I have been here once before and the food was delicious, however after tonight I probably will not go back. My wife and I walked in and the were busy, there were a couple people waiting and more walked in behind us, and a woman said to the crowd it would be about 10 minutes, which isnt an issue, places with good food get busy. After a few minutes they started seating people that walked in after us because they had a bigger group, which is also fine. What is not fine was the fact they contued to seat people that walked in after us until we were the last people waiting and then kept walking past us without once acknowledging the fact that they had two customers standing in front of them. After waiting 15 minutes and being completely ignored with the exception of the initial shout to the group at the door when we walked in, we decided to leave. I told the girl at the counter we decided to leave because they seated everybody that walked in after us and then completely ignored us and her response was "why didnt you say anything?". Sorry, but its not my fault that employees ignore customers at the door nor is it my fault that this place cant have a simple pad of paper to take customers names and the order they walked in the door. I shouldnt have to say anything to be greeted nor should I have to say anything to get seated before the people standing behind me. Honestly, the reason I didnt say anything about the group of three that walked in behind me yet were seated first was because they were older people and I dont mind letting them go first as long as I at least get acknowledged while I wait. I expect more from a restaurant ran by a chef with so many awards, you would think that they would at least have a seating list.

My fiancé and I went out to dinner here last night after purchasing a Groupon for this restaurant. We bought the Groupon that is worth $36 for 4 people. We had informed the waitress that we had a Groupon and our bill eventually came out to be $40. She then told us we couldnt use our Groupon because there were only 2 of us and it says there needs to be 4 people. Im sorry, but thats ridiculous. As long as our bill is high enough (which it was) we should have been able to use it. Plenty of other restaurants have let us do this. We ended up having to pay the bill without using the Groupon which defeats the whole purpose of our visit. We never got an explanation from a manager either. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and it was very disheartening. I will be getting a refund for the Groupon and will not return to this restaurant. Customer service is obviously not a priority.

I give Gnocchi a 3 1/2 star. We were looking for Italian that wasnt priced like Carrabas or Olive Garden and ended up paying the same or more. Everything was a hit or miss: The salad was just mixed greens from a bag with 1 grape tomato and 1 cucumber slice. The house dressing was very good. The garlic toast was too hard to bite, but the rolls were to die for. The chicken parmesan was a pre-breaded patty, but topped with delicious cheese and marinara. I loved the gnocchi; my husband said it wasnt hearty enough ( they arent made from the traditional potato). The cannoli crust was a little too hard, but the filling was delicious. Just too many misses for the price we paid. The decor is in desperate need of updating. Honestly, I think this would be a perfect pick for Gordon Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares!

I came here with my family for a Fathers Day meal, and this place is fantastic! I really enjoyed the salad with the homemade Italian dressing, and the portabella spinach gnocchi was excellent. Im not even typically a gnocchi fan; its that good. Even the turtle cheesecake dessert was quite good. The waitress was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It doesnt look like much from the outside and would probably be easy to pass up, but I could definitely recommend trying it at least once.

make sure youre careful when you order because the head chef is a pompous jerk who gets super offended when you dont like an entree, dont try to trade it out for something you MIGHT like though, hell just make you pay for both and then tell you about how the original meal was perfect because hes "won awards" for it. the server was really nice but cannot juggle literally 3 two-tops. i dont mind paying for the $12 meal, i mind the disrespect and arrogance.

‘Gnocchi’ is a true revelation to the stagnant, local, restaurant scene. With fantastic service, food and portions, they impress time and time again. The homemade Italian dressing is otherworldly and the cream of wild mushroom soup is something that will have you coming back. The hand rolled gnocchi are the best you’ve ever eaten, trust me. ‘Gnocchi’ is great and absolutely deserves your patronage.

I came a few weeks, maybe a month or 2 after the grand opening. The place was dead on a Saturday night. The service was terrible, but the food was great so the fix to make this place great is very easy. You also picked a bad location, with surrounding vacancies, but it is what it is!

The food is good but the service is inconsistent and slow. Three different people asked us what we wanted to drink before we received our beverages. They offered a box for our leftovers and never brought it. Both times, we were one of three tables there.

Gnocchi is my new favorite restaurant! The gnocchis are better than the ones grandma made. No kidding. The portions are large and the servers were very friendly. The cannolis are the best Ive ever eaten. We will definitely be back.

Overpriced average quality Italian fare. Small portions and extremely slow, indifferent service. Salad and rolls were good. Nice atmosphere. Overall very disappointed. Dont waste your time. Olive Garden is better.

My fiance and I had a wonderful meal the other day to celebrate her finishing her final day of class for her Masters of Social Work program from Wayne State University. Wonderful staff, food, and great prices.

Wonderful gnocchi, wonderful service! The eggplant parmesan was disappointing, but really, the gnocchi side more than made up for it. Will go again and be sure to order one of the many gnocchi specialty dishes.

Amazing food! Probably the best Gnoochis I have ever had. Their home made bread was great as well. If you get a salad have to try their house garlic dressing. Im getting hungry writing this!

A small mom and pop kinda Italian food place. The food was really good and so were the bread rolls at the table. Not a bad place to try at least once.
