This was our first visit to the Fix. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. We were given the worst table in the the restaurant. (The one in the middle right up against the pole, under the 3 air conditioner blowers.) My wife was shivering. It took about 10 minutes for someone to notice us at one of their tables, and as soon as she came over we asked to be moved. We were immediately moved to upstairs and reassigned to a new server. My wife ordered some pretzel appetizers. They came about in about 10-15 minutes. My first bite was SO SALTY that I wasnt going to eat anymore. My wife had actually started picking the salt off the pretzel (she was more stubborn.) Fortunately the server came and asked us how it was, and if they ask, we have to answer right? So we told her. She took them away, and about 5-6 minutes later brought out a replacement. The replacements still had salt, but definitely were an improvement. My wife continued to pick the salt off, but I ate them as is. I ordered the special Burger. I really dont remember what it was, and it had no taste to me. The burger was not too tall, it fit in my mouth fine. The burger was cooked to order, and did not drip when I was eating it. So from an assembly point of view it was Excellent. The onion rings were good. The burger however, had no taste. It might be my tasting sensors will still on overload from the super salty pretzels, so disclaimer the no taste may have been situational to our visit. The ice tea I ordered seemed it was brewed in a coffee machine, as it tasted like coffee, but my wife says that is the norm in restaurants. Tea drinkers know however. Just like non-smokers know when they are talking to a smoker. So the ratings: Kitchen: a little slow, but adequate Presentation: Excellent Assembly: Excellent Food: Tasteless Service: Good to Slow. (First person was slow, second person was Good.)

I went to The Fix back at the old location and I had the burger with the chips on it. It was Ok, but def over priced. NOT the best burger Ive had in Worcester by any means. The staff was friendly though and I wanted to give the place another chance. I took my wife to the new location. The place looks AWESOME and is definitely a cool place to hangout. Unfortunately, the service was subpar and the food was again, not very good. Our waitress forgot pretty much everything we asked for. The pepsi was flat, they "fixed" that. The burger she got was still pretty raw, despite asking for medium, but no big deal, she liked it. The dips we asked for didnt come, the side of slaw didnt show up. So we had to ask her to bring the stuff after our meal was already dropped off. Everything just tastes, MEH.... The slaw, no flavor, the ranch tastes like a store bought ranch and has no good flavor. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A GOOD RANCH! Right? Lastly, our waitress asked us if the chicken sandwich I had actually had cheese on it. She told me her cook forgot the cheese twice the last client she had. She went on to tell us how frustrating it was the cook did that. I get it, its small talk, and I dont mind that, but it reinforced that our $45 bill for 2 sodas, a burger and a chicken sandwich, and an overall underwhelming meal was overpriced. We wont be back, however we do wish this establishment a lot of success. They have great potential!

We got sat at a table with stools for seats, they were very uncomfortable and it was disappointing to not be able to sit back and relax after a long morning of running errands across town. The pretzel bites we ordered as an appetizer were really hard and took a good amount of time to cool down for us to eat them. By the time we started eating them our food was being brought over. I got a vanilla milkshake and honestly it tasted like slightly thicker milk. Didnt taste anywhere close to vanilla. I ordered a salad and they put sea salt on top of the egg that came with it. That wouldnt be a problem if the bacon on the salad wasnt very salty. The two items being very salty made the whole salad extremely salty and it was a challenge just for me to eat half of it. My boyfriend ordered the Enzo which is a chicken sandwich and didnt have a problem with his order but he was rather annoyed that the server never asked if he wanted a refill on his tea. Their tea cups are small and he finished his tea before the meal came, the server got me another beverage but didnt bother to check on his tea. Overall we werent thrilled with the place and probably wont be going back.

Weve been here on 6 different occasions and have to say, not once were we disappointed by anything, service, staff or food quality. The Poutine with Duck Confit is to die for, crisp french fries, tasty brown gravy, Wisconsin cheese curds and topped with duck - YUM! Burgers by the bajillions what with all the toppings and rolls to select from, Im a fan of the burger in the grass (no roll) - there is something for everyone here even non-meat eaters. Drinks are not an after thought here - try the Root Beer float - its not your grandmothers root beer float. You will be amazed. The $5.00 appetizers are a great deal considering the quality of the product. You just cant go wrong. WIll visit again when the move to Grove Street is complete.

I don’t know, $25 bucks for a burger and a beer kind of rubs me the wrong way even if it is a REALLY good burger and the latest obscure micro-brew that all of the hipsters are raving about. Then again, it seems like most of Worcester’s college kids and trendy young professionals would disagree with me. Both times I was in the place it was packed. In all fairness, both the food and the service were great and they really seem to know how to handle a crowd. Still, 15 bucks for a cheeseburger? 10 for a plate of fires with gravy? Fortunately, if you’re a crabby old cheapskate like me, Worcester has no shortage of dives where a burger and brew can be had for about a third the price :)

A lot of fun. It was only an hour..I guess those escape the room places typically are. But for $27 a person, I would think you would get more than an hour of entertainment. Like, maybe its just me..but theres no way you could solve that whole thing in one hour..you would need to come back over and over and keep re-trying it. For the same price ($28 per person) you can do an unlimited pass to Boda Borg..not quite the same thing, but it seems pricey for the amount of time you get, and then you dont even end up solving the puzzle..I would probably give it another go though. Maybe an easier room.

First and last visit to the fix Burger Bar for us. Arrived at 5:30 on a Friday evening. We were informed by our server that the buns had not arrived. The manager came over and offered a brioche bun ...apparently that was the only one available. When we expressed our discontent he basically Shrugged and walked away saying Im sorry. About a half hour later our server informed us that we could have a store-bought bun because the cook had just run out to get some ...thanks but no thanks Fixx. The fix you failed. Appetizer was good and server really tried... so for that you get one star.
