My wife and I have lived in the area for 6 years and have always wanted to stop by. On whim last week we stopped in around 6:30pm with our one year old son. Admittedly we probably looked a little out of place, Im a lawyer and was still in office attire. We sat down and were immediately met by a waitress and a tall bald man who provided us with a high chair for my son, a popsicle for my son, and two ice cold beers. We ordered burgers and they were AWESOME! The food, service, beer and prices were all top notch. Weve told all our friends and plan to stop in again. Great job!

What a great place this used to be! The manger was never rude she was always happy and very helpfully. The people that go in the bar are so very nice. The place has changed they seem to have a private club now. To bad cause a lot of good people have loved going there. People have stayed the same. The ownership just seemed to take a very bad fall. Girls that work there have no respect for the people or owners. OWNERS FAULT!! They need to have some one clean up the bar and the girls that work there!

I love this place. One: for being convenient to anyone who is in the South Lyon/ New Hudson area. And two: for the history. Did you know this is Michigans older bar? Also did you know was connected to the underground rail road? For anyone who is a history buff youll love this place. Ask the staff about some facts they seem like they love to talk about it and everyone is super friendly.

Such a great place, just wish it was closer to me. Went with a couple buddies after a funeral viewing(unfortunately) the happiness and cheerful mood and waitresses did all too well at making us crack some smiles with their beauty and charm. Jamie particularly, is gorgeous and so damn funny. Great food, great drink prices all in all we will definitely be back. Great cover music as well.

Most of the girls behind the bar are damn good servers. Attentive and quick. Some nights, the place is dead and other nights, its a blast. Food is good. If you smoke you are covered by a roof on the front porch. I like the place. I also liked the Red Oaks and Athenian lounge when they were around. People that knew those places can relate.

Sat out on the patio last night and listened to live music. Had two awesome sliders(sliders are way bigger than most) and a tall draft and my bill was only $9. Great staff right on top of everything. I often go there for Sunday breakfast. Portions are very generous and delicious, not like the typical Gordon Food service coney island crap.

We absolutely love this place!! We go for Sunday breakfast, they have hot fresh donuts (they are unbelievable and I dont particularly like donuts) complimentary and their breakfast burrito is fabulous. If youre going for lunch or dinner you must get the chicken wings! All the waitresses are wonderful too.

Best bar in the area! The burgers are awesome and the staff is great! This is the type of bar where people talk to each other instead of staring at TVs all night. Oldest bar in Michigan with all the historical character you would expect - check it out!

This historical building/restaurant has a great atmosphere and is the centerpiece of New Hudson. Not only is there an interesting history behind the place, but the burgers are great. The owners and staff are very friendly. I will be eating here a lot.

Not bad for a dive bar. Had 2 waitresses, the first lady was really good, attentive. The 2nd one was not and may have been inebriated (something was definitely not right). Cocktails were strong and food was typical bar food. But it was good bar food

The location is pretty big. The bar has sufficient seating. They had an awesome band playing (I believe the name was Parkside Wes) they played old Rock songs and were really good. The menu has different bar food items and they were good. The

Love the food however I have been here twice in the last week and both times the service has been bad. Completely understand staffed . Had to go inside both times to get service on the patio . Really wish they could fix this.

Hands down, best burgers in the area. Surprised to find that their breakfast food is equally delicious...(donuts and breakfast quesadilla were on point). Great staff, great atmosphere and glad I live close by.

Went on a Saturday night, was not very busy. Was very easy to get a seat. Bar tender was very pleasant to deal with. Also had a man playing the guitar, they also had a stripper pole.
