Love Swig, its one of my favorite places in the area. It can get quite busy, but its a pub. If youre in a hurry, you probably shouldnt be there in the first place. Their beer selection is probably the best in the area. They rotate the taps every week so if you come in once a week theyll have new stuff to try. I love the food. For lunch I get the chunks (boneless wings) in hot garlic parmesan. If youre looking for something more substantial, the sausage platter lets you try 3 of their homemade sausage (andouille is the best imo) with some good sides. Its a bit pricey but no worse than anywhere else in downtown Perrysburg. If you love beer and interesting pub fare, check them out.

On my 1st visit with friends we enjoyed our table on the front patio & our cocktails &appetizer were great! We were very dissatisfied with the service!. which seems to many peoples opinions on these reviews. When I arrived I wasnt greeted by anyone for 5 min or so. I had to ask if I should seat myself & continued to wait until the hostess returned to help us.Our server didnt seem interested in our table & left all of our empty plates and glasses in front of us on our small table. another guy stood around for 1/2 hr talking to 1 patron. Not sure that Ill return to try the entrees because of the service. Maybe you should change the name to Grumpys Perrysburg.

Swig was busy on a Saturday night so we thought wed stop in and try it. There were 3 bartenders/servers behind the bar all chatting amongst themselves with thirsty patrons waiting to be served. When one of them finally did come around they approached my group with a rude and condescending tone. There was no effort to explain the beer menu and they wouldnt serve Fat Tire even though they had a Fat Tire light proudly on display. We ended up leaving due to the poor attitude and service of the bartender. If you hate your job then find a new one. I will not recommend Swigs to any friends and family in the area.

Great new addition to downtown Perrysburg. Only been there once but the night I was there it was super crowded, as its a small place, and we had to sit a little too close to the live singer/guitarist as well as other patrons but that was tolerable all things considered. We heard they specialized in sausages and my wife got a platter of 3 different hot dogs. They were just average. I got a platter of 3 types of sausages and it was good. They also have a good beer selection. I would recommend Swig.

All food is made in house. I have tried most of their offerings and they were all delicious. They offer 5-6 house made sausage style thay are all excellent. The draft beer selection is the best I have found in the area and it changes constantly. They also have a cooler full of microbrew beer bombers and a good selection of wines. If you make it through all of the above offerings then you should finish up with their Chocolate Covered Bacon and Stout Beer Sundae. It is to die for...literly.

Great little spot that we happened upon while driving from Cleveland to Chicago. Good beer selection (although the beer menu is a receipt printed out with no descriptions). The house made sausages were great and quite reasonably priced considering the size of them. The Swig Salad looked great and my wife confirmed that it was especially with the Scotch egg in it. The bartender/waitress was excellent. Very enjoyable lunch and highly recommended by me.

If you are looking for stunning decor, this is not your place, however if you are seeking sandwich type food at great prices, it is hard to beat. I actually ordered mussels, which I was hesitant to try there, however they were ultra fresh, and taste was wonderful. Everything has large portions, and I have never been disappointed with anything I have ever ordered. Large beer selection, and also a very nice outdoor patio, that has live music.

Food and beer was good, when it actually arrived. Took me 15 mins to order my first beer and took twice as long to get it. Food took awhile, but they were packed by then so i forgave that. The french fries were wonderful and the handcrafted hot dog was decent. The server was nice, but odd. Did not know how to take him. Asked for a very small container of homemade ketchup, not knowing a 1/4 oz container cost .79. Will I be back? Probably not.

The food was great. Loved the French fries and signature ketchup. I ordered the Cleveland which is a bacon wrapped hotdog. It was very good but I was disappointed, the bacon was on the side of the hotdog and bun (was not wrapped around hotdog). If it would have been wrapped like the menu said I would have gave 5 stars but it was not so I gave 4. Sounds petty I know but I was really looking forward to the hotdog wrapped around it.

Friday lunch time, bartender has full bar area, all inside dining table & has to make drinks for all outside servers tables. Why??? She (Julia) was working her tail off! Its no wonder she didnt get our order right, then added a round to our bill!! It was corrected with no issue. $10 for a cheeseburger on a toasted bun??? Dont see what the appeal is. Wont go out of my way again to visit nor give good recommendations

This happened 6 months ago but it was our last time eating there. We sat outside for lunch around 2 or 3pm and someone on the outside patio also eating was smoking the entire time we were trying to eat and rather than any wait staff or manager ask them to step outside the dining area no one said anything, it was not a pleasant meal. The food has been good when we have eaten there but this experience ruined it for us.

Swig is my favorite restaurant in Perrysburg. Great downtown location, house-made gastropub fare, impressive and rotating beer selection, live music, and nice outdoor seating. You have to try the hot feta dip and beer battered gouda. And while it might not seem like it, this is actually a good spot for kids too. We regularly take the kiddos to get grilled cheese and sweet potato tots.

Swig is a long-standing local favorite, and rightfully so. Their beer selection is extensive, as theyre known for, and cocktail menu is decent enough. The food here is better than what youd expect from bar food, but there are much better options in downtown Perrysburg. Patio seating is really a nice option on a warm summer night and most definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Great little gem in downtown Perrysburg. I would recommend this to anyone (men and woman; young adult to elders). They have a very unique and extensive beer selection. The food has its own unique spin on it, but not so much that it was weird. My friend is the pickiest eater ever and enjoyed this restaurant. You should expect to after food + beer + tip to pay about $15 a person.

Great atmosphere. My food was excellent and they had an extensive list of beers on tap to choose from. The service was courteous and fast. I sat on the patio and enjoyed some live music while I ate. Very impressed. I was just stopping over for the night on my way from Kentucky, home to Ontario, Canada. I was delighted to find this local gem.
