I attend this restraunt often, I told family and friends what a great restraunt this was, spend a lot of money there including buying gift cards for others to experience the restraunt. I went there last saturday, myself and 9 of my family members; you can image how much we spent. Two days later see an additional charge on my credit card for 140.10 from Miakos. I called and got answers like, I do not know what you are talking about, we cannot charge a card two days later(clearly from them because it is on my statement). I found out that thier restraunt takes more money from your credit card as they did and holds the funds until the bill is cleared. Why isnt anyone informed about this? You could have only the amount you spent on your card for dinner and it ended up with overdraft fees and such because they intentanally take more money out than necessary to cover their a** if they do not get paid. I then asked them to fax a letter to release the funds and all would be good right? Wrong, they rather not and just let it take its toll; run its course and I was told that it will be almost a month until I see my money again. So word of advise IF you do go there take cash because it will happen to you. Oh yeah and I left a 20.00 tip and they basically said that it was not enough, It was well over the amount that would of been appropriate.

We were looking for somewhere usual but couldnt find anything that was open. The night just kept getting worse so we just looked up japanese bc we were at a last resort and this place stood out for some reason. We get in and seated immediately which I took as a bad sign until 5mins later when I look at the door and literally see 6 different groups of 4 and 5 people each all trying to get in. We were joined by a indian family. It looked they were on vacation. The waiter, tri pronounced "tree", walked over and started joking with everyone. He brightened up the evening a little. I ordered the chicken and salmon combo with double fried rice. The chef, Stan, comes out with a very strong accent and confirmed everyones order. After confirming he spoke normal english bc hes from here. He was joking also. The rest of the night was amazing the say the least everyone got pictures with the chef and waiter. The only bad part is that I didnt have more money to tip the chef with.

I like the food here and the show at the hibachi is great! This was our second time there and they were very considerate and accommodating the first time. This time however I purchased the same thing as last time Shrimp, Chicken and Steak on the Hibachi ($29.95). Problem comes in when others at the table request Meduim and Medium rare steak. Im last to order and I ask to have mines Just Well and this was also done excellently. Problem is just because I want Well does not mean you can serve me a lower quality cut. I withheld from saying anything but it was definitely evident by the time I got my food home. Of course it tastes different and is obviously a lesser cut as it is quite chewy with fat grains (or whatever you call it) running throughout. I just wont eat it this time but next time (and if you go) I will be sure to pay more attention to this!

everytime we go here it is delicious. we actually get disappointed when we go anywhere else. we highly recommend this place, Sarah is the best server she even knows our order. The best Japanese Steakhouse and it gets better everytime. You will get a special treat anytime you go. Update: Sarah is still the best....we moved away for the past year and came into town to visit and she still remembered our drink and food order. I doubted she would remember us and her whole face lit up when she processed she knew us. I appreciate the small details, Miyako never lose her, and Sarah if you ever get a job someplace else find me and we will come visit! Definitely the best service we have ever had ❤

First time going here, the food was great! But our waiter kind of made me feel rushed. Also my total was $22 gave him $25 and he didnt come back with my change after 15 to 20 minutes of waiting. We had to interupt him chitchatting with another employee. We had to ask him where our change was at and he ask how much I gave him. Really pissed me off. Ill deffinetly go back but for a first experience it was pretty bad.

SO YUMMY! Everyone was INCREDIBLY friendly. It was a lovely atmosphere for date night, and I have been once before for a work event with a group of 7. The food was mouthwatering and even leftovers (1 and 2 days later) were spiced perfectly, juicy, and keep me wanting more! Highly recommend for a slightly expensive night out once in awhile when you want exceptionally family friendly service and absolutely good food!

My (Niki) favorite Japanese place! Buk doesnt care for sushi so he prefers the grill. I have had the grill before several times and although it is delicious, I believe your money is better spent at the sushi bar. Not only can you usually walk into the sushi area instead of waiting 20-60 minutes for a grill, but the sushi is so darn amazing!!! GET THE YUMM YUMM ROLL AND THE 75 HIGHWAY! You will not be disappointed.

Great food but today I am very upset. I went to call in my order like I always do and they said they no longer take phone orders (I even asked if I could pay over the phone for my order and they said no) and I would have to come in to place my to go order and then wait for 20 minutes, who wants to do that after sitting in Atlanta traffic? It makes me very upset as I order food from here weekly on my way home.

Never go to this place food tastes horrible overcharged prices and horrible customer service its junk food priced like a exclusive restaurant. We were a party of 3 adults 3 children they give noodles to the children chicken to one adult fish to another and scallops for the third and charged us $110. We got stomach pain three of us when we got home after dinner. This place is horrible.

Very pleasant atmosphere, fun experience for a change of pace. Food was made fresh on the hibachi grill (with all the "flare", the chef could muster). The food was very good, even picked up a few "al a cart sushi", dishes for later. Price is on par for other restaurants with simular entertaining at your table chefs on the grill. Staff was nice ans friendly, I would definitely recommend.

12/29/16 I had sushi here many many time.. the sushi are still delicious but the waitresses (blonde American and Asian dark long hair) are worst .. no smile and they make me feel like they were force to work.. I wait for half an hour for them to check on us if we need smth else (they walked pass us so many times).. I dont know if I will cone back here again..

Everything they serve is excellent quality, taste and appearance. One thing that I cannot stress enough.......the yum-yum sauce is phenomenal, I could drink a gallon of it. The service is excellent, very attentive, responsive and accurate. This place is very hard to beat in the local area. Also the prices are reasonable for the food you receive.
