DO NOT GO HERE!!! EVER!!! Chow Town? More like take me out back and shoot me so I dont have to eat here Town. One of the most uncomfortable and disgusting dining experiences of My life. The reason we decided to go was because the reviews here said that "It changed my life." And "Chow Town has restored my faith in Chinese Buffets" In reality it was a nightmare in heating bowls. It all started when we drove up and saw the decor of the building. It has a strange Greek style pavilion covering part of the parking lot. And that shouldve been our first clue. From there the nightmare on Chow Town Street only got worse. Once inside the waitress seated us next to the bathroom and you could smell them from a mile away. We asked to move and she begrudgingly agreed. Once we were seated we began the arduous process of grabbing our food and eating. All the dishes were stale and every one of them seemed to have been sitting out for more than a few hours. Even when I saw them take new dishes out, they tasted stale and chewy. The only redeemable part of this buffet was the Hibachi and even then the selection for the things to have the cook Hibachi was very small. And when asked if they had more of any of the items we were treated as if we were stupid for asking. DO NOT GO HERE! EVER. If google had a 0/5 I would give it.

We were enjoying our food at Chow Town, as we had in the past when the waiter brought my daughter a glass of soda with a roach stuck inside the glass. I called the waiter over and he looked in the glass and testified to the fact that, yes, there was in fact a roach inside. He simply took the glass away and brought her another drink as if it was nothing. No apology! I went up to the manager and explained what had happened. He called the waiter over and the waiter told the manager that there was a roach in the glass. The manager did not apologize, He just looked annoyed at us and said he would take $5 off the bill. I tried to explain that everyone at the table (there were 5 of us) had stopped eating and were totally disgusted and they tried to explain that the exterminator had been there the day before. What does that have to do with me? Other staff was called over, we did not understand what they were talking about, they were rude and unapologetic and FINALLY after much debate they took $20 off our $60 bill but it wasnt about the money, it was about HOW we were treated and the lack of apology. Our food should have been completely comped! We will never go back and as promised to the manager, here is my review !!!

Honestly, one of the nicer places to eat in Valdosta, at a very reasonable price. What has always intrigued me, is when you first drive up to the front of the building, depending on the season ofcourse, the outside appearance does not even remotely match the beautiful marble architecture and cozy atmosphere inside. The service has improved, and the food is amazing! Everything we found on the buffet was fresh and plentyful, which is a pet peeve for me to go to a buffet of any kind and find empty pans. The only odd thing i noticed was the chicken on a stick was infact pork, not chicken, which didnt bother me, the meat was tender and delicious, however, that may bother someone else immensly, that does not eat pork, i would suggest updating the lables. Ultimately me and my fiance had a great experience overall, and will definitely return!

Chow Town is a buffet of BS, that has low quality food at a high cost. The owner and the waitresses are very unprofessional and not hospitable; poor customer service, they dont support or honor a military or senior discount. Just last night a lady and her baby was at the counter; the owner/manager ignored the baby and the customer, acted impatient as she asked for cutlery for her to go order. The environment is very unclean with dirty silverware and dishes, overcooked fried foods, and miniature scraps of crab legs, that are replenished every 20-30 minutes. I was told by a regular customer that the larger crab legs are put out later in the evenings for Friday and Saturday nights. Overall the service is poor and you can tell the staff really dont want to wait on you.

Great place to eat. Very large selection of food including Chinese, traditional Southern, Hibachi grill, salad bar, and if you have a sweet tooth they have a bar for that too.. also have fresh hand made Sushi. Good prices during lunch through 4 PM , and a small amount more for evenings and weekends.. they have even more selection during the evening and on the weekends (lobster, steak, and other seafood). They open at 11 AM and if youre going here for lunch get there quick because it fills up fast, the servers are very good also..

The buffet is located off of I 95 in Valdosta Georgia. It is a very large restaurant. Impressive parking lot and Decour. They have a huge selection for hot foods Chinese American buffet, fresh sushi bar, and a cook to order window. There is lots of seating. If you are a buffett or Chinese food enthusiast I would highly recommend. The restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms. They were quick seat you. There is something for everyone from fresh fruit, salad, desserts etc. Theyre reasonably priced and can fit a large crowd

Chow Town has restored my faith in buffets. The selection is large and the ability to personalize my own stir fry and do so repeatedly is nothing short of supernatural. After I satiated my hunger with the endless carnivorous mountains I selected, I then discover a seemingly interminable selection of sushi. My chop sticks have never been worked so hard before. I will be back with the swiftness of Olympic champions. Thank you for this dining experience.

Not great. Went on a tues night at 5:30. My plates were dirty when I picked them up. Place has a funny smell. The food was mostly all cold and chewy like it had been there awhile. My kids usually tear up a Chinese buffet, and even they thought it all tasted strange, The only one who enjoyed it was my husband and he only ate sushi, but he said that was delicious

This restaurant changed my life! The food was the best thing that I have ever placed in my mouth. The selection is more diverse than Disney worlds Epcot. The sauces will make you believe in hope again. It cured my hunger but more than that it healed my very soul. So thank you Chow Town you have made my life the best ever! I feel reborn! THANK YOU!

Sever was slow removing used plates ... if you go because the sign says crab legs, forget it! They only bring one bin of crab legs out (Enough to feed one person) every 10 to 15 minutes. Sushi is not fresh and dried out.. when consuming raw food should be better time and temperature control. Over all food was decent and priced reasonable..
