First off it was Monday at 5pm the place was empty but we had a 30 minute wait. The worker that was late, causing us to wait comes in has a conversation with not one but 3 different employees. We finally sit, order drinks and wait 25 minutes for a bottled Heineken and a rum punch. In the process of this 25 minutes I alert the hostess we havent received our drinks, she states its nothing she can do and walks away. Minutes later she goes to retrieve a beverage for another table. I look back at the empty table behind me to notice it has utensils and surprise we didnt have any. By this time Im upset, I want to speak to the manager. She takes 2 minutes to wobble her ignorant behind out to tell me the 25 minutes is due to two bartenders being backed up with drunk orders. There was 3 people at the bar, aside from the bar there was at most 5 families there. In all the years Ive visited Fridays its never been this empty. There was no professionalism from the manager as she made excuses it was clear why the employees there suck, they have a horrible manager. An hour of my life later my family and I walked out of fridays hungry and without what we came for. Heres a tip to Fridays if you didnt have customers you wouldnt have jobs. I understand being busy but that will never be the customers issue. Worst experience ever!!!! Dont waste your time.

I usually try to avoid the place due to pretty bad service in the past but today took the cake. I stopped in at 1:30 pm, notably after the lunch rush. When I entered, no one was at the front to greet me (surprise). I waited about a minute before someone came up and seated me. Thus far not a big deal; I understand that they might have to leave the front sometimes. Now, I was seated in a section that was empty but it was adjacent to a section with a decent amount of people in it being served. I sat facing that section deliberately as so they would not ignore me. Well that didnt work. I set my timer on my phone to start going to see how long it would take for me to be acknowledged and place my drink order, since I was already expecting this to be bad. Well, 11:30 ticked by and no one even looked in my direction. Im on my lunch and dont have 30 min to hope they notice me before I can get a water. Im actually impressed at how poor the service is here; its an accomplishment. Its too bad I had to be back in the office or I would have waited just to see how long it really took for anyone to even acknowledge me. I wouldnt be surprised if an hour went by. I would not go here again; this isnt the first time Ive had issues

I just went there last night and wanted to write while it was fresh in my mind. I went there and my boyfriend and I were sat we already knew what we wanted he ordered the 2 for 15 queso dip and steak tacos. We had to send the chips back because they were not cooked all the way. I wanted to order the Jack Daniels sampler but was told that they did not have the ribs for it. That was the thing I came for, I eat at TGI Fridays all the time and I have never been told they were out of something. I just ordered Sesame chicken and Hibachi Skewers. We just ate the appetizers and had to get the entrees to go because we had a movie to catch. We just did not want to stay there, a guy was screaming his head off at the bar and with all that security nobody told him to keep it down. When we got home from the movie we finished the entrees and the rice on both were total mush. I normally go to the Dearborn or Livonia locations for our dinner and a movie night and have never had an experience like this. It was a busy Saturday night but that bar made it seem like a zoo. I will not come back to this location. Oh, Shayna P. was our server and was very nice and had nothing to do with the food or the atmosphere.

My husband & I recently ate at this restaurant. Looking forward to it as we always have loved the TGI Fridays and were we live now there are no close locations. Unfortunately, this review is not a good one for this Restaurant in Southfield, Michigan. I would like to say that the Waitresses that we did have were very Sweet & Courteous, I will give them that. The Server I guess had "racial" issues as I would see it. He more or less threw our food on our table .. but, when he went to place food on a table of his "color" he gracefully, placed it down. If you could only guess ~ I was NOT HAPPY ~ but, I sat and said nothing. The food was good as always for the TGI Fridays ~ upon paying, my husband paid by credit card and gave the waitress a 20% CASH TIP. When we came home we checked our credit card only to see that they had placed an ADDITIONAL TIP onto our CREDIT CARD WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION ~ So, PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS HAPPENING TO YOU!!! WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE THEY ARE DOING THIS TO! JUST AN FYI!

My fiancé and I say down at the bar. There were a total of 5 people sitting there...including us two. We waited and waited for someone to give us a menu so we could order. There was a lady behind us, she said I will be with you in one minute. We waited patiently at first. She began making two drinks..stood around chit chatting...all never asked if we wanted drinks water or anything. We only wanted a drink. After we sat there for 20 min total time I decided to leave my fiancé wanted to stay. So after he noticed that she hadnt came over to where we were he agreed on leaving also. Mind you we are both are 6 + tall..so she couldnt miss us. We stood up to leave gathering our things proceeding to leave , thennnn the bar maid comes and say " you decided to change your mind?" (Feeling pissed) Thinking NO you changed our mind" The manager needs to fire her and hire someone to handle the bar. Disappointed customers!

Wow!...What Can I Say? This was truly an experience that I will never forget. I took my brother out to dinner at this particular franchise. We were seated pretty quickly, which is a very good thing considering it was about 7:00PM (the after work crowd). Drinks came in without delay. Our waitress was good at suggesting something for my brother who couldnt decide what to order. Music was a very good mix of urban contemporary & hip hop tunes. But as time went on and the later it got, the place really got packed. I understand that this is very good for business, HOWEVER, the noise level increased a little bit too much. My brother joked about feeling like he was in Atlanta at the club or something. He was excited to see such a lively crowd of fashionable people. The food was good! The service was great! But this is not the place to come for a nice quiet dinner...Its Fridays! What do you expect?
