I started going here when I first moved here since last year. The place is really nice and clean with great service. Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. Tried the pad ped, pad Thai, most of the appetizers, and a few others things friends ordered. Started trying other places because the ingredients arent very fresh, and considering the price is about twice the normal amount at most places thats unacceptable. Theres tons of other places in the area that do Thai better, cheaper, and with larger portions. Wont name any cause then itd seem like I am a competitor bashing them. My thoughts on why this place has such good reviews. Well its definitely a mental thing, most people figure because its more expensive and really clean that it must be good. Just like buying an expensive bottle of wine over an average one, people like to think they are getting what they paid for and trying to justify their spending. I am a huge Thai food and have ate at about 30 different ones on lots of diferent places. Even cook it at home too.

the best take out pad thai(medium with tofu) Ive ever had. Taste was perfect. They nailed it. I can eat Alot and I only got though half of it. It was well worth the money. the spring rolls on the other hand ..not so much.. because of the danty size and only 2 of them? ..not the texture. beautiful texture. Not bad flavor. My fiance didnt like his sweet and spur chicken that was over 14.00 so that was disappointing too. But I think it just wasnt for him. nothing was technically wrong with it. He was expecting Chinese food sweet and sour. not a bunch of sausey veggies with a bit of chicken, no breading. It was about 29 dollars for what is in the pic. next time Ill get pad thai and he will get his sweet and sour chicken from the Chinese food establishment. problem solved over here! =) Im excited to have my left overs for lunch..loved that the take out came in a great resealable container. My fiance has traveled the country, I accompanied him. We know what were talking about to a good degree..

Wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight and were surprised to walk away with a bill of less than $30. The food was delicious, decor similar to other nice places Ive been to, and the service very courteous. I had the Thai Northern Kaw Pad with scallops and medium spice; wife had the Thai Orchid Chicken done mild. There was just enough of my meal for me to very comfortably finish it all. Wife had leftovers and her meal tasted just as good as mine did. We see friends at Used on New Books across the street every couple weeks for Thursday movie night. Well be back for certain.

the food is great. but that doesnt give them an excuse for upping their prices by 20% or more in one menu update. shame shame. we would go here once or twice a month for the curry duck. but to go from 13.95 to $17. shame on you! Ill buy a duck at randazzos and figure out how to make it myself. Check the old menu. some increases are higher than 30%. I have both menus to prove it. and I remember when they ran out of menus for the updated version cause I was 5 minths pregnant. I just gave birth 1/8. SHAME!!!

I have been to over a dozen Thai food restaurants and this is the worst I have ever had. Ordered the hot and sour soup. It was awful. Just tasted like a bowl of lemon juice. The chicken pad thai had absolutely no flavor at all. Had 2 orders. One Mild and one medium. The mild was completely flavorless and the medium was just hot with no flavor. I am very bummed because I came here a few years ago and it was great! Dont know what happened but I will never go again and will deter others from going as well.

Absolutely disgusting food, I ordered an APPETIZER FOR $5 and they cant understand English, so I ended up paying $17 for an intestinal ulcer from their peanut curry. The food was definitely not prepared right. I was pooping only blood for 2 whole days. My friend ate some, and now hes having the exact same problems with it. Im seriously going to call the BBB and get this place shut down for real!

Worst service ever. I called to place an order and after calling multiple times to get through I was greeted by a very unpleasant woman with an attitude. Poor customer service. Didnt even want to order from here after that. If i could give ZERO stars I would do so gladly. I DONT RECOMMEND

Staff was incredibly rude and was annoyed that I wanted to do a carry out. I asked for another Thai Tea while waiting and I got " We Dont Give Free Refills" OK so Ill pay, We Do Accept Credit Card Under 7" OK people just trying to give you money after purchasing 35.00 in food.

BEST Thai I have ever had. Hands down best curry and pad thai ever. Even my boyfriend loves this place and he hates any Asian food from anywhere else I have ever made him try. Now he begs to come here for curry fried rice!

A staple in our restaurant line up. ALWAYS clean, great food and service, always fresh. Very close and priced reasonably for the portions served. Recommend to everyone! Dont be afraid to order the spicy!!!!

The best Thai Food in the Mount Clemens area... That includes Clinton Township and Chesterfield. The pad thai is awesome, and so are their rice dishes. If you like thai, this is a place to try.

Thai Orchid has amazing food! I prefer the curry dishes. The Tom Kha Kai soup and crispy rolls are my other favorites. The wait staff is quick and efficient .
