This was officially the worst curry Ive ever had. My girlfriend and I both ordered curry, and although we ordered different kinds, we were served the exact same thing. Both dishes were tasteless and the curry had the consistency of chicken stock. It tasted like someone poured coconut milk into boiling water. It was also covered with globs of oil just sitting on top. The watery consistency caused it to run right off of the chicken and peppers and the temperature scalded my mouth on the first bite. I cant believe anybody would serve it to a customer with a straight face. When I told the waitress how we felt, the owner offered to cook up a new batch of herself. About 5 minutes later, yes 5 minutes, I got a takeout order which looked completely different than what I was originally served. I appreciated it, but I dont know how someone can possibly prepare an entirely new batch in 5 minutes, and it was a dark green color despite the fact that I ordered red curry. The service was fine, but the food was a complete waste of money.

First time we tried this place we stood at door for 10 mins before we were even acknowledged. We left as we never were. The 2nd time was take out. The order was wrong. The good that was correct had ingredients that were not listed..like mushrooms.... The containers were half empty. The curry chicken was decent at best. The chicken fried rice tasted like mush and grease (worst I had ever tasted). And we didnt get our rice that came with the meal. By far the WORST Thai food EVER. The containers were half full. For $50 out was way overpriced and a waste of money. I strongly recommend not eating here..

My husband and I went to dinner at Papaya for the 2nd time and it was FABULOUS - Im already talking about going back! We started our meal with the Spicy Tuna Roll and New York Roll - Both melted in our mouths - Delicious Sushi! For dinner I had the General Tsos Chicken and my hubby had a beef dish - Both incredible. The food tastes so fresh and clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and our whole experience was wonderful! Not to mention, for apps, entrees, drinks & 20% tip, our bill was a little over $50 - AWESOME! I would highly recommend Papaya to anyone!

Middle of the road Thai place. To draw in the non adventurous crowd they also have the popular Americanized Chinese /Japanese favorites. Got the Pad Thai and a Red Curry. Both were decent. Nothing to write home about, but good enough that if you have an Asian craving you could satisfy it here. Pad Thai had good heat (we asked for it spicey) but just average, and curry could have used more coconut flavor. Service was good, the waitress was super friendly.

Ordered a couple of special maki sushi rolls to go. I was told that they were much bigger than the normal maki rolls which is why they cost twice as much. Got home to find out that they were just average size. Glad I paid $25 for $12 worth of sushi. Quality was ok. Ive had just as good sushi at a china buffet. If you want amazing sushi for the same price go to the slippery mermaid.

This is one of the finest Thai restaurant we have been. We cook Thai food at home and have tried pretty much all vegetarian recipes. This place has lots of option for vegetarians. Service is good. Most of curry is enough for two people. Do try their curries with brown rice. I have been twice and looking forward to third :)

The Thom Yum Soup is simply the best! Made fresh, from scratch (per the server) every day. The pad thai is the best Ive ever had (and I have high standards). The service is friendly. The plating is beautiful. Food is made fresh, but you dont have to wait forever for it. Amazing amazing amazing stuff.

number 1 bad
oh my god I went there yesterday to try the food and I was shocked that an asian restaurant could be this bad...the spicy basil fried rice was not spicy even after I said 10/10...it was bland..there was lot of raw onions in the rice...the kids lo mein was bitter and the chicken in it was rubbery...

One if my favorite Thai restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. Friendly staff, really nice flavor of all the dishes Ive had, different than other Thai restaurants. I take clients here when they are in town and all of them have loved it. They really have something special here.

Been living in Pittsburgh for almost 2 years now and Im mad I didnt try this place sooner! They have a great, affordable lunch special with vegetarian substitutions. I have been missing the taste of Thai food since moving here but their dishes hit the spot.

Menu is lackluster. Nothing seems authentic to Thai or Chinese cuisine. Definitely everything is white-washed and bland. Servers were very inattentive, we had to get our own menus after we were seated. Disappointed that this place is so highly rated.

Just went for bubble tea. Not good at all. The tapioca pearls are great, just the right texture and chewiness. But the liquid drink is just a powder that tastes very medicinal, gross. I just ate the pearls and threw out the drink. Not worth $4.

Very friendly staff. Food is quite good and the prices are reasonable for good Asian cuisine. Theres a nice atmosphere with the decorations. The more you look around, the more displays you will see. Great place for lunch.

Best Pad Thai Ive ever had. Ive eaten Thai at restaurants around the world and this is top notch for a good price. Also, the sushi bar is really good too. Order the Super Pad Thai and you cant go wrong.

Good mix of thai and Chinese food with some popular Americanized options for those that are less adventurous and want something they are familiar with and authentic dishes for those who want the real deal.

The food is spicy but good. My colleague and I were wondering though why the server was in such a hurry to get us out of the restaurant as the tables were mostly empty (it was a weekday evening)

Havent been too pleased with their offerings. If youre really craving some Pad Thai it does the job, but overall I found the food too greasy and flavors arent balanced.

Our experience was great. The Sweet and sour chicken was crispy and terrific. Our waitress was kind and the owner, Amy, was magnificent! We will definitely be back!
