I decided to pick up a growler of their porter and smoked pepper for the Super Bowl after hearing about this place from some friends. I drove there from Ann Arbor, not really that far, but I was just hoping to NOT be disappointed by their brews. Settling down with my friends and opening the growlers up, the worries of disappointment quickly dissipated. The porter had a wonderful balance of chocolate/java flavors and their smoked pepper is nice. Sorry to use a generic term as "nice", it is a really good combination and unique, but I just dont think I could have TOO many cups of it. I would like it as an after-dinner drink, for sure. Highly recommend; the price is excellent (plus some for the growlers that can be refilled, of course) and I will definitely make a trip back down there for more.

I find this one of the best in the state. I have read some reviews from folks who like their beer to be clear and fizzy...this not the place for that. The beer is very British in style and superb. On that note, they use a proper Imperial pint, which offers superb value compared to most. As for appetizers, they have peanuts, Landjeager, and potato chips...the ultimate triumvirate of beer snacks... The sandwiches are great and the staff is wonderful!

Some friends and I meet there almost weekly for the last 4 years. Great beer & sandwiches. Most of the staff is friendly and great to talk too. Unfortunately we were recently accused of manipulating the television with a remote control app. Youd think after years of weekly visits with NO issues wed get the benefit of doubt. Not so. Thanks Cub fans....

Their sandwiches are spot on. The beer is great too, though sometimes a limited selection. Two-wheeler is my favorite and the perfect brew for hot summer days. The outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy it all on a nice day! Only downside is that the kitchen stops serving well before the bar closes, so keep that in mind if you want some munchies with your beer.

Awesome place! Beer is amazing!! Fantastic sandwiches!! My husband and I order different ones and split them because we want them all!! Fresh local ingredients. Soda is yummy. Very kid friendly (games, PB&J). Outdoor patio is cozy. Great local brewery that draws in people from all over. Highly recommend!!!

Took us a moment to figure out where to order, so we changed to the bar. Food was very tasty, Atmosphere was nice and we noticed family friendly. Primordial Porter was great and enjoyed the County Street Amber too. We will be back when in the area. Cant wait to try their other brews!!

If you love great craft beer this is your place. Very friendly staff will help you select just the right beer for your taste. The porter is one of the best craft porters in the Ann Arbor region. A really nice place to just hang out and have a couple of quality beers with friends.

Who knew good beer could be in walking distance of most Milan residents! This is a fun place to relax, visit with friends or to have an event. The owner and staff are great and accommodating. The beer is some of the best in SE MI. Ive never eaten there.

Probably the best bar in town; however it can get obnoxiously loud. The waitress dont serve to the table. And they are lacking on appetizers. The sandwiches and salads are pretty good, and they also have a pretty fun trivia every Thursday night.

Love this little hometown brewery. Good staple brews, awesome sandwiches! Farmers market on Wednesdays and trivia on Thursdays. The only nook in the city worth visiting (Milan Coffee Works and Motherloaf next store are awesome as well )

Great beer and sandwiches and right next to some of the best coffee in the county. The only mark against them is that they use the weird red Russian dressing instead of the mayo-based variety. Be warned!

The beer is really good, the sandwiches are tasty, the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is I wish they had more food choices. Neat family oriented atmosphere. My son likes their home made sodas.
