I used to love Red Robin. The service was fast and the food was great, but like all chains, they start out great and forget what made things good. My wife and two kids went here recently for my sons 3rd. birthday. We told two of the staff about it, and they FORGOT! Can you believe how sad my son was when they did not sing to him? Then they had 6, count them 6 people at the front door. and not one of them held the door for us even though we had two crying children in our arms. The kicker was as we were walking out the door there was a guy in a wheelchair coming and and they made no effort to hold the door for him either. Shocking. What was once a great restaurant is now a bunch of corporate check-boxes that have completely forgotten the human element. Very sad. If you look at this place from a distance it still seems great, but watch the quality of the staff and its a complete fail. Please remember also that it starts at the Management. So when they come out after bad service and kiss your butt, its all show. If they cared, the staff would be answering to the manager, but this girl they had working was a dud.

If I could give no stars I would! After ordering the chips n salsa we notice there were barely any chips for the dips I figured it was fine ill just ask for some once we need a refill, when that time approaches the waitress tells me it will be $3.50 additional for more chips then says it wouldnt be worth it, we barely made it through the dips not even half way through them needing additional chips which were $7 so It would have cost me over $10 for chips n salsa?????? This was ridiculous I paid for a app that we couldnt even complete for $7. Then to top things off when paying for my bill the waitress didnt even bring me my change. It was under a dollar worth but her tip was with me, so she never got it. We left to never return!

This is probably the one and only place I get a turkey burger made the way I like it! They also give you options such as broccoli instead of fries! Get this, I even got to order a kiddie sized meal instead an adult sized meal and still took food home!! That half a burger made a great snack about midnight! We had a wonderful server this time, how many servers before this one didnt tell me I could order the smaller portions??? Shame on you!! Yes, we told her boss what a great job she was doing! Customer service was her number one goal. YAY!

I ordered the royale burger and it was nasty I told the waitress did they change the way they they have been making thier burgers from years ago i mean it was not even close to how they use to make them. she just looked at me like I didnt know what I was talking about. It was just plain gross. nothing like before and I recieved no sympathy either I quess since they didnt care what i thought Then I will never return. $10 dollars for a bad burger if this is the way they are going to make these now ill never be back

When my food was finally delivered correct after getting sent back for an ingredient that I had asked for it not to be included due to a food allergy. The waitress appeared to have a lot of attitude towards our table. She argued with me that the tomatoes on my wrap that I asked to be removed was actually sauce. After we finished our meal I asked for a box and it took 15 minutes for her to bring one which we had to ask for again. I love red robin but I will never go to this particular one ever again.

Okay, which one of yall has went to a restaurant an gotten some fresh wings with bleu cheese ON THE SIDE. Let me tell you this place takes it to a new level. They actually had the nerve to put this blue cheese crumble all over my boneless buffalo wings, its unreal. I was so pissed I nearly walked out. Not to mention they have made up their own names for buffalo and terryaki. But seriously, who the hell puts this bleu cheese crumble on my wings. It looks like ass, this place is unbelievable.

Madison Heights location...... my wife and I told ourselves that we wouldnt come here anymore. we had to watch our kids eat while our stomachs grumbled because they completely messed up our orders... severely overcooked and missing ingrediants. my wife had a clear view of the staff at the window and in the kitchen and watched as they were goofing off and having a great time eating and tossing trays around instead of checking that orders were leaving the window complete and properly cooked.

Staff is always friendly but not always paying attention, its a shame that my family has such frequent less-than-stellar experiences.... but it just goes to show how nice the atmosphere, food, and layout of the store is because we keep coming back! Keep in mind that this location has never been known to be fast, so make sure you give yourself enough time for whatever youre planning afterward. Smile at the waitstaff, they try their best... its just very frequently busy.

Our food was ok, our servicer was very nice and accomadating, but extremely slow and we had to tell her things several times before we finally got it. Their not too quick on bringing those bottomless fries out, even though thats all my 5 yo was eating and all that he eats. Overall if you didnt need to feed a child and had lots of time to hang around, then good, but we had no major problems, i would return to this location again...#detroitchic

I came in during lunch at 12:40pm on an hour lunch break. It was taking a little while so after 25 minutes we asked to get it to go. Waiter gave us our checks and we paid, and he said they were boxing up the food. We were still waiting after 20 Minutes. We walked out the door at 1:15pm. During a not so busy lunch hour, it should not take 45 minutes to get a burger and fries. I came here for the speed, I left with an hour wasted.

I had a phenomenal experience at Red Robin tonight. I was having an incredibly rough night and the bartender Erica made me feel incredibly welcome and took care of me additionally I was there close to close and having an incredibly rough day and one of the cooks who had recently gotten off of his shift took a moment to give me encouraging words shout out to Todd and Erica for making this a wonderful visit

Red robin in general is pretty good. This location howecee always seems messy. The wait staff is veey hit or miss. We started trting carry out a few times to avoid being waited on but had our food wrong or 10-15 minutes on top of the rime estimate they gave. We prefer the Hall rd location to this one ane have stopped dining at this location entirely even though its cloawe.

I thought it was quite overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. I ordered chicken strips, and it was $5 more expensive than the kids meal, but only gave you 1 more chicken strip. I do like the bottomless fries. It was very busy on a Saturday evening but the service was still fairly good. It is better to come here on a weekday during happy hour.
