Started with the age dashi tofu, which was pretty standard but executed well. Next, we ordered the hana veggie roll which was by far the best thing we had that night. We also ordered the veggie combo which comes with a spicy tofu roll, fried sweet potato roll and an avacado cucumber roll. The spicy tofu roll could have used more heat. Perhaps instead of just plain tofu, maybe marinate in spicy sesame oil? The sweet potato roll was delicious (we got ours without cream cheese because were vegan). The avacado cucumber roll was alright but I question why its be deep fried. Non the less, great new experience, good service. Will give it 5 stars when they get their liquor license....sushi isnt sushi without kirin (beer) or some nihonshu (sake)!!

Visiting from Florida and not knowing the area, was told by a local that Sushi Hana was a most! So I decided to try it and oh boy! A very lovely place, a wonderful atmosphere and the sushi is very good(Lollipop and Porsche the ones I had), also the Katsu soba is a most and the Ika salad is very simple but it packs a punch of amazing flavors! Would definitely recommend this place to friends back home and looking forward to coming back here.

I have had sushi in many great American cities, and a friend of mine told me that there was this great sushi place on Woodward. I was skeptical but gave it a try...I want to be completely clear here: THIS PLACE IS EXCELLENT. I went there with a guy who had just had premium sushi on the coast of California two days before and he said that this little place in Bloomfield Hills is even better. If you like sushi, GO HERE.

I just ordered the chirashi bowl, and it came with only 3 different types of fish, a shrimp, and a raw egg. All of the cuts of fish were small, and very jagged. The bowl came with just a bowl of miso soup, no salad. The price wasnt listed, and I was shocked at 18 dollars. I also ordered a spicy Tuna roll, which was very small and 6 dollars. I would never go back. Way too much cost for way too little food.

I have been trying different sushi places through this area and this has hands down been the freshest tasting sushi that Ive tried around here. On top of this the service is rather quick in comparison to other sushi places near here. Service is really great because its a rather small restaurant so they dont have a very large crowd to take care of. I will definitely be coming here again.

Hands down the best and freshest sushi I have EVER had! (and I grew up eating sushi regularly in New York). Chef Woojin or Jin for short is extremely friendly and very passionate about his craft. I would recommend the dining experience here to anyone I know (and sit at the bar if you can!) PS: to all the haters on small $6 tuna rolls... thats par for the course. Good tuna isnt cheap.

Best Sushi spot in Michigan. Ive been to dozens. Its a small place, but the decor is on point with wood tables and beams, a variety of plates, and the sushi bar is packed with fresh fish. Thursday they get in a special selection that you can ask about. Prices are fair, and presentation is excellent. Ive been taking friends and family here as a treat for at least a year now.

Fantastic and friendly service. The decoration of the restaurant is very nice and truly thought out. The sushi and food is all phenomenal. Even the miso soup is significantly better than other sushi places around. The tofu inside of the soup is soft and creamy. Love the place, will definitely be back soon!

This is my very favorite sushi spot in the metro area. The chef loves to make beautiful plates and its so fun to see his presentations. If there is room, I love to sit at the bar because he will slip you little pieces of fish or tidbits he had made. Everything is delicious, the only downside is no alcohol

I live in San Fransico. The sushi here is on par with the best. I believe the new ownership is much better than it was 2 years ago. I talked with the owner, he said that he bought the restaurant a year and a half ago. It looks like its been renovated now and the place looks great.

Best sushi Ive found in Michigan. The Uni, when available is delicious, the sushi is fresh, the toro just melted in my mouth. We love sitting at the sushi bar and chatting with the chefs. The staff is friendly and helpful with sushi selections.
