Ive been here twice now and the food is disappointing. Mediocre, at best. And definitely inconsistent in quality. On the plus side, the beer is good, happy hr goes til 7 instead of 6, and they have some great daily deals! Their boneless Buffalo wings are also really good! Perfect amount of crunch and tenderness (at least this time) . The view and atmosphere is also really nice. But aside from the wings, the food.... not nice. The boneless wings inspired me to get chicken strips, which comes with fries and coleslaw. The fries were fresh but bland, the chicken strips were more like fingers, as in literally the thickness and length of one of my fingers, and the coleslaw was absolutely revolting. I generally love coleslaw, but this one was made of pure mayo - not a slaw mix. The chicken strips were generally tasty, but because some of them were so thin, the breading was chewy and empty at times. One was so thin I thought it must be a stray piece of calamari from another persons plate. This particular piece also tasted a little fishy. But when I looked it was definitely white chicken meat. I loved the honey mustard though. Which is kinda sad if thats the best you can say about a meal. As we left, we saw another persons chicken strips meal piled high with chicken and the strips were of a respectable size. Not the paltry amount I got, especially for the $14 it cost. So I may go there for a beer, but never again for the food.

Beautiful place with plenty of seating to accommodate large parties. However, thats the end for location/fare for this review Unfortunately, one of the general managers has an opportunity to learn about customer service. To that fellow - - well, being mean to people doesnt make you special, Mr. Kosar Jersey; it makes you a jerk. When I tell you theres a problem, logically, with how youre addressing my group of ~20 friends - - and your response is to say "Okay" and then ask male members of my group, "is your friend super drunk?" Come on. Clue number one: that coffee cup in my hand. And you still said that because I questioned your behavior. Youre letting your sexism show - - theres no place for your behavior in 2016 (and those are MY guys - not yours) Past that, please know, one of the waitstaff came over to talk with us - a quite professional, and straight-forward woman. We appreciated her consideration to apologize for the managers behavior, however, we left without ordering (we tipped her anyway, as she shouldnt lose the income due to her coworkers egregious behavior) House Beer was welcoming and happy to have us - only 1.5 blocks away

Came here restaurant week with a friend. We ordered the 3 course meal Armadillo Eggs, bacon and cheddar croquettes with seasonal vegetables and grilled flank steak, and blueberry creme. The food was great but they seemed to be low on stock. We didnt get our Armadillo Eggs, the flank steak was literally 4 pieces of thin sliced steak, and we didnt get the creme because they were out. I understand that its restaurant week and the store may run out but I feel that the server should at least have notified us before ordering in the first place (we would have gladly made another order). The food and service was great but I left not wanting to ever come back because I felt like I was cheated. The server should have notified us to start with.

A group of 7s first time visited Ram Sat. 18, 2017 and waited over 15 min before anyone came by, only to find out she wasnt our server and will bring us out water only. Mind you, the place wasnt even busy ( quarter filled or less), plus noticed servers were all walking around chatting with one another. Finally, I grab the manager, and she assured me a server will be coming by, still after 10 min, no server. I expressed our discontent to the manager again with no offering of resolution. So our group got up and left. The restaurant beautifully designed, and the location is prime, but with the lack of customer service and highly competitive area, I do not see this place lasting very long.not see this place lasting very long.

Came here with friends this past weekend and had an overall terrible experience. The service and kitchen were very slow. When we spoke with the manager, Andrew Coy, he told us he didnt care that we were not having a good experience because he cant control that the restaurant was busy. He was very rude. Our server checked to see if he would do anything about our bills when we were checking out (we did not ask for this). Andrew came to the table and said he would not take anything off the bills, and that he is not sorry for our experience because the restaurant was busy. We will never be going back to Ram and will continue to tell others to stay away. And Andrew Coy, you should not be in the restaurant business!

This place is great! Extremely friendly staff, extra clean and has lots of fun people watching places to sit. When the weather is nice, good outdoor seating, and most of the windows get opened up to enjoy nice weather. Beer is good and brewed right there in house, the offer virtually all local liquors, how cool to support Columbus that way. I admit Ive had salads both times Ive been there, but they are huge and delicious. I have to give a shout out to Taylor who was bartender/server on the first floor both times weve been there. She clearly loves her job, is very attentive and wonderfully pleasant. She is a lot of the reason our experiences have been so great. I highly recommend this place.

Beer was the highlight, service left us wanting. Dinner started off well with good beer and appetizers but went south during the main course. Armadillo eggs and the Ram DIPA are a good combination; spicy chicken and a sharp ipa. However, not even half way into the main course the server delivered our desserts. When I asked why they brought out the desserts so early, the servers response was the kitchen was in a hurry. They offered to bring out boxes as if boxing our dinner and just skipping to dessert right away was the solution. So while we then hurried through dinner, our ice cream melted and crème brulé softened. Not going to be in a hurry to come back for dinner service.

Came with my sister for something between lunch and dinner, so not super busy. It was seat yourself, and so we did. We waited for 20 minutes and no one came up to us to give a menu or ask for an order, or even ask if we were being served. I actually came up to one of the servers to say that we didnt have a menu and no one was taking our order... And pointed in the direction of our table. We sat for another 10 minutes and no one came up to us so we decided to leave. Bummer. I wanted to try their beer and food, other reviews seem pretty good. But if youre really hungry, save yourself the trouble and go to Northstar instead.

I understand reviews are often skewed to the negative because people who enjoy a particular experience arent peeved enough to sit behind a computer screen and complain - but please hear this one out. I ordered a medium rare filet (steak, expensive cut) sandwich and garlic fries but was met with a monstronsity which closely resembled an exceptionally dry Jack Links beef stick, shrivled onions, and a scant bit of potato accompanied by a mound of raw garlic. Yes. Raw garlic. Do yourself a favor and visit for the beer only or skip on down a few establishments where real cooks work.
