My first AND LAST experience at Morning Glory! I walk into this beautiful establishment to find myself about to be astonished. I walked up to the counter and was ignored by three people behind the counter. I ask for a cannoli and was once again overlooked. Finally I gain the attention of one girl. She seemed almost intoxicated with her speech and responses. I asked her if she had iced coffee, she rolled her eyes and said "well…yeah…no!" and walks away! I was stunned! I asked another employee for the cannoli and after much time he got it. I didnt get any coffee because none of the employees wanted to help. On my way out, I met the worst employee of all, a short dark haired women yelling and screaming. She screamed like she was about to have a myocardial infarction. She yelled and kicked and screamed like a baby. She looked to be the manager no less! I quickly ran to my car and drove to the police station. I was very excited about having a new coffee shop in the Hill and was counting the days down. What a disappointment! I have never felt so unwelcome in my life! If you want coffee, go to Starbucks (at least they are friendly and have more that one coffee choice). If you want a cannoli, go to Bommaritos. If you want real pastries, go to Josefs. If you want to feel undesirable, unwelcome, disgusted and, disappointed, go to Morning Glory.

Adorable cafe and bakery! Ive always had good to great service here... not sure what happened to the other reviewers. Staff is young, maybe a bit inexperienced, but its always been nice people and quick service when I visit (Saturday mornings). LOVE their croissant sandwiches, along with a coffee and maybe a sweet treat (popovers, beignets!). IMO its a good value, too - esp given the location. Patio is the cutest spot to enjoy your coffee & newspaper. Great people watching too!

Lovely spot in the heart of "The Hill," great for a quick coffee or a more leisurely morning. The bakerys forté is cake -- delicious, moist, creamy cakes, which can be custom made in fun, zany combinations of colors and designs. I recently ordered a carrot cake with blue frosting, green writing and confetti sparkles -- truly the hit of the party. It was the most delicious carrot cake Ive had in ages! Highly recommend for any party or special occasion.

A wonderful addition to "the Hill". I go 2 to 3 times per week for lunch - love the salads and sandwiches. Ive recently started picking up my breads there each week and have been happy with my selections overall. My only issue intially was that some of the employees werent "overly friendly", but it seems that theyve worked out the staffing kinks and the experience is much better. Plus, who can argue with a coffee shop that sells wine as well!

Its small, but nice. The soups were good. I got a chicken salad sandwich on a huge croissant and it was pretty good too. But I couldnt just get the chicken salad because some of the items like sandwiches and salads are pre-made and packaged. A little more cafeteria style than cafe. Also the area near the front door was a little cold even though we were sitting right next to the fireplace. Still I really like it.

i love it, coffee is okay, but the sweets are great. not overly sugary, just right (i dont like sweet stuff). i actually reminds me of the coffee shops id frequent in china, very nice. well decorated and cozy. the service wasnt bad but i wasnt impressed, nothing special really. id defenetly come again as i like the enviorment and snacks, coffee could be better but isnt necessarly bad (just average tbh)

When I visited the Morning Glory bakery, the service was excellent! The employees that were there when I visited were delighted to help me create my cake. Before purchasing my cake, I purchased a few cupcakes and tasted everything. The vanilla cupcakes with butter cream icing are delicious. It is one of the best bakeries I have ever been too!

Not happy at all happy lately with Morning Glory Bakery. The last couple of times I bought mini tarts and they were stale. Today I bought a couple of lemon tarts and they were not fresh at all, they were like rubber almost like fake food. They appeared very old.

Miss their larger food menu, but great almond milk latte and they allow small dogs on the patio which is enclosed with a fire place in the winter, great local spot, friendly staff, amazing decorative cakes, and always something new to try.

Cute quaint place. Cupcakes looked scrumptious however ever single one I got was stale. decided to get a mid day snack for my staff, but everything went in the trash. The person that waited on me wasnt too friendly either.

Love their baked goods. Sadly their coffee is not as good as I had hoped -- brewed coffee especially (espresso is a little better). With a coffee upgrade I would bump up another star.

The cake was absolutely delicious however I had no box to put the top of my cake in when they delivered the cake. I would think that that is something that is too important to forget.

I find the atmosphere to be more stark than cozy. The coffee is good and the staff are friendly. I dont find it comfortable for longer visits with friends.
