disappointing. I was still hungry after finishing my salmon. We decided on chocolate bumpy cake for dessert. It took a full 25-30 minutes to get our dessert. I can only assume they ran out of something and had to run to the store. It was very frustrating and I tried flagging down our waitress 2 or 3 times to get our check and just get out of there. After 20 minutes and no explanation of what was taking so long, I was fine with just cutting my losses and passing on the dessert I already paid for, but I couldnt even get our check so we could leave. The beer selection was good and the presentation was unique (if you care about that sort of thing... I dont). The portions were disappointing, the food was rather expensive, and the service was terrible. Im getting mad and flustered just thinking about it again now. We live very close and we havent been back.

We ate here a year ago and had the burger that was ground with brisket and topped with a little BBQ sauce and smoke house bacon. This was the best burger Ive ever had. The first burger Ive ever had that didnt need any condiments. It was very juicy and full of flavor. A bit pricey for a burger at $14 but my taste buds have been watering to come back ever since. They cut all of their own meat there as well. We didnt care for their specialty mac n cheese that the owner gave us to try and we havent tried anything else yet as we only were there one time. I wish they werent so pricey as we would go more often and I would of also given them 5-stars. The parking lot is always packed so watch what time you go if youre in a hurry.

This place is simply amazing. We had a bridal shower there just Sunday for our sons bride to be. Pat and his staff provided us with superior service from the planning to the end. The food was amazing and so delicious and all of the guests couldnt say enough about how wonderful the food was and how beautiful the shower was. We will be recommending Steelhouse Tavern to all of our family and friends, in fact we will also be hosting the rehearsal dinner there for their wedding next month. Such an excellent and Superior experience !!!!!!

Meh... Just okay in my humble opinion. I was slightly disappointed actually. I took my girlfriend here for dinner and drinks last week after a friend recommended it and I saw all the favorable reviews. My experience was mixed... + Nice atmosphere and decor + / - My burger was a bit dry and ho-hum, but my GFs chicken sandwich was delicious. - The service was slow and somewhat disjointed (My GF ordered a Bells Two Hearted and the waitress just brought her a can with no glass, we had to ask for water several times, etc.).

The food is great, however the manager that was in charge for the day was talking very loudly to another table about the kitchen and menu items and what she was allergic to and was expressing that she threw up because of the beer she drank. It was a very unpleasant experience to listen to. The manager did apologize for her actions and did give us a discount on the bill. I will still come back because the food is fantastic and I believe she will learn how to speak on the sales floor.

As a celiac, we go here all the time! Good food, great service. Great gluten free choices! When one of the owners stopped by our table and asked how the food was, I told him I was impressed with the gluten free choices. He told me to call ahead before we came in and the kitchen would fire up their gluten free fryer. This opens up a whole menu of items from which to choose. Gluten free pizza is the best Ive had around here. Good wine pour.

Service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I have celiac disease and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions without issue. I havent had tater tots in years because theyre so hard to find gluten-free, and these ones were amazing - very crispy. Also, whatever brand of gluten-free buns they use is one of the better ones Ive tried!
