I went to this restaurant because of all the high ratings. I ordered my food to go over the phone. When I arrived, I let them know that I was there to pick up my order and with an attitude the lady asked for my name and then gave me my bag. I nicely asked whether or not they had white sauce and she looked at me with annoyance and replied "its in the bag". I am one that likes to soak my hibachi in white sauce so I kindly asked for more and I could tell that I was ruining her day. After I walked to the car I decided to look inside my cartons to see what the food was like and take a bite. Well, the so-called salad was simply lettuce with a small cup of ranch! Then the rice looked more like old Mexican rice than Japanese steamed/fried rice. Not only that, I understand that this restaurant has been open for 15 years but Hibachi includes zucchini, onions, sometimes mushrooms, and/or broccoli. That was all absent! They also gave me baby scoops of steak and literally 4 pieces of shrimp. Yes I understand that shrimp may be expensive and is usually in a smaller portion. I decided to let them know that I was disappointed and that their food was not worth what I paid nor a true Hibachi meal. Both the ladies at the front proceeded to snide and interact in their native dialect and then looked at me and asked what was the problem, make a comment that I must be upset with the price and that they could always give me more meat. I let them know that they had poor customer service and that the food was not to standard and that I expected my money back. To make a long story short, although the lady wanted to go on (rudely) about how they had been in business for 15 years I got my money back and will NOT be returning for poor customer service and fake Hibachi. Conyers you have been officially played by this company for 15 years, smh!

Very very horrible service. Me and my eight family members, including a baby, went to eat there for dinner. As we came in it was crowded but we stood and waited. They moved us twice to wait for a hibachi. We didnt mind that but were a bit irritated. After waiting we finally got a seat then were crouded in stuck together I, on the end, almost squished with a random lady. If that wasnt enough my 2 year old cousin was basically shoved in a corner like he wasnt a human being and wasnt good enough to sit at the table with us. At this point we all got up and left. It was very very nasty as well. Food all over the seat I was sitting in and I had to wipe it with a napkin. Horrible experience.

WILL NEVER EVER EAT HERE AGAIN. My fiancé ordered to-go plates for us. We only live 10 mins down the road so we get home open our plates ready to eat it and there wasnt much chicken in mine or his and he only had 3 shrimp, the rice was so nasty and was not Japanese fried rice. He even asked if it was plain rice nothing added and they said yes its just plain fried rice but the rice had eggs and onions in it so we couldnt eat it worst place to eat ever like I said never ever going back. It was a waste of $20. So beware you will either waste your money or be over priced for the food.

They are NASTY! The chef wiped his nose while cooking and did not wash his hands. Its always a long wait. The lady at the door will tell you it will only be 15min but it is more like a hour+ on the wait time. They rush you to leave by handing you to go boxes as soon as the chef is done cooking. Rude and disgusting folks. My baby started crying and the lady ran over to shush him. He is a baby so what do they think is going to happen after waiting a hour to be seated. Never going back.

This restaurant used to be much better. It was our go-to place for sushi. However the last few times weve been have been lacking. The prices have gone up a bit and the quality has gone down. Also, the waitstaff is trying way too hard. I felt like the manager had told them to clear dishes as soon as our chopsticks left them. Multiple times, someone tried to take my plate and glass before I was finished. If my glass is empty, Im probably wanting more... Not finished.

My family and I used to eat here all the time, and to be honest - it was never really that good and we eventually gave up on it. However, we gave it another try after a year of not going... and it was SO good. It seems like they hired a new sushi chef because you can definitely tell a difference. The quality was amazing. I will definitely be eating here again soon!

Absolutely adore this place. Been going for years. The hibachi is a nice experience and the sushi is delicious. Only downside is when ever I order takeout I feel like the portions of meat you get are so much smaller than when you order dine in. Besides that, over all a good place. Also, their seeet tea is southernly perfect.

When I go to eight sushi at Tokyo whether it is in Conyers or Monroe, all I have to do is just tell my sushi chef to fix me something special and he does and I always enjoy whatever they fix me. They know my likes and dislikes and its always something different. It is always a pleasant visit when I go.

My husband and I found this place when looking for decent sushi close by. The outside is extremely unimpressive, in an old strip mall situation, but the inside is clean and cozy. They have good sushi and hibachi, with hibachi tables or regular dining room tables. Staff is friendly and efficient.

The food was good but the place was not clean. The bathrooms were gross and the amount of grease caked on to the grill was nasty. Stuff all over the walls. We used to eat here pretty regularly with no problems. I dont if they changed hands or what but they could do so much better.

This used to be a fantastic place. It is now just so so. The Hibachi presentation is half-assed at best and they seem to forget to take care of certain things each time I go. Last night they forgot to bring me my $55 in change so I forgot to leave a tip when I finally demanded it

Great food at bargain prices. Why pay $35 to $50 an entrée when you can pay $10 to $25. If you dont want to wait for the whole show, you can simply sit at a regular table and they will cook it in the back. Youll get your food quicker but if you want the show it wont cost extra.

I have dined here many times. The food is always wonderful, prices moderate, and fast service. The only problem is that so many people like it that there may be a wait in evenings. Next door to it is the Chocolate Box and a used bookstore past that. Lots of fun on one block.
