Went here to celebrate my birthday. Service was really slow and inattentive. Our waitress gave me the vibe that she really wasnt in the mood to be at work. Appetizer was not fresh. Tasted like steak had been previously frozen and microwaved before it was put in the quesadilla. My wifes steak was undercooked and really tough. Being a butcher for 4 years, I tried it and it had the texture like economy meat. Economy grade is the kind of meat they sell in poorer countries because they cant afford better quality. I wasnt impressed with my Aussie punch. It tasted more like fruit punch than an alcoholic beverage. Order a full rack of ribs and they only give you a half rack for a full order, however they charge just as much as other restaurants for their full order. Waitress never asked how our food or drinks tasted. Manager and 90% of the front of the house staff where just standing around the door talking. Finally, after getting slow and inattentive service and substandard food. I was really to bolt out of there. I gave two stars because my wife said her baked potato was really good. I spent $70 and was not impressed the slightest bit. We wont come back. For just a little more we could have gone to a better quality restaurant like The Melting Pot or Teds Montana Grill in Tallahassee. Note to proprietar: If you want to run a successful restaurant you need to seriously improve two things immediately. First, dont try and use dated or poor quality food. Your food cost may suffer a little more. But you will likely hear very few complaints about freshness again. Second, your manager and wait staff should not be standing around in the way of customers. Your manager should be walking through the dining room every 30 min and greeting each table and asking about their visit. I feel for as much as we pay restaurant managers, their sole duty should not be hosting. This is where you could have won me over, but nobody cared enough to ask about our meal or visit our table. Lastly and I will be done. If your employees dont want to be there, just let them go home. A server with a bad or inattentive attitude will kill your business. If 80 customers go and tell all their friends and family that their server has a bad attitude, you can figure how much business you will lose and fast.

This Outback is probably the worst Outback Steakhouse I have ever experienced. The service was decent at best, and the food was not good. My family and I sat down and out server was pretty nice, she asked for our drinks. I ordered a water, but she ended up giving me an iced tea instead. She took the tea back and gave me water. After I got my water she took my order. I ordered a slow-roasted steak medium. I forgot the name of the steaks that my other family members had. I ordered mashed potatoes and shrimp as my sides. I also ordered an extra side of mushrooms. The wait was pretty long, we sat there for about 45 minutes waiting on our meals. When our meals arrived I was pretty disappointed. My steak was very pink in the middle, almost red. One complaint however, is that they forgot the mushrooms and I had to ask for them. My fellow family members steaks were also red even though they ordered medium. The food was served luke-warm and it was not worth the money that was spent. My younger brother ordered a lobster and the lobster was so small, it was not worth the $10 we paid. We sent the food back and the manager gave us two new plates with extra sides. They could have done better, and if I probably would never visit this Outback ever again.

We normally love Outback, this was our first time at the one in Valdosta. It was busy but not packed. The waitress was nice but I dont know if she was having a bad night or if shes in the wrong profession. I had to ask another server for straws, she did not bring silverware with the salads, she never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. When we all had food left on our plates and I asked for boxes, she only brought 2 for 4 people. When we asked her to split the check she charged the people who got water for tea. When we asked for drinks to go, she brought unsweetened tea to people that got sweetened. Then said wed have to wait for a new batch to be brewed if we wanted replacements. While taking our order she spilled water on the floor along side our table, saying shed come back to clean it up, she never did. Customers walked through it for an hour. She put the tray on a tray jack in the kitchen and pushed it across the restaurant to our table, never saw that one before. There was not one thing about the service that was acceptable. The food was very tasty and fresh and the atmosphere was pleasant.

My husband ordered the 13 oz ribeye. Was told they didnt have any so he ordered the 22oz bone in ribeye with a sweet potato. He couldnt eat the steak because it had a bad smell to it and looked like it was cooked in a frying pan. It shouldve been cooked on a fire grill like the menu said. His potato was squished and overlooked. My sons chicken fingers were over-cooked. He didnt eat his food either. My daughter had hot wings that werent hot and looked like they were heated in a microwave. Very disgusted with our dinner. $100 later and we are heading to another restaurant so my husband can eat a steak.

We came here for a celebration. We actually meant to go to Texas Roadhouse but decided to come here instead. The waiter took forever to order our drinks. Then she came back and we asked her we were ready and she said she would be back. The server didnt even come back for another 10 minutes. On top of that we waited for 45 mins for the food and it wasnt that busy, it was a Tuesday. then food we ordered was salty! The wings, the chicken the fries! I know fries can be salty but those were bad. Me and our friends thought we should of just gone to Texas Roadhouse which was 5x better than this.

The food was good, cooked to order and with a surprising tame yet still diverse in flavoring. Although I feelt that paying the extra to have my filet "crusted" with blue cheese was a waste when the waiter returned with a steal adorned with 3-4 piddly pieces of cheese. The sweet potato was good and salad filling. The biggest plus I can give this place is to the staff though. The waiter was friendly and it didnt feel forces whenever we needed him he showed up, and he was highly knowledgeable of the menu. An A+ to him and the others.
