I ordered carry-out tonight which ended up being a big disappointment. I ordered the roadhouse burger w/ fries. Honest to god - there is no way in hell those fries came from that kitchen. I opened the container and thought it was joke. It was McDonalds fries in a fancy carry-out container. Same taste, same look, same everything. I mean if they honestly whipped those bad boys up back in the kitchen then they have some serious disconnect with the food quality and prices they put out. Burgers are usually a no brainer. Usually. The "brioche bun" was nothing but a regular ol burger bun. The meat was some what cold and SO CHEWY that I ended up throwing half of it away. It was such a disappointment. Listen, Im all for paying the price of amazing cuisine but this was unacceptable. I noticed they had at least 5 different locations around Michigan. So, why not focus all your energy into one restaurant rather than opening up these restaurants that are barely subpar? Next time I will definitely just stick with Culvers whenever Im craving a burger on the go.

WeI really enjoy the chicken alfredo pizza here but depending how it is prepared, it can be overdone. Recently, on a busy Friday night, I decided the pizza was too done and asked for it to be remade. I NEVER do this and felt embarrassed but both the manager and counter person were so nice and they didnt make me feel bad for having it done right. Actually Jessica, the counter person, pretty much insisted that I get it remade and the manager chimed in to give the option of a credit for the next time I visited or remaking it. I decided to wait for it to be remade. The pizza was ready in just over ten minutes and they threw in some cookies for my time. In the future I know to ask to cook it on the lighter side. Thanks for making it great!

I met family here not knowing what to expect as Im not from the area. I liked the decor, food presentations, and overall upscale atmosphere of the restaurant. Certainly this is a happening place to take someone you wish to impress. It wasnt a perfect experience, however. While my steak tasted ok, it was way overcooked (I like medium not well done) and my wifes steak was even worse - she didnt even eat more than 2 bites (it was like leather). The potatoes and bread were fantastic, though. Id say it was an $8 steak if I had gotten it at any dive, but certainly not worth the $25+ it cost when I got the bill. Maybe it was the cooks first day or this wasnt his specialty. Perhaps next time Ill order it rare or get something else entirely.

For starters, I was a patron of this restaurant for many years. I have enjoyed excellent service and food products .... until last night. Last night i received an order with a severely under cooked steak (I requested medium and was served rare and bloody), but the mash potatoes were served cold. I stated my disapproval with my meal and it was removed from my bill. I was presented with a printed bill for $36.30 and paid with a $100.00 bill. With no explanation, I was presented with $31.70 in change. When I requested an explanation a manager attempted to say it was my fault. Bad service, Bad food, and COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT.!

We were surprised getting there to see valet parking for such a low scale restaurant. With the average dinner at $17.00 plus, the portion sizes were unbelievably small and didnt even include fries or a salad! The meal wouldnt even fill you up! We had reservations for 10 and they only leave one loaf of bread to split between us and not to mention it was cold! We were set us up in a room upstairs that the ceiling sat so low on one side a couple of us hit our heads on it! The upstairs bathroom was in the same room as another with guest having their dinner! How gross is that!! This placed is a rip off and we wouldnt go back!

I have only been to this location s couple of times and this by far was the worst! I ordered the blackened whitefish and asked if it could be lightly blackened. I was told yes. It came out dry, burnt and about the smallest piece of whitefish I have ever seen! I asked for it to be remade broiled! This was even worse. It was totally over done, dry, and burnt! And smaller than the first piece! $19? The manager corrected it with a beautiful piece of walleye! However I will not be back! I told them to fire that first chef!

We have eaten there many times for 5 or 6 years ..Always have had decent food ..As with many places sometimes are better than others and occasionally one of the party has been slightly disappointed .. Overall though , we continue to eat there . Prices are slightly high for the quality and venue , but not really pricey .. The Harvest Pilaf side a favorite of mine ..The house salad is also very good .. The WhiteFish is usually my choice for an Entre .

The food was terrific! The service was awful. In the staffs defence the restaurant was very busy however my girlfriend and I Sat through a 50 minute dinner never being checked on...the only time we seen our waitress is when she drop things off and she literally didnt even say anything... I had to go to the bar to get us more drinks... Where I also waited there for about 6 minutes to get to drinks. But the food was really good :-)

You cannot find a better restaurant to dine. This place is awesome, the food is absolutely superb and the staff very friendly. I could not believe the price for our dinner, EXTREMELY reasonable for the portions received. In my opinion they have the best salad bar in Michigan, and trust me I have frequent enough restaurants to know. If you have not dined at this place, you are truly missing a treat. It is a hidden jewel!

I visited the area for business one week and I was recommended here for dinner. The beer list was great and there was a variety of food. I will say a lot of it though was on the heavier/creamier side (welcome to Midwest living...which I love being from the Midwest!) I think where this place really shines though is their service. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive. Plus, you get to color with crayons on the table!

Bread is great and fish-based dishes are awful, but dont go there for steak! They had to re-cook our steak 3x and still didnt get it right but I ate it since I was hungry after having waited an hour. The worst part is that I eat my steaks blue rare, so it only takes a couple of seconds to cook one! To their credit, they did take it off of my bill, but still - go there for seafood/fish!

My family of five went for late lunch on Saturday. This used to be a good place, but now they dont seem to care. My Daughter ordered a salad which she never received (but we were charged for). My Wifes potatoes were cold. My fish was so over cooked it was inedible. Our server never checked on us. It was not that busy. We will not be back. There are better choices in the area.
