It is always interesting to find a restaurant that is popular among the locals. That should mean good food at good price, or at least I think that is the secret recipe for local’s choice. We heard this is one of those spot, so we went to check it out. It is a local sports bar, and while we were there, people of all ages kept coming in and out. The inside is not so big, a bit smaller than I expected. It has a long bar counter seating from the entrance to the back, and high table seating throughout the space. They had several TVs on the walls for the sports fans. We went there for lunch, and we were pretty hungry. So, we decided to share an appetizer first. We had no idea what we were getting into at this point… We ordered Quinsigamond Platter, which was HUGE!!! It was too much for the three of us, especially since we all ordered individual lunch item on top of that. We had Fish Sandwich, Meatball & Sausage Combo Sandwich, and The Brenna Salad. Each one was crazy big portion, and at very affordable price. No wonder they are one of the very popular spots among the locals... We took home maybe half the food, as it was just way too much for the three of us. The generous portion of everything is just unbelievable. It was a nice lunch, we were completely stuffed, needed a good nap afterwords. The service was ok, friendly and casual. The atmosphere is comfortable, no-frill, and laid back. Sort of buried in the back of a strip mall behind a couple of other restaurants, seemed to be pretty popular with the locals.....sort of a long room dominated by the long bar on the right and high top tables throughout the rest, a large covered outside seating area for more summer like weather......service was pleasant, food was good and portions very big, we had the buffalo calamari, a chicken parm (this special) which was good and very generous and a steak salad, good though my wife thought a little tough....good place, lots of food lunch came before we finished the appetizer, that should not happen!!!

Horrible service tonight. Waitresses were too busy socializing. Have went twice before, much more efficient on a Friday/Saturday. Drink was spilled on accident, literally had to go up after 10-minutes of waiting and ask the bar tender to remake the drink. Hit or miss. Wont be the last visit, but will be a while. Not a horrible place, staff could be better trained, maybe a little well mannered as well. If it was my first trip, Id be hesitant to return from a customer service aspect, but this is just my opinion.

great place to a low key reasonable meal, family friendly although its cramped from all the customers so maybe skip the Friday night and weekend crowds but weekdays it cant be beat - love the nachos. Unfortunately its a bit out of view so youll pass it without even knowing it but if your in the plaza with trader joes in front of you, just turn around and walk towards the pool shop and its on the left, on the negative side, parking can be iffy as its a busy place so come early.

First of all this place is not on a lake or even close. I had the meatball sandwich and it was disappointing and overpriced, fries were good. Dining at the lakeside was really dining in a shopping plaza next to a bunch of dumpsters.

Lakeside is one of my local favorites. It has a great pub menu, friendly staff, daily specials, and a good beer selection. One little known item about Lakeside is that they cater. Perfect for parties.

4 times and 3 were great. One was a bit late and service was off. Soup was best Ive ever had since my Grandmas. Pams Pasta with shrimp was excellent taste although a little less butter would be 10 of 10.
