Comfortable atmosphere with reasonable prices and the closest to traditional Japanese food in Michigan. Its an izakaya (bar) style Japanese restaurant. I enjoy my time whenever I come here and the staff are friendly. If you want to come to a relatively authentic Japanese restaurant in the midwest, this is it comparing to the coasts, this is it.

This is a great restaurant to dine into. I have been there many times and all I can say is that, if you are looking for authentic and great tasting Japanese food, go there. You will not be disappointed. Their sushi are very fresh and the atmosphere is friendly. They have an amazing duck soup as well.

My dad and I were looking for something refreshing and new to us. This place was amazing. The food was the best food I have ever had. The people were really nice and polite, it was also pretty quiet. Their Croquette was my favorite dish. Ill have to go back their again to try more of their food!

Great little Japanese restaurant. Its expanded quite a bit to accommodate the increase in business these last few years. I always get the takana fried rice, its a must eat. This place is a fun place to order a lot of small dishes to share while drinking some beer!

expensive and lack of presentation ... kind of horrified that people actually gave this place a 4 star ... most japanese restraunts in the US use frozen ramen and udon which you can purchase at a japanese market ...

Nice quaint Japanese restaurant. Casual atmosphere with variety of small Japanese dishes. Can get expensive though if you order too many varieties. Serves Japanese beer which is also a plus.

First time here but the shoyu ramen is the best I have ever had. Has a wide selection of sake and Japanese beers but also normal U.S. stuff. Rolls are good and the fish is extremely fresh.
