First of all the food is fabulous! I had the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. This isnt a bowl of soup, it is more like a tomato dip to dunk your sandwich in. That being said, the sandwich is so huge I could only eat half. Hubby had the chicken strips and fries. Really plentiful portions of both and the Luxe sauce is great. Our grandson was able to make a meal off of the side of mac n cheese, which is great since there is no kids menu. THIS IS NOT A KID FRIENDLY PLACE! I am not sure who tinkled in our waitresses Rice Krispies this morning but she was a bit snarky from GO! She was NOT HAPPY that she was having to wait on another table...guess we showed up close to her end of shift. We forgot our kid entertainment bag in the car, you would have thought we had asked her to give us her tips for the day when we ask for some crayons... she grabbed the menu and said he cant draw on the menu, we never said he was going to! LOL If you can see past a snobby waitress, who hubby still tipped out at better than 20% ( she better be glad it wasnt me ), and your kids not being made felt welcome, by all means go in and enjoy the great food. We have been before and have not had an issue, but we have not had our grandson. Who knew, I certainly didnt, that you could get treated poorly when you have a cutie patootie 5 year old with you!

Ate here before with my wife and have to say the food is some of the best Ive had. On the other hand, the staff that greets you, especially the men, have some of the worst manners Ive experienced at a restaurant. They act as if they dont want your business. Will not take your phone number in person when putting your name down for the wait list. There is no room to wait in the restaurant since its very small and the bar is always crowded. Even after politely trying to convince him to take my phone number he said, "No, its policy." Great. Scalvatore next door just earned $120 of revenue. Will likely not return again since they dont genuinely appreciate my wife and Is patronage. So sick of the snobbery that is ruining this nice town.

Extremely disappointed today by the behavior of one of the hostesses while waiting on a take-out. She told me I was rude for saying "Excuse me" to get the attention of ANOTHER hostess. (There had been no problems/nothing vexing about the experience to cause me to say those two words in any particular way.) Puzzled, I asked what she meant and if she was having a bad day...? She snottily assured me she wasnt and proceeded to roll her eyes/sigh/look otherwise annoyed by my presence. And. Repeated. That. I. Was. Rude. For. Saying. "Excuse me." Um. What?

Their filet is to die for, if youre ever dumb enough to end up in jail, the thought of ordering the filet once youre out will keep your hunger strike up like youre Gandhi. Never brought my service dog in, reason being shes a big dog and they have limited space to hide a 60lb k9 without anyone stepping on a tail. In addition with any luck you can park where you can keep an eye on your car. Prices are on par with the rest of Birmingham but as with anything you get what you pay for, and this place delivers on that front in spades.

I used to love this place, and I used to come here at least twice a week, until this day where the manager or whoever he was was so rude and in polo shirt. I told him when I left that I wont come back because of the bad experience and he opened the door for me. I really used to live this place but after this I wont even think about it. He followed me outside and took a picture of me and my friend in with my car. This is so awkward and now Im scared to walk by that place. This guy is so weird and should be fired.

Fantastic food, nice ambience. Had Roast Chicken special, and my wife had the Chili and Brussel Sprout salad. Both were very delicious, though a little rich. Prices are a little high, but its worth the money. Parking close can be a challenge and there isnt good space if you need to wait for a table. Waitstaff were on top of it and very friendly.

The Luxe burger is amazing, but you pay dearly for it...$11 for a single patty burger without sides. The waitresses are always great, but sometimes the hostesses are aloof while I stand around to be seated for a couple of minutes. I always expect a little more from this place due to its location, branding, and price, but am usually let down.

Three words.. Sweet potato fries. Hands down the best sweet potato fries Ive had, they are so addicting. The burgers are really good as well. Keep in mind it does get really busy during peak times such as Friday or Saturday night. Another of my favorites is the Salted Caramel Pound Cake, one of my all time favorite desserts so amazing!

Great food. A bit off the main path of downtown birmingham but worth it. They have a hidden secret for your inner child... chicken figers with MIXED fries. Half sweet potatoe.. half regular. Its amazing and super affordable. Their beer selection is on point. Great place. Love it there!

What a great place...the staff was great...attentive, friendly. Had the Greek steak sandwich and it was outstanding! The side Greek salad is ten notches above your normal Coney Island Greek salad. Prices actually reasonable for the quality you get. Overall cant wait to go back again.

Best wings around. Burgers are good, fries are great. Other highlights include the brussels sprout salad (try with salmon), the nachos, and rice pudding for dessert. Great food, and a good place to drink a few beers.

This is a great upscale burger joint. The wine list is pricy but has more than a few good bottles. Burgers are perfect and for the non meat eating crowd the Mahi Mahi sandwich and the veggie burger are awesome.

This place is the absolute worst! If I could give it a negative rating I would have. Snooty patrons and an unfriendly environment. Plenty of other high quality establishments in the area, choose one of them.

Luxe is always a must stop on any trip to the Metro Detroit area. Good food, friendly staff, nice ambiance, although a bit loud. In warmer months there is even patio seating.

Great little in-town spot to grab a burger and fries! The Spicy Tenderloin (ask for a side of zip sauce!) and Crispy Arugula Potatoes are delicious, too.

Great selection of beer and friendly staff. You can actually have a nice conversation with friends and family at this meeting place.
