First of all... Our Reservation was at 6 p.m. .. We are a group of 14 people who were there to celebrate two different Great & Awesome things that my 10 year old granddaughter accomplished ; (1) She made straight As all year long in school , (2) She made the ball team for Morgan County Middle School & I am so very Proud of her !!! We were there about 10 minutes early but we still wasnt seated at 640 p.m.!!! Then I had to chase someone down to ask them how much longer before we will be seated and they acted like they didnt know .. then we still wasnt seated until nearly 7 pm and the woman who seated us was pretty much rushing us on our orders and rude as can be !!! When she got to me I ordered Chicken & Shrimp that comes with a salad ... Instead of her asking me what type of salad dressing I wanted she was rushing so much that she looked at me and said " Ranch ! " (Like she was saying thats what kind she was giving me for my salad whether I wanted it or not hatefully !!!) .... After we got through ordering and she left ... Our regular waitress was just as sweet as can be & Awesome and so was the rest of the employees ... The cook & our meal were Awesome !!!!!!! So after all it finally turned out great

My last review of this place was sitting at the sushi bar. It was 5 stars, and that memory only reason they get two stars now. We came for my wifes birthday and since her family does not eat sushi we sat in the Habachi Area. It was filthy where we were seated. The hood was so bad that the light could not be seen in the middle, the grease traps have not been cleaned properly in a long time. The griddle was filthy as well. The cook appeared to cross contaminate everything on the grill with the raw chicken. The waitress was slow to take our habachi orders. She then waited to pick up the sushi orders until after the habachi was almost done. Thankfully the family shared some chicken and rice with my five year old who was only going to eat sushi which didnt arrive until he was done with the chicken. My wife for her birthday dinner got to sit and eat after everyone else was done. There were other issues, but I am tired of writing. In conclusion, sit at the sushi bar... dont eat the habachi.

There was 8 of us there last night, it was our 1st time going there to eat will not go back , we was looking forward to it ,we got there and there cloths looked like street cloths ,then us ladies 3 of us went to the restroom while waiting on our Chef to cook for us ,we all was looking forward to see the fire thing the Chef seen the girls where gone and done it without us there they cooked our food with no tricks ,no vegetables where looking forward to seeing thethe tricks we had more RICE then MEAT , then they added 15% tip on our check and did not tell us until one of our friends asked what is this charge on a hand written ticket, and then while we was eating they bought the next plates out lined them on the grill gross probably the same way they did our plates and we didnt know, then they stood there and watched us eat kept graping our plates and we felt so RUSHED like get out, WE WILL NOT BE BACK !!!!!

This is an amazing deal! You can eat hibachi made at the table, large portions, and awesome flavor for less than $10! Anyone that comments that they did not get the kind of show that they were expecting should have mentioned that this costs almost a third of what other hibachi places costs and therefore you should adjust your expectations accordingly. For the value, it is delicious! They even make the fried rice spicy at your request and I would recommend the spicy fried rice as well as the regular fried rice. I ordered the steak and chicken hibachi, vegetables (they are a $1 extra) and the fried rice. My meal was less than $10. You cant beat this deal! Is it the best hibachi ever? No, but are you getting good food for less than $10? Definitely!

Friday night the restaurant is packed, only a few tables available. The crowd is a mix of young and old, country folks even, waiting to be seated. Im lucky, a lone truck driver who will sit anywhere, even the sushi bar. The place is buzzing with locals and out of towners. I am surprised by what Im experiencing. This is a small town from my perspective, Im from Los Angeles so I am used to this there, but not here in Monroe, GA. I really didnt expect much at all. Turns out this restaurant is a welcome surprise, the sushi is great, properly proportioned and very tasty. The service too is very responsive given the fact that the place is packed. I dont think the locals need a shout out about this place, they already know its here.

I have no idea how this place have got such a good review. This place is disgusting.. First the roof had the most water damage i have ever seen at a resturant. We decide not to seat at the habachi but at the dine in instead. The water damage was everywhere then they sat a party of 30 high school kids by us and put the on top of us. The soup was just chicken broth and everything from the salad to the main meal was covered in a strange orange flavor. I have never had such dry chicken in all my life... and the lobster was so overdone it took 4minutes to chew. This place is not worth the money. Obviously people who like this place have never truly had habachi. I do not recommend this to anyone accept for the health inspector.

I usually love this place but the last three times weve eaten here the service has been terrible! Our waitress [the same one all three times was rude and the cook took FOREVER to even show up to our table then left again and acted like he would rather be anywhere but our table. The chicken was like rubber ... most of the staff seemed friendly but the ones that we dealt with tonight need to get a pulse. Extremely disappointed because this place is where we always celebrate family birthdays. I guess a will be finding another resteraunt to spend our money.

We have been coming here for almost 6 years. It has always been great. Of course the chefs have their off days but we can always tell because their food is great and the sushi is just amazing. Their prices is the best and by a huge margin. The staff is always great and they really make you feel like family once you get to know them. We come here at least three to four times a month, not because we dont like going to other restaurants, but because thats about how long we can go without it lol, the cravings are for real.

EXCELLENT! My fiance and I LOVE Japanese and travel ALOT, so we have eaten at many different Japanese restaurants. This one stands out among the rest. Their prices are VERY reasonable for this type of food, their fillet was an excellent cut and cooked to perfection. Their "yum-yum" sauce is one of the better ive tasted, and their staff is friendly and inviting. The only thing they dont do is put on a big show while cooking your meal. However, the food makes up for the lack of entertainment.
