Bottom line: Everything is fantastic!!! The rest of the story: My wife and I first visited this restaurant the week it opened. I remember standing puzzled at the menu board. Chef unknowing to us, noticed and unexpectedly came out to say hi & explain what we were seeing. There were some bumps that first week -namely, food from a jar which was subsequently changed to a mini-bowl, but weve loved watching the business evolve to what it is now; a popular, thriving, efficient restaurant! This is not the first time Ive felt this way about a new business. I remember saying Baja Fresh would be huge, and Jamba Juice, and Urban Outfitters... Theres no doubt in my mind 2941 Street Food will become a hugely successful franchise and Ill love telling everyone I predicted it and watched it happen! Aside from all that... The mini-bowls are $7.50, which are my favorite. Similar item at Chipotle might be $.50 less... but you can get the same thing at 1,000 different places, maybe 10,000. The wheat instead of rice is nice. The tandoori chicken with tandoori sauce is beyond delicious with a bravely perfect amount of heat for me. Add pickled mushrooms and black bean hummus and you can stuff yourself or have plenty leftover. Service is always friendly and Im always in and out (when taking out) MUCH faster than I could drive through McDonalds. I have to say, this is the best, most brilliant twist on Mediterranean food Ive ever had. I love shwarma & tabouli but come on, its the same everywhere. I cant properly describe the food but its absolutely delicious and ridiculously unique as far as I know. Its my favorite restaurant in Rochester / Rochester Hills area and there are plenty of high end places to choose from. Finally. I work in the training industry and know when processes are clear, people are well-trained, and treated well. I also know when they arent. Kudos on whatever is being done here!! (Not sure what I mean by this? Stop in Mod Pizza sometime.)

Ive noticed people commenting (at least on Yelp) about the portion sizes -- and Im actually surprised. Im consistently left basically force-feeding myself the last few bites because its delicious and I cant bring myself to leave any behind. The food has been great every time, but Ill be honest, I stick to the same few things. Ive gotten the chicken every time, but last time I went I was happy to discover you can get half and half for protein, so I did chicken and falafel. You get two falafel with a half portion, so Im not sure if four is considered a full serving or if they round up to five, but they are decently big. I dont typically like falafel but I like eating vegetarian when I can, and Ill definitely be ordering it again. Theyre crispy and delicious, and fried to order so they dont sit around and become soggy. Because theyre the same concept, Ill make the comparison to Chipotle. I get the Honest Bowl, which costs more than a bowl from Chipotle at $11.50, but I normally leave Chipotle feeling like I could eat more. The giant piece of Samoon bread that comes with the Honest Bowl could make up the price difference alone -- but you also get more food in general. The humus is smooth and flavorful, and I highly recommend the spicy harissa sauce -- but from what Ive tasted, you cant really go wrong with anything here.

They wont understand until they get their greasy hides in there and taste the modern bounty of the American food establishment. No Im not drunk but pure excited about Vegetable Arook madness griping my inner nations. A dream catcher I willingly throw my money at in an attemp to get a better than decent meal. Here where the water is rested and the napkins are neatly stacked for the infatuation of convenience. One may even get a beer, if they feel so inclined or return to work early under the limit and fit for battle, as their happy stomach eagrely digests real nutrition with ease and comfort. Choices? 2941 has them in a barrage of balanced flavors and texture to please the pallet; leaving with your wallet intact and a pure feeling of sustainance. Were anyone can leave full but in no way or form be in need of a couch to wash away the fast food shame. This is a gem in the smorgasbord of shattered American dreams. While pondering all things food, I look for any excuse to find my way back in line, making new choices, saying "Yes please," and "Oh, that would be nice, thank you!"

After my first trip, I thought I would not want to go back...but I did and I am happy with second choice of tandoori chicken with lemon basil and rice! I found the pickled mushrooms a bit too stong. I felt that 4 small wings at $6.00 was unacceptable. I had to wait the longest for the wings...therefore my expectations were not met for taste and value. I didnt really like the lamb sausage...it was cold and very dry. I didnt get a side of chips with the chunky tzadiki, and had to eat it with a spoon. Mediterranean food is plentiful in this area, and the selection is varied at every price point so Im hard to please for sure. I must LOVE the zaatar chips and hummus. They were delicious. Slight lemon zing, quality olive oil, crunch so satisfying! They were tiny, and you get a snack size bag...but oh so yummy! Get a second bag!

A new take on the expanding mediterranean food market. Fresh ingredients combined with the "fast casual" concept make for a wide variety of options for an enjoyable meal. You pick what you want, they put it together with fresh, flavorful offerings. Now for my brutally honest opinion; this place puts a certain "fast casual" burrito place to shame. 2941 is a very similar concept, but the freshness of the food combined with the variety offered takes the style to a new level. With three stores open now, and two more on the way, I hope they expand further out into SE MI. The prices are higher than the burrito place, but the quality of food is absolutely worth it.

I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere was nice, the staff was nice, it even had nice reviews online. I ordered the honest bowl with rice, pork (which I ordered at the recommendation of the gentleman behind the counter), red pepper chutney, some random vegetable and a Greek salad. The rice was nothing special, the pork had the consistency of beef jerky, the chutney was bland, the vegetable was not memorable, and the Greek salad didnt have feta cheese. The bread on the side was hot and fresh. I wouldnt go back, there are too many other fast casual restaurants nearby for me to go to instead.

very nice and clean place was in and out in 7 mins exactly , it is a twist on Mediterranean cuisine with a modern touch . i got the Angus zaatar steak it was delicious i love that most of the food was fresh and fast you dony see that anywhere else they have a variety of health conscious drinks and well as beer. the workers were very informative and friendly , i wouldve gives this place 5 stars but my Arook was a little under cooked. also PLEASE change the music so its more suitable for a family environment , maybe some Mediterranean inspired tunes

I dont believe that Ive ever eaten such good food. My favorites are the falafel, which tastes much better than any other falafel Ive tried, the kaleboulleh, a deliciously fresh variation of taboulleh that adds chopped kale, and the black bean hummus, which has a faint and utterly pleasant hint of smokiness to it. I was delighted to learn that the garlic sauce, which is exquisitely and perfectly flavored, is dairy-free. The restaurant is roomy and set up cafeteria style, so the atmosphere is casual.
