David P. 02/28/2016 Edit Later evening dinner reservation (8 pm) was NOT honored-waited 45 mins to be seated upstairs. A full glass of beer was spilled into another full glass of beer, breaking the first one and beer all over the table and onto the floor. Waiter stopped taking appetizer orders to mop up spill and did remove broken glass, but did not clean up floor nor offer to move us to identical open and set table right next to ours, so beer reek permeated entire meal and sticky underfoot. Also, broken glass could have gotten into plate of dipping oil and that was mentioned and he did NOT replace it !-dangerous !! Waiter did not take remaining appetizer order and had to be reminded later. Also, there is a bathroom upstairs there next to the tables and no screen but room for one. Also, burned food smells permated our dining area twice during our meal, 5-10 mins each time. So: broken glass, beer smells, wet table, open bathroom and burnt food smells = POOR service/ambience. Food was very good but I would NEVER go back. Owner seated us 45 mins late and never apologized for the problems !!

Excellent!!! I have been there 3 times on dates with my wife and 4 times with our three teenagers - twice for lunch and twice for dinner. Great to stop by before or after watching a movie at the strand. The General manager Albert could not go out of his way enough to accommodate my family, the food was pricey for Clinton, but tasted like anything I have enjoyed in Boston; need I say. Well worth the cost for the experience. If youve never had fine home made Italian food with excellent table and bar service - dont expect to get a 3$ burger and beer- this is not your place!!!. Fresh, home made on the premise, to die for entrees and amazing dessert - the bread pudding is inappropriately named; Vanilla bean, crème brulee caramel deliciousness should be the name. Clintons bar and grille - save time and money driving to Boston and enjoy a lunch or dinner experience at Clintons Bar and Grille - Top Notch!!!

Excellent all around! We just moved back to the suburbs, and this place was a pleasant surprise. It has the look and quality of something you would expect to see in Boston. The bar manager, Freddy, was extremely friendly, fun, and welcoming. He gave us drink and food suggestions, and made the whole experience a step above! Another server, Lucas, stepped in to help and was also super outgoing and attentive. The food was truly outstanding. We had the Calamari, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and the Haddock with Risotto. We would order every one of them again, especially the Haddock. The prices are a bit high for the area, but not compared to the quality of food and service you receive... totally worth every penny. We will definitely be returning soon!

lunch recently....were a little concerned over the variety of reviews but it was a cloudy day so we needed a little ride......this place was great, decor was very nice and over all if this place were in boston it would be mobbed, well it wasnt but thats ok and it was pretty busy.....we ate at the bar and travis was our very good bar tender, drinks were very good and they have a great variety of liquors and 7 or 8 drafts, we had the calamari as and app with the feta and it was wonderful, probably as good as we have had anywhere, i had a burger, very good and wife had the beet salad, small, but very good....really a great place for central mass and a surprise for us....we really enjoyed it, give it a try!!!!

Sunday lunch outside was great minus the patron smoking her cigarette outside next to our table. Rude if you ask me. I dont want to breathe in your second hand smoke, thanks but no thanks. Service was great, the bread is homemade soft and delicious with a slight sweetness to it. Honey? Caesar salad starter was fresh and crisp. I didnt care for my veggie wrap. Its my fault for getting it though because I dont typically like wraps. It has eggplant French cut carrots zucchini mushrooms romaine lettuce and fresh dressing. My bothered boyfriend liked his steak tips a lot. Fries were yummy and served with personal ketchup. About $50 with tip one starter and two lunch portions. Will go again soon!

Friends and I went to Clintons Bar and Grille for an impromptu evening of apps/drinks after an event we attended earlier in the night. We randomly showed up at 8pm with 10 adults and 10 kids. This was an atypical night and we wanted to continue the celebration. We walked in and although we received many odd looks from patrons, the staff was AMAZING!!!! From the hostess, to the GM, to our amazing waitress - they helped accommodate us, made us feel comfortable and welcome and delivered delicious food (beet pizza!) We could not have asked for a warmer welcome. Thank you for a wonderful, fun night out for the adults and kids - we were all very impressed!

Went there to work and they said I would have a week to train and trained me for one day and never called me to come back in. The waitress that they had me training me with didnt know what she was doing and kept leaving me to smoke cigarettes. She had an attitude with me all night when I was doing everything that she told me to do. The food is way too over priced and wait staff is rude. They never even payed for the day I worked...worst business ever.

This grill is the best place in Clinton to check out. The portions are very generous, the food & wines have a wide range of great selections, the staff are super friendly & the atmosphere is super comfortable. I highly recommend this place for anyone. 10/10 would go to again, thank you!! :)

Service good. Food great. We ate there twice during my visit to the area in July 17. Only negative point was they did not have any milk. Not a big deal. But interesting in that we found out a few minutes after our waitress told us it was a full service resteraunt.

Fantastic food and drinks - such a great addition to downtown Clinton. The beet salad is great, Ive also really enjoyed the sauteed gulf shrimp with linguini as well as the roast chicken with sweet potato. Very creative menu offering something for everyone.

The quality of the appetizers, entrees, side dishes and deserts were top knotch. We had a variety of seafood, meat, amd vegetarian dishes. All excellent. The decor is very sharp. Nice ambience. Great value. Prices are right for the culinary experience.

This is an OASIS of top quality eats in the country! Anyone who feels otherwise is insane! The salmon is amazing and so is the lamb. We have gone back many times and sent friends! If you like eating in Boston, eat here and spare yourself the drive!

Our waitress was fantastic. The food was universally under-seasoned. Its a nice place, but if a restaurant is so confident they dont put out salt and pepper youre going to catch flak for not seasoning everything properly.

An hours wait over the weekend, which is one thing but its not Boston. Terribly over pretentious for whats basically a pizza joint with service to match except the prices think theyre a bit more than what they offer.
