My first visit was on Mothers day this year but my daughters had been a couple times previously. We knew there would be a wait and 45min -hour didnt seem unreasonable at all. My oldest daughter and I arrived first (at 5:30ish), so we went to have a drink at the bar to pass the time until my youngest arrived and our table was ready. After about 40min our buzzer went off. We went to the hostess stand only to be told that it was an accident and our table wasnt ready. We went back to the bar and after another 30min realized we still hadnt been called. We went back to the hostess stand and the room had several open tables. The waitress and hostess at the stand clearly realized we were forgotten. They escorted us to the bell tower and sat us. We werent happy, we were so cut off from everyone and in a small, dark space. The waitress seemed annoyed with us from the beginning. She got our orders wrong a couple times before leaving the table, then came back a few more times to tell us things we had ordered werent available. Once our food came, we realized it was still wrong but we finally gave up and just ate what we were brought because it was nearly 9:30pm. The saving grace was the food (fish tacos). They were delicious, cooked and seasoned well. Ill probably give it another try for dinner sometime but not around a special occasion.

First time here at got a smart ass young waiter that couldnt stop flirting with his table of girls long enough to greet us in a timely manor, food took forever and was not hot. We got up and payed for the iced tea we had and the manager came right over to see what was wrong. We explained the situation and he offered two free meals to come back and try again, I declined since I was so mad at the time, he insisted we give them another chance at another time. So we did, a month later we went back and it was very good... I gave 5 stars because of my recent visit. Update, went back for the 3rd time and the experience was once again sub-par. The waitress was looking around at her friends as she was talking our order, never made eye contact with either of us once. The order was incorrect since she wasnt paying attention to what she was doing, figured that was going to happen.. The food Took 25 minutes to come and was mediocre at best. They should hire older more experienced waitstaff, the children they put in charge of serving the food will be their down fall, but they look young, hip and trendy... So out of 3 different trips, they failed twice. Definitely will not go back.

Been here twice in last month. Gave them a second chance today because the food is good and again the service is HORRIBLE. Exact same experience both times weve been here. Waited 10 minutes for a waitress to come to us. Waited another 5 minutes for to bring back a beer menu. Waited another 6 minutes to bring a beer. 21 minutes to get a beer? The first time we went I walked up to the bar and got my own beer. The worst part is that once we get waited on the server knows were unhappy then rushes out the door. Never asks if we want another beer or anything. Just quickly gets our order out to is then our bill. So then I feel like were being rushed when all I really want is to be greeted and good service from the beginning. And of course the table that shows up 10 minutes after us gets served right away. I give it one star because the food is good but to me service is most important. Id rather go to a place with good service and mediocre food versus poor service and good food.

When we have something to celebrate the Woodshop in Clarkston is one of our favorite places to eat . We recently discovered the Fire Hall ( same owner, similar menu). When my brother and his wife were over from Europe, we took them to the Fire Hall for a nice dinner. The brisket has always been one of our favorites. Three of us ordered the brisket, and after quite a long wait food was served: The brisket was cold , dry and was not like what we expected to get ( for $16.95 not a cheap meal). We asked to talk to the manager after their only excuse was to offer one (!!) $3.50 dessert . She told us she was aware there was an issue with the brisket(!!) , as she had had multiple complaints about it to be dry and tough.. That left us kind of flabbergasted : So they knew about it, but still kept it on the menu.. Absolutely unacceptable.. Horrible experience , spending over $60 on bad brisket !!

Was there last Saturday and not a good experience. We were early enough to get right in and then had to wait 30 to 45 min just to get a appetizer. Then another 30 minutes to get our dinner. People that came in after us were served before us. Once our dinner came food and bread was burned. Asked for a new bun, toasted but not burned and it took 10 minutes just to get a bun. By then the food had cooled. Was not asked how are meal was until the end and when I told the waitress said sorry and offered a new dessert. She said if I told her the meal was bad she would have brought me something else. It would have happened if she stopped by and asked how it was - but she did not. Not sure if I will be back and am spreading the word.

We really enjoyed our first time here. The old fire hall in Fenton was fixed up and converted into a giant restaurant/bar. There are three levels that you can sit on with a roof area, and outside seating at the front. The service was fast and our waitress was very nice. Things are a bit on the pricey side as its more of an "upscale" type of place in downtown Fenton. Food was quality and worth the price. My only real complaint is that the bathroom floors are extremely slippery, even when dry. Who chose this floor?? Its like walking on graphite. Seriously, if youve been drinking I suggest being very careful before you bust an ankle or something. Other than that we loved it!

Overhyped food menu. My girlfriend and I were very excited to try out the Fenton Fire Hall and from the moment we arived to the moment we left it was a awful experience. We got seated in a tiny cramped corner of a very loud room. (Their only room). Our waitress forgot our appetizer, then forgot to refill our drinks after walking by us and talking to us several times. After we asked about our app she seemed annoyed at us. The first time we got our refill was when we finished our overpriced, overhyped burger and fries. Will not be coming back and would like to note that I am currently sitting at a coney and have recieved much better service and better quality food.

Food was Fine. The place is loud. Too busy, causing service to be below average. So it was a Saturday night. Service shouldnt suffer. I have been hearing people talk about this place for years. Wife and I finally headed over there. No place to put helmets or riding jackets. Food came in an acceptable time. Waitress was short when we asked her for recommendations. The menus were falling apart and dirty. The food was nothing to rave about but it was enjoyable. Id only go back on a non weekend to give it a second chance. Stars based on. Overall experience. Not horrible, but far from great.
