Great coffee, horrible service. Id have given 3 stars, but the coffee for the pour overs was pre-ground and portioned in plastics cups. When you pay $4-5 for a coffee, a large part of what youre paying for is the freshness. While it could have been ground that morning, it could just as easily been ground days ago. When I asked for a couple cubes of ice in my pour over, the barista recommended that the extraction method would cool the coffee enough, though not as eloquently. I told him Ive had plenty of pour overs and I would like a little ice to cool it down. He replied that I was asking for an iced coffee, so I again had to clarify that I wanted a hot coffee, not iced, with just a couple ice cubes. He gave me a "suit yourself, idiot" glare and became noticeably irritated with me. When they finished brewing, he set the cups out with coffee spilled down the side and mumbled which coffee was which. When I reached for what I thought was a napkin to clean the cups, he rudely snapped to inform me that I what I was reaching for was a tea filter and that Id have to go across the room to get a napkin to clean up the mess he made. After all this, I took the coffees out to my husband - low and behold they were the perfect temperature for both of us to drink immediately, as we wanted. Funny that I would know how I like my coffee. I cant tell you which blend we preferred, because I have no idea which was which. I suggest maybe finding some employees who wont take it personally when someone orders their coffee the way they like it. Or at least one that can bear in mind that at 8am, before having any coffee, guests usually prefer not to be berated for their preferences.

I wont get my spices from anywhere else! The quality of the spices (and tea!) are top notch and they have a huge selection. The coffee is also excellent and I love the Chili Mocha! The staff are very nice, helpful, and always make me smile by remembering me :)

Great addition to the Germack family. Coffee is good. Additionally, if you are a local, they have coffee tokens for sale. They have a wide variety of tea and spices. Green unroasted coffee is available if you are interested in roasting beans at home.
