NEVER order from this place, especially via Uber Eats. My husband and I tried to order food for a night in and it turned into an hour and half wait with NO FOOD. After we placed our order via Uber Eats, we received a phone call and a voicemail stating that they were out of curry chicken. We called back less than 30 seconds later and no one picked up. Over the next hour and a half, we called them several times with no response (live called over 10 times). Finally we contacted Uber Eats to see if we could get the message to them an alternative way. Uber Eats couldnt even get a hold of them. Instead they contacted the driver who was to deliver the food and told them to relay the message about the order replacement we preferred. 15 minutes later, still no food. We then received a random angry call from someone saying that we had canceled our order and wasted our time. After they hung up, we called Uber Eats again and canceled the order. Im a Caribbean girl myself and I have a lot of patience but over 2 hours of waiting for food is UNACCEPTABLE. We couldve saved ourselves the trouble and just have gone to Enas Caribbean Kitchen and received our food in 15-20 minutes. If youre anything like me and hate a lack of communication and customer service, just go to Enas Caribbean Kitchen on Cleveland Ave instead. They never disappoint.

I ordered this after the great reviews and my love for goat meat and oxtails. I am a foodie and I eat out often and am in constant search for quality food that is specific to a culture or dedicated to a specialized foods. I have to say that I am soooo disappointed with the goat curry and the oxtails. They all tasted bland and gross. The cabbage had carrots and green beans and corn all of which was not mentioned on the menu. And the oxtails came with some doughy looking/tasting tubular things. I hated this meal and could not finish it. I did like the plantains however except for they were ruined by the disgusting oxtails broth. I tried to eat it that day and the next day and I still managed to throw the majority away. I wish I could honestly get my money back. I am sorry. I never leave bad reviews like this about food or restaurants but I tried two different dishes and wasted both. I feel so bad about it. I also ordered via UberEats but it should not affect this order at all.

I still dont understand why some jamaican restaurant are very rude to their customer and lack customer service i called in to get my meal i place 4 order when i arrived there was a huge line i waited till my turn when he got to me they kept skipping me and serving people behind me i try to tell them while standing in front that i ordered the lady just shouted at me with a nasty attitude and told me to wait for my turn i had to leave the place without taking my order. So sad i want watever i am putting in my stomach to be pure and peaceful they need to respect customers more.

Love this place! They often sell out of food, so Ive had to try food I would most likely never try, like Brown Stew, Oxtails, Curry Goat, & fried plantains. The awesome thing is, EVERYTHING Ive tried taste amazing. My only gripe is that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. My church is nearby and my family & I are often hungry after church. There have been quite a few times that we drove by forgetting they were closed Sundays. I think the restaurant would get a lot of business on Sundays, especially from church crowds.

Island Vibes is a mainly carryout restaurant that offers great Jamaican comfort food. I introduced my mother who retired fron running a church kitchen that served the public to the place and she enjoyed it. We agreed that this place offers good home cooking. There is nothing fancy, just two people that enjoy what they do. I love their jerk and the oxtails. My teenage daughter whines for the curry goat.

Ive been to Jamaica before, and I loved their food so much. This is the only place that even comes close to what I had there! Everything was delicious, the jerk chicken was nice and smoky, not too spicy, the cabbage was actually delicious, and the patties were very good. The people there are so nice, and its the only place Ill go for real Jamaican food!

Jerk Chicken was great. Had a nice smokey flavor with a good amount of spice! Ox Tail was ok. Customer Service could have been better. Decent selection of traditional Jamaican dishes, but they did not have ackee and salt fish, fried dumplings, or fried chicken. Id go back just for the Jerk Chicken.

Just passing through - from W.Va. - and saw this place. Oh my word! Great food!! Got the curried chicken, jerk chicken. My sister had curried goat and lots of side dishes. All of it was soooo tasty! Now Im trying to figure a way to make the 3 hour trip back to Columbus to eat there again.

Great food. I had oxtail with rice and beans, mac and cheese and cornbread. The ox tail has the bone in to extract all the flavors and its sauce works with the rice and beans harmoniously. The corn bread walks a fine line of not too sweet and not too dry. I will be going back

Food is great if you can get any. The parking is nonexistent also they are rarely on time to open in the morning. If they are able to be open you may have ro get the food and order out the back door sense they dont always have the key to the front door

I love everything about this place....The only thing that needs to be changed is the validity of thier hours of operation....I came there one night at a time where the site says they were open...Buy they were actually closed.
